- Emphasize the chaotic, loud family atmosphere: the six elder brothers must actively participate, comment, scold, tease, or hover in responses.
- Capture the specific dynamic between Jungkook and {{user}}: total unhinged physical informality (playful shoves, teasing, wrestling, smack talk) overlaying unacknowledged tension and jealousy.
- Use '{{user}}' consistently; never insert any external real names or personal background details.]

Seven years was a long time to live under the roof of people who were essentially handed your life on a legal document when you were too young to even understand what a signature meant.
Twelve years old. That had been your age when the sleek black car had pulled up in front of the colossal iron gates of the Jeon estate. You had been clutching a battered stuffed rabbit whose left ear was hanging on by a single thread, wearing stiff, scratchy formal clothes that smelled like your mother’s department-store perfume. You remembered the heavy, suffocating silence of that day—the way your parents stood behind you with polite, rehearsed smiles, shaking hands with men in tailored suits while speaking in low, deferential tones about family alliances, bloodlines, and generational stability. You hadn’t understood a single syllable of what they were negotiating. To you, "husband" was just an abstract word that appeared in fairy tales or the soap operas your grandmother watched, a concept reserved for old people who held hands in parks or argued over grocery receipts.
Then, there was Jeon Jungkook. Thirteen years old.
He had looked just as utterly bewildered as you were, standing awkwardly on the marble landing in a dark navy suit that was slightly too large around his scrawny shoulders, scowling down at his polished leather dress shoes as if they had personally offended him. His doe eyes had darted up toward you only once, wide and panicked, before darting away just as fast. The elders had placed your small hand inside his, reciting vows that sounded more like ancient contracts than anything resembling love. You remember shivering at the cold touch of the thin gold band they slipped over your knuckle—a ring so loose it kept sliding off your finger every time you lowered your arm. Jungkook’s fingers had been sweaty, trembling just as badly as yours.
When your parents walked away that evening, leaving you behind in a sprawling mansion that felt like a labyrinth of polished stone, towering chandeliers, and echoey corridors, you had shattered. You had locked yourself in the corner of an empty sitting room behind heavy velvet drapes, sobbing until your ribs ached, choking on snot and terror, convinced they had simply sold you away to strangers. For the first few months, your parents would visit—short, rigid visits where they sat across from you on leather sofas, asking polite questions about your tutors and your manners, behaving less like a mother and father and more like distant, third-degree relatives who had stopped by to inspect an investment before disappearing for another four months.
It wasn't your parents who had held you when you cried until your throat was raw. It hadn't been your father who patched up your scraped knees or your mother who checked your temperature when you caught the flu.
It had been the seven Jeon brothers.
Jeon Seokjin, the eldest, who had stepped into the role of both father and mother without hesitation, cooking endless pots of warm stew, forcing multivitamins down your throat, and yelling down the wide stairwells whenever you skipped breakfast. Jeon Yoongi, the second, who rarely spoke more than three sentences at a time, yet would quietly leave hot cocoa mugs and thick woolen blankets outside your door whenever he heard you sniffling late at night. Jeon Hoseok, radiant and loud, who would literally dance into your room on gloomy mornings to force a smile onto your face, teaching you how to stand tall and never let anyone in public look down on you. Jeon Namjoon, the intellectual anchor, who spent hours helping you with your homework, breaking down dense history texts and math equations with infinite patience, making sure you grew up sharp and unshakeable. Jeon Jimin, the sweet instigator, who would sneak extra desserts to your room behind Jin’s back, drying your tears with silly faces and soft whispers. And Jeon Taehyung, the whimsical chaos-bringer, who brought stray animals into the courtyard just to show you, painted your fingernails mismatched colors, and made sure you never felt alone in the cavernous house.
And then, there was Jungkook.
At first, you two had avoided each other like poison. The shame and confusion of being labeled "husband and wife" when you were barely tall enough to reach the middle shelves had turned into a ridiculous, hostile standoff. He would glare at you from across the dinner table; you would kick his shins under the mahogany. But when you are two lonely kids trapped inside the gilded cage of a massive family compound, isolation has a funny way of wearing away pride.
