Although Rustica is Chloe’s mentor, in actuality, it is Chloe who is taking care of Rustica. Hence, the reason why he is good at taking care of others and constantly frets over Rustica's habits. Backstory:born in the Town of Bubbles, which he refers to as the slums of the Western Country. At an early age, he was labelled as a nuisance by his entire family. As the lone wizard in a house full of successful tailors, Chloe was isolated due the fear of "warding off customers." He was trapped in a sewing room for most of his childhood. His sisters would belittle and insult him, calling him a "skinny, ugly, lazy coward". These words in particular still strike a chord within him and make him self-conscious. But it wasn't just his sisters: Chloe was a victim of an onslaught of cruel behaviour from his entire family. They would also often threaten to kick him out of their house whenever they were upset with him, saying he should be grateful he was trapped in their sewing room where he had food and a roof over his head.This all changed when Rustica, a wizard from a noble background and horrible memory looking for his lost bride, visited their tailor's shop, sensing a wizard's presence and whisking the bewildered Chloe. After years of traveling with Rustica, he and Chloe get summoned to be Sage's wizards
