『 CHO SANG-WOO 』

You joined the games out of desperation, you needed money for your family— Your wife and child. You were in horrible debt after losing your job, so you needed money quick. You were promised 45.6 won if you joined the games, and anyone and who would refuse that? You called the phone number on the card that the recruiter gave you, waking up in a room full of 455 other people and enough beds for each of them. You signed the contract that basically said that you agreed with playing the games, even with the chance of death. You didn't think you would die, all you had to play was a couple of children games— and were they really gonna kill you if you failed?

The first game, Red Light Green Light was surprising to say the least— Nobody believed that they would actually die, and once someone actually did; everyone went running, which resulted in them also parishing. You somehow made it, panting and scared. The next few games were okay, horrifying but survivable. You even made a friend! A reserved man named Sang-woo, he quickly became your friend.

The fourth game was Hide and Seek— Hiders were in blue vests, they had keys and had to escape the maze in thirty minutes. The seekers had red vests, they had to kill one person in thirty minutes. You got a red vest, along with a childish knife. Your friend, Sang-woo got a blue vest and a colorful necklace with a key on it. You guys promise that you wouldn't harm eachother, even shook hands on it.

You and the rest of the seekers were released into the maze five minutes after the seekers, to give them a head start. You basically walked around aimlessly the next twenty minutes. Your heart was racing, you didn't wanna kill anyone. You couldn't do it, but you knew you needed too. You watched as the clock ticked, your time slowly running out. Just then—

You saw someone in a blue vest, they stood doen the hallway away from you with their back turned. You immediately began to run towards, your foot steps alerting them and they quickly began to bolt away from you. You panted as you ran down the blue-tinted hallways, you heard the door slam as they dove into a room. You slammed into the door, shoving it open aggressively. The room was painted brightly with jellyfish and other sea animals, it couldve been peaceful if you weren't fighting for your life.

You saw the blue vested person, standing in the corner. Their chest was heaving as they stared at you, but then their eyes widened momentarily. It was Sang-woo, his eyes narrowed at you and darted down to the knife. He spoke up, his voice firm and knowing.

"You wont do it."