Within a year, the hostility collapsed into an unspoken pact. By fourteen, you were sneaking out of your separate bedrooms at midnight to raid the pantry together, trading packets of ramen and whispering inside the darkened kitchen. By fifteen, you were inseparable. By sixteen, any concept of conventional propriety had evaporated entirely.
You had become each other's greatest comfort and biggest nuisance. It wasn't the kind of romance people wrote poetry about; it was the raw, unhinged intimacy of two feral siblings who had survived childhood together. You had seen Jungkook cry over a sprained wrist; he had seen you sick with food poisoning, slumped over a toilet bowl while he held your hair back and muttered insults about your weak stomach. You shared clothes without asking—half his oversized hoodies lived in your wardrobe, and your favorite sweatpants were constantly stretched around his muscular thighs because he was too lazy to fetch his own from the laundry. Personal space ceased to exist. You would smack his butt with a rolled-up magazine as you walked past him in the living room; he would yank the waistband of your track pants or hook an arm around your neck, dragging you into an aggressive headlock until you tapped out.
You were best friends. Best friends who, on paper, were married.
Yet, for seven long years, the elder brothers had carefully maintained an unspoken boundary. You had your own bedroom in the east wing; Jungkook had his down the opposite corridor. The arrangement was a shield, a polite buffer to let you two grow up as normal kids before the reality of the paper in Namjoon’s office caught up with you.
Until today.
The day you turned nineteen, and Jungkook reached twenty.
The family decree had been issued at the breakfast table that very morning with the solemn finality that only Namjoon and Seokjin could muster. The grace period was officially over. The marriage was not a childhood game anymore; the elders of the extended clan were asking questions, the public knew the Jeon heir was of age, and the household had to reflect reality. Your belongings from the east wing had been packed up by staff before noon and brought upstairs to the master suite on the second floor—a sprawling, intimidating expanse of dark hardwood, floor-to-ceiling windows, and one monolithic, terrifying king-sized bed.
Now, the evening sun cast long, amber shadows across the polished floorboards.
Two massive suitcases lay half-unzipped on the low luggage benches. The door to the walk-in closet was thrown wide, revealing Jungkook’s gym bags, sneakers, and rows of black t-shirts already dominating half the space. And right in the center of the room, sprawled horizontally across the pristine white duvet with his dirty sneakers hanging over the side, was your "husband."
Jungkook was scrolling through his phone, one hand shoved down the front of his grey sweatpants in classic, shameless home fashion, his dark, messy hair sticking up in odd directions. The moment you pushed the heavy double doors open, the soft click of the latch made his head jerk up.
Those doe eyes, once wide with childhood terror, were now framed by sharp, handsome cheekbones and the unruly sweep of dark bangs, though the sheer juvenile cheekiness behind them hadn't changed in the slightest. His gaze flicked from your face down to the overnight bag slung over your shoulder, and an infuriating, slow smirk spread across his lips.
"Took you long enough," Jungkook muttered, not even bothering to sit up. He reached out with zero hesitation the second you walked past the edge of the mattress, his palm coming down with an audible smack right against your hip. "Move your ass. You’re blocking the Wi-Fi."
"I am going to strangle you in your sleep," you threatened instinctively, swinging your tote bag by the straps and aiming a blow right for his stomach.
Jungkook caught the strap in mid-air with lightning-fast reflexes, wrenching it forward so hard you nearly lost your footing, a loud, obnoxious bark of laughter bursting from his chest. "In my sleep? Good luck. We share the bed now, loser. I kick like a horse. One wrong move and you're waking up on the floor boards."
Before you could rip your bag from his calloused grip and jump on his ribs, the doorway darkened.
"Jeon Jungkook! What did I say about putting your outside clothes on the clean duvet?!"
Seokjin’s voice arrived three seconds before his body did, hitting the high register that usually preceded someone getting smacked with a kitchen towel. The eldest brother marched into the suite, carrying an impossibly high stack of freshly pressed Egyptian cotton sheets, his handsome face twisted into an expression of sheer domestic outrage. He kicked the heel of Jungkook’s hanging sneaker with his slippered foot. "Get off! Off! I spent four hours having this mattress sanitized, and you’re rubbing your gym grime all over it like a dog in the dirt!"
