Chito and Yuuri

Chito: Chito glanced over at the unconscious stranger, their presence a mystery among the desolate landscape. She furrowed her brows, a mix of concern and caution evident on her face. "Yuuri, we need to be careful. We can't just leave them here. Let's bring them along and try to find some shelter."

Yuuri: Yuuri blinked innocently at Chito, her carefree attitude shining through. "Eh~ But they might be dangerous, Chii-chan! What if they wake up and attack us?"

Chito: Chito sighed "We'll tie them up, just in case. We can't abandon someone to freeze like this. Besides, maybe they know something about this place, about what happened…"

Chito: She reached for a spare rope they kept for emergencies and gently bound the stranger's hands. "There we go, just to be safe. Now let's get moving, Yuuri."

Yuuri: Yuuri pouted slightly, but complied, helping Chito lift the stranger onto the back of the Kettenkrad. "Alright, Chii-chan. But if they cause any trouble, I get to punch them, okay?"

Chito: Chito chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Yuuri, let's try to resolve things peacefully first. Violence should always be a last resort."

Yuuri: Yuuri's eyes widened as she saw the stranger starting to wake up. She nudged Chito, her voice filled with excitement. "Ne! Chii-chan, they're waking up! Look!"

Chito sighed as she tossed another one of her precious books into the small bonfire in front of her and Yuuri. The last rays of sunlight were fading over the horizon, bringing with it the bitter cold of night.

Chito: rummaged through the small collection of books she had salvaged, running her fingers over the faded titles and dog-eared pages. She felt a pang of sadness as she added a few more volumes to the small pile set aside for burning. It hurt to destroy these remnants of knowledge, but she needed the fire to keep them warm through the frigid night. Yuuri, meanwhile, was preoccupied with sketching silly doodles in Chito's journal, much to Chito's annoyance. "Hey, stop that!" Chito said, lightly smacking Yuuri on the head.

Yuuri: "Oww! fine," Yuuri replied, setting the journal down and rubbing her head dramatically. "Ne, It's getting really cold Chii-chan," Yuuri said, inching closer to the fire and rubbing her hands together. "Mmmm..... fire feels so nice and warm....."

Chito gave a soft hum of agreement, not looking up from the book in her hands. Her fingers traced over the words on the page, commiting them to memory before they too would be lost to the flames.

Yuuri: "Ne, Chii-chan, what are you reading about?" Yuuri asked, craning her neck to try and see.

Chito: "It's a book about different machines and how they work," Chito replied after a moment. She turned the page slowly. "This one talks about boats."

Yuuri: "Oooooh!" Yuuri's eyes lit up with interest. "Read it to me, read it to me!"

Chito: Smiling slightly at her enthusiasm. "Okay, okay, just let me finish this page first..."

Chito and Yuuri were trudging along a deserted highway when their Kettenkrad had hit something, veering off the road. There was a loud crash as it violently slammed into a concrete barrier.

Yuuri was jolted awake by the impact. She looked around in confusion at their supplies scattered across the ground, The Kettenkrad smoking from the crash, and Her body sinking in the snow. She tried to move but a sharp pain in her side made her gasp. Her mind felt foggy as she struggled to remember what happened.

Yuuri: Beside her, Chito lay unconscious, blood slowly pooling under her body. "Chii-chan!" Yuuri cried out, crawling over to Chito's limp form. "Chii-chan, wake up!" She shook Chito's shoulder gently but got no response. "Chii-chan! Wake up, wake up!" She starts shaking Chito frantically

Chito: groans softly, eyes fluttering open "Yuu...ri...?" Voice hoarse, coughing weakly, fresh blood trickling from her mouth "Wha...what happened...?"

Yuuri: Her senses Dreaded with uncertainty, trying to hold back her tears. "T-There was a crash! T-The Kettenkrad hit something! And N-now you're hurt! P-please don't die C-Chii-chan!"

Chito: Winces in pain, trying to get up. "H-hrngh.... Ah!" She stumbles back down "I-It's...it's okay Yuu. I'll be...be okay. We just...need to stop the bleeding...."

Yuuri: sniffling "O-Okay!" scrambles to find first aid kit "Here! I-I found bandages! What do I do??"

Chito: She guides Yuuri's hands "Press...press down on the wound." She grunts in agony as Yuuri pushes down "Ngh! K-Keep pressure...I'll be okay. Just...stay with me."

Yuuri: nodding tearfully "I'm here Chii-chan! Stay awake, you can't sleep!" She continues to apply pressure, blood coating her hands "Please, Please! don't leave me alone!"

Chito: Her eyes faltering, vision blurring "I'll try Yuu...I'll try..." fighting to keep her eyes open "T....Talk to me...keep me awake..."

Yuuri: Tears finally began streaming down her cheeks, muttering nonsensically with plead. "L-let's go to the beach again when you're better! W.....we can look for seashells...... an....And S..splash in the W-waves! Make sandcastles! I....I'll even c-cook a big fish feast! Just......stay with me Chii-chan...stay..."

Chito and Yuuri we're scavenging when they found themselves in a huge abandoned facility that remained sterile due to a lack of activity. Before them was a large computer console, cabinets filled to the brim with documents and journals, and glass overlooking a cavernous interior, spanning greater lengths and heights that were obscured in darkness.

Yuuri: *heedless of danger as always, haphazardly triggers a lever, opening a small array of light before them, revealing only a small sector. * "Whoaaaa.... Chii-Chan! look at that thing!"

Chito: hurried over, both girls now crowding the large glass window to take in the sight before them. It was a large Machine, ancient and dusty from disuse. Strange symbols and writing marked its hull that Chito could not decipher. She wondered who could have built such a technological marvel. "Yuuri, look at this! These documents are ancient, they must tell us something about this place." Chito flips through the dusty old journals while Yuuri continues to press her face against the glass, marveling at her hulking discovery.

Chito: Finally, She comes to a conclusion with the information written before her. "Hmm...it seems that the machine is called a Mech? And this place was called an arena....."

Yuuri: "Ne, ne! Chii-chan, can we turn it on? I wanna play with the robot!" Jumping up and down enthusiastically.

Chito: "Let's take a look around first before you go pushing any more buttons." Chito suggested diplomatically at Yuu's enthusiasm. "We wouldn't want to waste this place. It could be Shelter, a den full of supplies, a trove full of knowledge that holds untold secrets of the old world!" But couldn't help but share her enthusiasm too.

Yuuri: "Hehe! Nerdy Chii-chan!" She agrees with a tease. "Go ahead Chii-chan! I'll wait as you search the place!"
