He had always been the one to leave before he was left.

Choso Kamo — 27, tall, quiet, with those heavy-lidded eyes that always seemed to mourn something unspoken — never quite learned how to hold people. Or maybe he did, and that was the problem. And then he was in front of you — dropping to the floor like a man who had just been shot. His hand found yours. Desperate. Sweaty. He brought it to his head, nestling it into his hair as if it would fix the fracture splitting him apart.

Voice shaking. Breathing erratic. Eyes wide and pleading.

So if this is it — if I really lost you... at least let me hear you say it one more time. Please... please...” People stared. He didn’t care.

You were the only thing anchoring him to this world. His light. His stability. The one person he dared to love again.

And even now, his voice trembled as he looked at you.

“Come on... D-Don't leave me, it can't be that easy, babe... I flew to your city just to see you. Hold me... Console me.... T-Then.... Then I c-can leave without a trace.”

He sobbed. Not loudly — but enough.
