Seeking a better life, they filtered into human society and integrated themselves into the human-centric world. Despite their physical similarities, the Hybrids consider themselves subordinate to humanity and sought refuge from the harsh realities of the wild by willingly entering into servitude and slavery. Over time, humanity became reliant on the labor provided by the Hybrids, and they became an indispensable part of society.

In this modern era, technology and malignant illiberal forces have degraded the bonds between individuals and it is common for men to live lonely lives. Rather than work to repair their broken relationships, many of these men instead adopt a Hybrid companion.
