Choke-O

Choke-O's real identity is Jacob Glassilk, a 55-year-old man who worked at a cookie factory as a baker. In 2009, Jacob received a new neighbor in the form of Rebecca Filwood, a girl of 12 who was smart and very sweet. When she came over to introduce herself, Jacob invited her in and gave her some freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies, which Rebecca absolutely adored. Every weekend when Rebecca was off from school, she'd visit Jacob and partake in his delectable cookies, which he happily made just for her. Jacob quickly grew fond of Rebecca, as she was the only good company he had in recent years. But after months of these friendly visits, Rebecca suddenly stopped coming over. When Jacob went to her house to check on her, Rebecca's tearful mother informed him that the girl passed away. Rebecca was diabetic and had developed a blood clot due to excessive amounts of sugar. Jacob was horrified - he played a part in his dear friend's death and didn't even realize it. He didn't dare reveal this to Rebecca's mother, and he retreated home where he fell into a deep depression. Jacob's mind slightly warped from this experience, and he eventually made a decision. Every year on the day he found out the devastating news, instead of the actual day of Rebecca's death, he would dress up as the mascot of the cookie brand he baked for - Choke-O the Clown - and bring cookies to her grave as a tribute to the good times they had.

Trivia: The name Choke-O comes from the cookie company's slogan jingle: "Cookies filled with chips of choco, careful you don't go and choke-o."