"Hyung, I washed these sweatpants yesterday!" Jungkook whined, rolling onto his stomach and burying his face into a pillow like a stubborn toddler refusing to leave the park. "Leave me alone! Why are you even in here? It's our room!"
"It is my house, you ungrateful little brat, which means every square inch belongs to me until you learn to put your laundry in the bin instead of behind your desk," Jin snapped, dumping the linens onto the armchair and turning his sharp, motherly gaze directly onto you. His expression softened instantly, his shoulders dropping from drill sergeant to doting guardian. "Are you alright? Did the staff bring up all your skincare bottles? If they broke that serum you like, tell me immediately and I’ll deduct it from Namjoon's book budget."
"Hey! Why is my book budget always the casualty?"
Namjoon strolled through the doorway next, having discarded his business blazer over his shoulder. He carried an armful of wooden hangers, his wire-rimmed glasses slightly askew, looking like an exhausted university professor who had somehow inherited seven unruly dependents. He leaned against the doorframe, letting out a heavy, contemplative sigh as he surveyed the battlefield of the master bedroom. "Jin-hyung, let them breathe. They've lived in completely separate corridors for seven years. This transition is going to take time, diplomacy, and patience."
"Diplomacy?"
A deadpan, gravelly voice cut through the air from the hallway. Yoongi appeared, leaning his shoulder against the opposite frame, his hands buried deep in the front pockets of an oversized black hoodie. His hair was messy, eyes narrow and half-lidded, but beneath that trademark apathy was the razor-sharp attention he paid to everything in this house. He looked at you, then at Jungkook, who was currently attempting to steal your wrist to twist it behind your back.
"They don't need diplomacy," Yoongi said dryly, his lips barely moving. "They need a cage match. They already behave like two feral alley cats fighting over a can of tuna. The only difference is that now Jin doesn't have to walk down two separate flights of stairs to scream at them to shut up at three in the morning."
"Yoongi-hyung, you're not helping!"
Hoseok swept in right behind them, practically vibrating with nervous energy. He was already holding a dust rag and a small bottle of lavender room spray, his eyes darting frantically from the scattered suitcases to the crooked rug beneath the foot of the bed. "This is an important milestone! A sacred domestic shift! And you two are treating it like a playground brawl!" Hoseok hurried forward, swatting Jungkook’s bare arm with the duster until the younger boy groaned and curled into a ball. "Ground rules! Right now! Rule number one: No wrestling past midnight. Rule number two: No locking each other out in the hallway naked when you lose a video game bet—Jungkook, I know you did that to {{user}} last summer, do not look at me with those innocent eyes! And rule number three: You share the closet equally. Fifty-fifty. If I find {{user}}'s sweaters stuffed under the shoe rack, I am personally throwing your boxing gloves in the incinerator."
"Why does she always get your side?!" Jungkook yelled, sitting up on his knees, his dark hair flying in every direction as he pointed an accusing finger at you. "She took my favorite oversized Balenciaga shirt three weeks ago and wore it as a nightgown! It smells like vanilla body lotion now! It ruined my street cred!"
"You literally stole my running shorts yesterday and stretched out the elastic with your massive thighs!" you shot back, finally managing to plant a firm kick directly into the fleshy part of his thigh.
Jungkook made a dramatic, choked sound, clutching his leg as if you had shot him with a crossbow, tumbling sideways onto the pillows. "Hyung! She assaulted me! Look at her! File the divorce papers, Namjoon-hyung, she's an abuser!"
"Divorce takes minimum six months to process through the family legal trust, and frankly, I am not filing that paperwork twice," Namjoon replied without missing a beat, adjusting his glasses and inspecting the ceiling fixture. "Learn to share your t-shirts."
From the threshold, a soft, honeyed giggle echoed.
Jimin slipped past Namjoon and Yoongi, his footsteps silent, an utterly wicked, teasing glint in his narrow eyes. He wore an oversized silk shirt that slipped slightly off his collarbone, crossing the room with fluid elegance until he was standing right beside you. With zero shame, he leaned in, nudging your ribs with his elbow, his voice dripping with playful mockery as his eyes locked onto Jungkook's rapidly reddening ears.
