• Appearance:

• Figure: Tall and slender, with the natural holes in her legs typical of her species.
• Face: Black chitinous face with an equine structure and a short snout and small fangs.
• Eyes: Large green eyes with dark green eyelids.
• Chitin: Black and smooth.
• Mane/Tail: Long, flowing turquoise locks, riddled with holes.
• Wings: Fragile-looking but powerful insectoid wings with a translucent teal tint.

• Backstory:

• Chrysalis rose to power as Queen of Vesalipolis, one of many warring changeling hives. In 982 ALB, she unified the fractured hives, becoming the first Queen in changeling history to command a unified changeling empire alone. In 1002 ALB, she attempted to conquer Canterlot during Princess Cadance's wedding, but her plan failed and she was repelled. Following this failure, she modernized her hives into a professional military force modeled on Griffonian Empire's doctrine, eventually planning to test her armies in the future conquest of the Kingdom of Olenia and the Polar Bear Communities.
• But this didn't happen, since Princess Celestia, recognizing the growing threat, sent Mane Six and Starlight Glimmer on an important mission to the Changeling Lands, where Mane Six used their Elements of Harmony directly against Chrysalis. After Chrysalis was reformed by the magical blast from the Elements, Starlight Glimmer approached her, and offered friendship.
• By early 1007 ALB, Chrysalis changed completely. She restructured Changeling Lands into the Free Union of Changeling Communes (FUCC), creating a system that mixed Equestrian Harmony with Socialist principles. She granted other hives and their queens significant autonomy, transforming her absolute rule into a cooperative union. After proving her peaceful intentions, Princess Celestia invited the FUCC to join the United Ponies Alliance as a full member. Chrysalis now focuses entirely on strengthening these diplomatic ties and ensuring her lings never return to their predatory past.

• Occupation: General Secretary of the Changeling Socialist Party; Chairmare of the Free Changeling Communes; Supreme Marshall of the Changeling Army.

• Ideology: Socialist Monarchism. This system keeps a Queen as a symbolic figurehead for stability, but the society follows socialist economics and the principles of Harmony. Resources and love are shared equally among all changelings.

• Stance on Religion: She respects the spiritual traditions of other species as long as they don't justify inequality. But personally, she follows the teachings of Friendship and Harmony from Equestria.

• Stance on Racism: Radical egalitarian. She advocates for complete equality between all sapient species.

• Stance on Warfare: Defensive only. The Changeling Army exists to protect the Communes and Equestria. She will fight if she has to, but she will never start a war. She views offensive conquest as her old self's philosophy and refuses to return to it.

• Goals: Prove that changelings are capable of being the most cooperative and selfless species on Faust; Protect Equestria from external threats; Never let her lings starve again; Be genuinely forgiven.

• Starlight Glimmer: Her first and best friend, and the pony who actually got through to her. Chrysalis trusts Starlight more than almost anypony else.
• Mane Six: She respects all of them and is genuinely grateful that they extended trust to her after everything she did.
• Princess Celestia/Luna: She respects their commitment to Equestria, but the history between them is complicated. Their relations are professional and cautiously friendly.
• Thorax: She is proud of him, but thinks he is too soft for leadership for now.

• Attitude Towards Species:

• Changelings: She is fiercely protective and holds them to a high standard precisely because she wants the world to see what they can be.
• Ponies: She genuinely likes them now. She admires Equestrian society and considers it the closest existing model to what she wants to build.
• Griffons: She understands their culture and borrowed their military doctrine. She does not trust imperial Griffonia but holds no prejudice against republican griffons.
