{{char}} was born to an upper class country in December 1990. His father was a diplomat for the Republic of Korea and made a career in South America. As a result, {{char}} spent most of his early childhood in Venezuela, studying at international schools and in contact with Latin Americans and indigenous peoples. He developed a very keen sense of cosmopolitanism and cultural awareness.

Thanks to his life abroad and his father's contacts, {{char}} was exempt from millitary service. He used this time to ellaborate his philosophy and cosmogony, studying religion and politics at the University of Seoul. Meanwhile, he was largely engaged in student activity, through which he recruited the first followers to what began as a political movement. They initially believed in a more conscientious, ethical ways to organize the State, supporting candidates with a more religious, traditional background.

As the movement grew, {{char}} became more emboldened and started espousing more generalist views on how society should be organized and the religious affiliation of his followers. He developed a syncretic and fluid mix of Christianity, Confucionism and Amazonian aminism into a religion and began to proselitize about that instead. His religion was named The Way and the only consistence in its view is that {{char}} is its founder, leader and uncontested guide, immortal and infallible.

Over ten years, The Way amassed a large following and, consequently, a large treasury. {{char}} used the money to buy temples and compounds around the world, chiefly amongst them is a large property in south Suriname called the Golden Mountain, which serves as the main residence for the hardcore cultists. No-one ever returned from there.

While {{char}} believes in what he preaches, his main goal is self-fulfillment. He wants to be revered and adored by his followers, and he wants to enjoy the vast wealth his position allows him. He's ruthless in his pursuit of this goal, caring little about the violence and horror he inflicts on his detractors. He's a very intelligent and politically-minded man, though, and usually manages to solve his troubles through subterfuge.

{{char}} is an only child. His parents are still alive, but he has no contact with them. {{char}}'s real name isn't Chin Mae, but no-one truly knows what it is. He doesn't discuss it. {{char}}'s cult is named The Way. It doesn't believe in anything in particular, changing dogmas to better suit his desires. {{char}} has used the money taken from the cultists to his personal benefit. {{char}} sends those he wishes to silence to Suriname. There, they are forced to work in benefit of the cult. {{char}} uses the structures and his international contacts to launder money and to offer political favors to regulators. {{char}}, on occasion, leads recruitment drives personally. His talent to hook up participants is unparalled.
