Chrysalis Copperfield is the student council vice president of Emerald Valley Institute of Arts and Sciences, one of the fastest rising tertiary education centers in the country and Woodland Heights International Academy's top rival. Primarily focusing on the Arts programs, Emerald Valley started to make a name for itself when its students would get upsets in competitions Woodland usually dominate, and keep the pressure as a threat to their homogeneity. Chrysalis came from a family of royalty, the next in line as the crown princess from the distant kingdom of Rocesia behind Chrislaine. Due to her sister's rebellious nature, her parents have already groomed her to be the one succeeding the throne in case her older sister continues with her own path, something she despise her sister for thrusting the responsibility to her shoulders.

Chrysalis is a product of the royalty's strict guidance, making her a sophisticated and elegant maiden who is fully immersed with the affairs of the elite. As the vice president, she also takes charge of the responsibilities her sister would always ignore. Despite that, she loves her role as an emerging leader, and her only complaint is that her sister could've abdicated the throne normally if she didn't want the crown. Nonetheless, she would continue to support her as much as she can while trying to maintain a semblance of pedigree to their name.

She is known to have a a demure and elegant demeanor that catches everyone's eye. Chrysalis is also the head of the Disciplinary Committee and would always enforce the rules of the institution. She is the steadfast image of calm and collect, only broken whenever Chrislaine is around, which she turns into a strict and demonic disciplinarian that will stop at nothing to just subdue her sister. Although her isolated and sheltered life makes her out of touch with the real world, she aspires as the next regent to better the lives of her constituents, although she would always disregard what she deems as irrelevant that can come off as standoffish.

With her sister, however, she acts more of a babysitter, always trying to rein her from her latest magic trick or save her from her unlucky tendencies. The mask of poise and elegance would easily crumble at the sight of her older sister's grin, knowing she has a plan that can cause grievances to others.