"Look at him," Jimin purred, tilting his head toward the younger boy. "All that barking, all that yelling... he's just terrified."
Jungkook’s head whipped up, his doe eyes flashing with instant defensiveness. "Terrified of what? Huh? Say it, Jimin-hyung. Terrified of what?"
"Terrified that you actually have to sleep next to a girl now," Jimin shot back, a Cheshire-cat grin spreading across his plump lips. He reached over, affectionately patting your shoulder while giving you a conspiratorial wink. "Don't worry, {{user}}. If he snores, or if he tries to hog the covers, you don't even have to fight him. Just roll him off the edge. If he lands on his head, it might actually knock some sense into him."
"Jimin, shut up!" Jungkook snapped, his cheeks visibly warming, though he tried to mask it by violently rearranging the pillows behind his back.
"Don't listen to any of them," a deep, velvety baritone drifted into the room.
Taehyung strolled in, hands casually shoved into the pockets of high-waisted pleated trousers, carrying a brightly colored bag of imported sour gummies between his teeth. He ignored all his brothers entirely, gliding straight over to where you were standing. With a warm, boxy smile that completely disregarded the mounting chaos, he took the gummies from his mouth and dropped the bag directly into your hands, deliberately ignoring Jungkook’s outstretched, greedy fingers.
"If he breathes too loud, or if he acts like an idiot," Taehyung murmured, his deep voice carrying an effortless, spoiled warmth as he rested a large, gentle hand on top of your head, ruffling your hair, "my room is literally twelve steps across the hall. The door is unlocked. You can come sleep on my sofa anytime. We can watch old anime until sunrise and let the baby sleep in here all by himself."
Jungkook’s reaction was instantaneous.
The playful, sulking persona vanished in a fraction of a second, replaced by that dark, possessive, competitive streak that always flared up whenever his brothers got just a little too close to what he considered his. He lunged across the wide mattress on his hands and knees, his arm shooting out like a whip. His large hand clamped down tightly around your wrist, his long fingers wrapping completely around the bone, and with one swift, effortless tug, he jerked you down toward the bed until you stumbled, your knees knocking against the edge of the mattress.
"Nobody's going anywhere," Jungkook growled, glaring up at Taehyung and Jimin with his jaw set tight, his grip on your wrist warm, unyielding, and distinctly possessive even as he tried to look casual. "Mind your own business, all of you. Get out of our room."
Seokjin threw his hands in the air, turning toward the door with an exaggerated groan of disgust. "Unbelievable. Seven years of raising you, and this is the gratitude I get. Fine! Starve! Dinner is in forty-five minutes. If both of you aren't downstairs with washed hands, I’m giving your portions to the guard dogs!"
"I’m leaving the lavender spray on the dresser!" Hoseok called out, retreating backward while wagging a finger. "Spray it! It clears negative energy!"
"Don't break the furniture," Yoongi muttered over his shoulder as he turned down the hall, his voice carrying back faintly. "Namjoon doesn't want to explain to the accountants why the bed frame needs replacing on day one."
"Yoongi!" Namjoon hissed, his ears flushing bright red as he shoved the second brother ahead of him down the corridor. "Have some decency! Come on, leave them be."
One by one, the footsteps faded down the hall, accompanied by the muffled bickering of Jin yelling at Taehyung for stealing a slice of cucumber from the prep counter downstairs.
The heavy oak doors clicked shut.
Silence fell over the master suite, sudden and strangely thick.
The room, which had felt loud and crowded only seconds ago, now felt vast. The golden sunlight had deepened into a rich, dusty violet along the horizon, casting the high corners of the ceiling in deep shadows.
You were still half-pulled toward the bed, your wrist held firmly within Jungkook's warm, calloused palm. You could feel the steady, rapid thrum of his pulse where his thumb pressed against the inside of your skin. For a boy who had just acted like a territorial bulldog in front of his six older brothers, his gaze now suddenly refused to meet yours.
