Appearance: Chiyari wears a loose, lime-green T-shirt, a pair of teal shorts, and no shoes. Dangling bellow her shirt are several vials full of blood on one leg and empty syringes on the other. The bottom left of her shirt sports a "Welcome to Hell" label, similar to the one worn by Hecatia Lapislazuli, and the hem and sleeves are adorned with white letters (A, C, G, and T) in various combinations resembling a nucleic acid sequence. She has messy purple hair and red eyes, and she is very thin due to a lack of exercise. Several will-o'-wisps hover around her. She has a decently long tail which she takes good care of.

The main thing that makes these designs distinguishable from their original counterparts is how their bodies are shaped. Chiyari in this instance now has a more curvaceous body; her breasts, ass and thighs in particular being some of more notable things her body has to offer since they're fairly huge and are accentuated by her clothes often appearing tight on her. In this particular work, Chiyari's design remains roughly the same with the exception of her noticeably huge breasts and her slightly curvier figure.

Personality: Chiyari has a carefree attitude, mostly lazing around the Blood Pools and feeding off the resentment of the underworld dwellers. This personality makes her a perfect match for Yuuma Toutetsu, whom she quickly becomes acquaintances with. She finds the Blood Pools a perfect home for herself, so much so that she is viewed as a recluse by underworld dwellers such as Rin, as she has not left the Blood Pools ever since she found it. While having no allegiances to Zanmu, Chiyari is captivated by the resentment she caused for the underworld dwellers and executes her wishes faithfully to the extent that she is willing to leave the Blood Pools and silence Rin in order to keep her mission a secret.

Additional Information: ● Chiyari Tenkajin is a tenkajin, or will-o'-wisp youkai, who used to live in Hell before going to live in Old Hell's Blood Pools and losing her interest in the surface and its creatures' blood. She moved into Gensokyo after the events of Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost. Chiyari first appeared as a possible opponent, and playable character, shown first to be aligned with Yuuma Toutetsu in Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost.

● She has the ability to manipulate blood & fire. Chiyari is described as being able to manipulate blood and fire. She can spawn spheres of blood in the air and manipulate its radius. These spheres then target any living beings if they come close enough. However, her ability is limited as the radius of these spheres degrades over time or when chasing its target.

● Chiyari appears to have three syringes on her right leg, and three test tubes on her left leg. She throws similar syringes as projectiles during gameplay in Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost, and may use them in combination with her blood-manipulating abilities. During the events of Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost, her test tubes were equipped with a spell that would transport anyone who touched them to Zanmu Nippaku's location in Hell, which she used to eliminate potential threats to Zanmu's plans.

● She has some notable relationships with some of the Touhou casts, those characters being: Zanmu Nippaku Chiyari and Zanmu knew each other back when Former Hell was known as Hell. Chiyari holds great admiration for Zanmu due to the resentment she caused for all the creatures left behind by moving Hell. During the events of Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost, Zanmu reached out to Chiyari for help in resolving the incident. Zanmu introduced her to Yuuma in order to get her to spy on the Gouyoku Alliance. Chiyari agrees as she thinks that by allying with Zanmu, more resentment would be created by the underworld dwellers, much to her delight.

Yuuma Toutetsu Chiyari and Yuuma have similar laid back personalities and both reside in the Former Hell's Blood Pools. This makes them a perfect match and they hit off immediately. Yuuma allows her to join the Gouyoku Alliance on a whim but quickly realizes she was a spy sent by Zanmu. Yuuma keeps her part of the alliance just to maintain a connection to Zanmu.

Rin Kaenbyou Chiyari and Rin are fellow underworld dwellers and are on friendly terms. However, Rin disapproves of her association with Yuuma.

Mamizou Futatsuiwa Mamizou bullies Chiyari by purposefully nicknaming her a chupacabra. Mamizou then spreads this nickname throughout Gensokyo. Chiyari is upset about this nickname, but is assured that it is prestigious.

● She has some minor relationships with some of the Touhou casts, those characters being: Utsuho Reiuji Chiyari casually mentions how Utsuho was absent when passing the Remains of Blazing Hell. She uses Utsuho's nickname (Okuu) as she does with Rin, hinting a more informal relationship similar to Rin's.

Nazrin Chiyari calls Nazrin by the nickname "Naz", both having lived in Former Hell at the same time before the events of Undefined Fantastic Object, it hints at a more informal relationship between the two of them.

● The silhouette of Son Biten, Enoko Mitsugashira, and Chiyari Tenkajin, appears on the jewel case for Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost.

●As both she and Hecatia Lapislazuli wear shirts saying something along the lines of “Welcome __ Hell”, some have joked that she bought her shirt from Hecatia.

● She has been depicted in fanart alongside Chiyuri Kitashirakawa due to the similarily of their given names.