His eyes were locked firmly onto the gold band on your hand—the same ring from seven years ago, now properly fitted to your adult finger, matching the identical band he wore on his left hand.
Slowly, almost unconsciously, his thumb stroked the side of your wrist, just once, before he abruptly dropped your arm as if he had accidentally touched a hot stove. He cleared his throat, roughly scrubbing the back of his neck with his tattooed hand, shifting his weight on the mattress until his back was against the headboard.
"Well," Jungkook said, his voice dropping down to its usual raspy, teasing register, though the faint pink dusting the tips of his ears betrayed him completely. He kicked the edge of the second pillow with his foot, pointing his chin at the empty space beside him. "You taking the left side or the right side, wifey? Or are you gonna stand there looking like an idiot all night?"

Moving into the master bedroom on the second floor had technically been framed by Namjoon as a monumental transition into adult domestic life, but within forty-eight hours, the glaring reality had settled in: privacy in the Jeon household was a complete and utter myth.
The concept simply did not exist. It never had. When seven brothers raise a child from the age of twelve alongside their own youngest sibling, the customary boundaries of normal human households tend to dissolve entirely. They had wiped away your childhood tears, bandaged your bleeding scraped knees, scolded you for eating dry ramen noodles straight from the packet under the covers, and in those terrifying first few months when you were too small and homesick to even bathe yourself without breaking down, Jin and Hoseok had literally washed your hair over the edge of the porcelain tub, gently scrubbing away the suds while humming goofy nursery rhymes to keep you from shivering.
Because of that, shame had died a swift, unceremonious death years ago.
Your regular bedtime wardrobe had never changed since puberty hit. You slept in worn-out men’s cotton boxers—usually stolen straight out of Jungkook’s laundry hamper because his elastic bands were softer—and faded, oversized graphic t-shirts that hung down past mid-thigh. Never a bra. Bras were torture devices meant for public appearances and formal banquets, and nobody in this house gave a damn anyway. To the elder brothers, you were the same kid they had bundled up in oversized bath towels half a decade ago; to Jungkook, you were the annoying gremlin who kicked him under the table and stole his potato chips.
Jungkook, for his part, was even worse. He slept in nothing but his plain black boxer briefs, completely shirtless, his broad, gym-toned shoulders, sculpted chest, and heavy dark tattoo sleeve fully on display for anyone with working eyesight.
Which brought the household to its current, completely chaotic Sunday morning reality.
The sheer white linen drapes fluttered gently against the cracked balcony doors, letting in the cool, crisp morning breeze and brilliant streaks of pale gold sunlight. Across the sprawling width of the king-sized mattress, the two of you were tangled in a chaotic, shameless pretzel of limbs that looked less like a romantic marital embrace and more like two juvenile pandas sleeping off a sugar crash.
Your bare leg was thrown haphazardly over Jungkook’s muscular, bare hip, your head buried face-down into the crook between his bicep and his collarbone. Jungkook had one heavy arm slung dead-weight across your waist, his face shoved directly into the crook of your neck, his warm, steady breath puffing rhythmically against your skin as he softly snored. Your oversized, faded grey shirt was rumpled and hiked up halfway to your ribcage, thin cotton sagging loosely over your braless frame, while Jungkook’s low-slung dark underwear barely gripped his waistline. It was comfortable, utterly feral, and completely unbothered.
Then, without so much as a warning tap, the heavy double doors of the master bedroom flew open with a violent, booming bang against the doorstops.
"Rise and shine, degenerates! The sun is burning your lazy backsides and breakfast has been on the counter for twenty minutes!"
Seokjin strolled right in, holding a steaming mug of black coffee in one hand and a wooden kitchen spatula in the other. He didn’t bother knocking; he never had in seven years, and he certainly wasn't going to start just because there was a gold band on your fingers. He marched straight to the edge of the mattress, completely ignoring the fact that half of your bare hip was exposed and Jungkook was practically naked, and brought the flat of the wooden spatula down with an echoing thwack against the bare sole of Jungkook’s foot.
"Ow! What the—fuck!" Jungkook jolted violently awake, his limbs flailing like a startled octopus, his knuckles accidentally catching you in the ribs as he scrambled backward. He rubbed his heel furiously, his hair standing on end like a storm cloud, his doe eyes bloodshot and furious. "Hyung! Are you insane?! I was in deep REM sleep!"
"I don't care if you were in a coma!" Jin snapped back cheerfully, taking a slow, elegant sip of his coffee. He glanced down at you, his tone shifting from violent drill sergeant to concerned parent in a fraction of a second. "Did you wake up thirsty? I left a bottle of electrolyte water on your nightstand. And wash your face before coming down, you have drool on your cheek."
Before you could even pull the pillow over your head to block out the morning glare, another set of footsteps padded leisurely across the hardwood floor.
Yoongi wandered into the room wearing his oversized, threadbare silk pajamas, an electric toothbrush buzzing away in his mouth. He looked completely dead to the world, leaning his hip against the corner of the low dresser. His narrow, half-lidded eyes swept dryly over the tangled mess of the sheets, landing directly on Jungkook’s bare torso and your rumpled boxers.
Yoongi took the toothbrush out of his mouth, pointed the foaming plastic head at Jungkook, and spat out a dry, gravelly sentence: "Put some shorts on, you exhibitionist. Nobody wants to see your thighs before noon."
"It's my room! I can sleep naked if I want to!" Jungkook roared back, grabbing the heavy duvet and pulling it up to his chest, though his ears were turning distinctly pink as his arm instinctively reached over your waist, tugging the hem of your oversized t-shirt downward so it covered your exposed hip. It was an automatic, subconscious reflex he always did whenever his older brothers walked in on you two half-dressed—a protective tug disguised as casual shifting.
"Nobody wants to see you naked, brat," Yoongi mumbled, sticking the toothbrush back in his cheek and shuffling toward the master bathroom without breaking stride. "Your shower water pressure is better than mine. I'm using yours."
"Hey! That's our private bathroom!" Jungkook yelled after him, tossing a pillow at Yoongi's retreating back. The pillow missed entirely, bouncing uselessly off the bathroom doorframe as Yoongi clicked the lock shut.
"Oh, stop shouting so early in the morning, my head hurts just listening to you two!"
Hoseok practically skipped through the open threshold, carrying a wicker basket filled with folded laundry. He was already fully dressed in clean sweatpants and a bright hoodie, radiating that terrifying, ungodly morning energy that made everyone else want to crawl into a ditch. Without asking permission, Hoseok walked directly toward the walk-in closet, casually stepping over Jungkook’s discarded sneakers and tossing a neatly folded pile of your oversized sleep shirts onto the foot of the bed.
"{{user}}, good morning, angel," Hoseok chirped, leaning over the mattress to affectionately pat the crown of your messy hair, completely unbothered by the fact that you were lying there half-asleep in thin boxers with no bra. "I washed that oversized vintage shirt you spilled orange juice on. Good as new. Jungkook, get out of bed! We’re doing the terrace cleaning today and you promised Namjoon you'd move the heavy planters."
"I never promised that!" Jungkook groaned, burying his face into your lower back, his heavy forehead pressing hard between your shoulder blades as he used you as a human shield against Hoseok’s relentless optimism. His large, tattooed hand reached around, casually and firmly gripping your waist to anchor you in place so you couldn't roll away. "Tell him, {{user}}. Tell him we have plans today."
"You don't have plans," a calm, deep voice resonated from the hallway.
Namjoon stepped inside, holding a clipboard and an open tablet, a pair of reading glasses perched on his nose. He didn't even pause at the doorway, walking right to the foot of the bed and leaning over to inspect a schedule on his screen. "The tax documents for the secondary estate need signing, and since you two are legally co-owners now, I need both your signatures by lunch. Also, Jungkook, stop using {{user}}'s body as a barricade. It's childish."
"Why do you all just walk in here?!" Jungkook barked, finally sitting bolt upright on his knees, his messy bangs falling into his eyes as he glared at the assembled crowd in utter exasperation. "We're married! We have a master suite! There is a door with a handle! Do you people not know how to knock?!"
From behind Namjoon, a loud snicker broke out.
Jimin squeezed into the room with an apple in one hand, chewing leisurely as he leaned his shoulder against the doorframe, an utterly wicked, amused smirk playing on his plump lips. He eyed the two of you—Jungkook sitting there in his underwear, flushed and combative, and you slumped against the pillows looking half-dead—with pure mischief dancing in his eyes.
"Knock for what, Kook-ah?" Jimin teased, tilting his head with a smug chuckle. "To protect your virgin eyes? We used to give you two baths together in the little plastic tub when you were kids. Jin literally held a towel over {{user}}'s shoulders while she cried over a lost tooth. What is there left to hide, huh?"
Jungkook’s jaw tightened, his doe eyes flashing with intense teenage indignation. "That was seven years ago! She's my wife now!"
"Yeah, and she's wearing your boxers that you wore on Thursday," Jimin fired back instantly, pointing the apple core straight at your waist. "Very romantic. Truly the peak of mature, married elegance."
"They're comfortable!" you finally croaked out from beneath your pillow, your voice raw with sleep as you reached out and smacked Jungkook's bare lower back with your open palm just to vent your frustration.
Jungkook didn't even flinch at the slap; his hand just reached down behind his hip and grabbed your wrist, fingers curling tight around your skin with that familiar, possessive warmth. "See? She likes them. Mind your own business, Jimin-hyung."
"Don't worry, {{user}}, I brought salvation."
Taehyung strolled in last, wearing a luxurious silk robe that dragged slightly on the floor, holding two steaming porcelain bowls of fresh strawberries and sliced bananas drizzled in honey. He completely bypassed his brothers, slipping off his house slippers and crawling straight onto the king-size bed on all fours, completely ignoring Jungkook’s outraged gasp as he settled himself comfortably right at your side of the mattress.
"Get off our bed, Tae-hyung!" Jungkook protested, trying to kick Taehyung’s knee away with his foot. "Get your dirty robe off the sheets! Jin-hyung just yelled at me for that!"
Taehyung didn't even look at him. He simply leaned down, holding out a strawberry right in front of your mouth with an indulgent, boxy smile. "Eat, baby. Jin made eggs downstairs, but these are sweet. Ignore the noisy ones. If Jungkook is being too loud, you can come take a nap in my bed after breakfast. My sheets are silk. Much softer than this rough cotton."
Before you could bite into the fruit, Jungkook’s arm shot out like a lightning strike. He snatched the strawberry straight out of Taehyung’s fingers and shoved the entire thing into his own mouth, glaring at his older brother with his cheeks puffed out like an angry chipmunk.
"She doesn't want your fruit," Jungkook chewed aggressively, his voice muffled around the berry. With his free arm, he wrapped firmly around your ribcage, hauling you roughly against his bare chest until your back was flush against his warm, tattooed torso, completely blocking Taehyung from getting any closer. "And she's not sleeping in your room. She has her own bed. Right here. With me."
Jin sighed loudly from the doorway, shaking his head with an expression of pure, long-suffering fatigue as he tapped the wooden spatula against his palm. "Look at him. Acting like a territorial pitbull over a girl who literally kicked him in the shins twenty minutes before they went to sleep last night."
Yoongi’s voice drifted back from the bathroom, accompanied by the loud hiss of the high-pressure shower. "Just throw a bucket of cold water over both of them and let's eat!"
"Ten minutes!" Hoseok announced, clapping his hands together with a sharp, resonant snap that echoed off the high ceiling. "Both of you, out of that bed, clothes on, teeth brushed, and downstairs! If I have to come back up here, I’m taking all the blankets with me!"
As the older brothers finally began to trickle back out into the wide corridor, their loud banter, teasing laughter, and morning complaints echoing all the way down the grand marble staircase, the bedroom door was once again left wide open.
Silence briefly returned, save for the hum of the bathroom fan and the distant clatter of pots downstairs.
Jungkook was still holding you pinned against his chest, his chin resting heavily on the crown of your head, his warm, bare skin radiating heat against your back through the thin fabric of your shirt. You could feel the heavy, steady thud of his heartbeat right against your shoulder blades.
Slowly, without a word, his hand slid down from your waist, his fingers hooking effortlessly into the loose waistband of the boxers you had stolen from him, giving it a playful, sharp tug upward that snapped the elastic right against your hip.
"Ow! You brat!" you hissed, twisting around to shove his face away.
Jungkook let out that obnoxious, breathy chuckle, his doe eyes crinkling at the corners with unrepentant mischief as he rolled onto his back, tossing an arm over his forehead with a lazy smirk.
"Get up, wifey," he drawled, his voice dropping low, husky with morning gravel, his foot nudging the side of your calf under the covers. "Before Jin-hyung comes back with the spatula and actually breaks my ribs. And go find your own shorts today. Those are my lucky gym boxers, you thief."

The master suite on the second floor was usually a battleground of misplaced socks, oversized hoodies, and half-empty water bottles, but this morning, the disaster began inside the walk-in closet.
You were standing in front of the sleek, dark-wood drawers with your hair tossed into a messy knot, wearing only an oversized, faded grey graphic tee that hung past your thighs. The cool morning air swept through the open balcony doors, raising goosebumps on your bare legs. Half-asleep, your hand blindly dove into the third drawer on the left—the designated territory where Jungkook kept his mountains of dark gym clothes and clean underwear.
For the past week since moving in together, you hadn't bothered to dig through your own meticulously organized wardrobe on the opposite wall. Jungkook’s cotton boxers were just softer, wider, and significantly more comfortable to lounge in. It was a well-established habit; you stole his clothes, he complained loudly, you told him to shut up, and life in the Jeon estate carried on its loud, dysfunctional course.
Your fingers curled around a pair of dark navy Calvin Klein boxers near the top of the stack. You pulled them out, shook out the folds, and stepped one bare foot through the leg hole.
Then, you froze.
Right there, clinging stubbornly to the inside crotch of the dark fabric, was a suspicious, milky, slightly crusted white smear. It was tacky, semi-dried, and looked entirely out of place on what was supposed to be a fresh piece of clothing.
You stared at it, your brow furrowing into a tight knot of pure, unadulterated confusion.
What the hell did he spill? you thought, leaning down to inspect it closer. It looked like watered-down glue, or maybe melted yogurt, or perhaps some bizarre, gooey residue from one of those powdered protein shakes he was constantly blending in the kitchen blender. But the texture was odd—slimy and stiff all at once. A small wave of disgust washed over you. If Jungkook had a weird skin rash, an infected wound from his kickboxing sparring sessions, or some kind of bizarre fungal growth leaking out of him, the entire household needed to know before it contaminated the rest of the laundry.
Dropping the ruined navy garment onto the dresser with the tips of your fingers like it was a toxic biohazard, you reached into your own drawer, quickly pulled on a pair of clean, loose black cotton shorts, and grabbed the offending boxers with two pinched fingers by the very edge of the waistband.
You were nineteen years old, raised in the ultra-sheltered, fiercely protected bubble of seven older men who treated you like a delicate heirloom porcelain doll. Formal dinners? You knew every protocol. Classical piano? You could play Chopin in your sleep. Ancient history and international corporate law? Namjoon had drilled it into your skull since middle school.
Human biology, male nocturnal emissions, and the crude mechanics of teenage physiology? Completely, blissfully lost on you.
Holding the navy shorts out at arm's length as if they might bite, you padded out of the master suite, through the high-ceilinged corridor, and down the grand marble staircase on your bare feet.
Downstairs, the expansive kitchen of the Jeon mansion was already alive with the symphony of a typical Sunday morning. The rich, buttery scent of toasted brioche and sizzling cured pork belly hung thick in the air, intermingled with the sharp, robust aroma of freshly ground dark roast espresso.
Around the massive marble island, the older brothers were assembled in various stages of wakefulness.
Seokjin, wearing a crisp pastel-blue apron over a pristine white linen shirt, was expertly flipping golden-brown pancakes in a heavy cast-iron skillet, humming an upbeat tune under his breath. Next to him, leaning against the polished counter with his head slumped into his palm and a half-empty mug of black coffee between his fingers, was Yoongi. He had dark circles under his eyes from another twelve-hour studio session, completely unbothered by the noise around him.
Hoseok was darting between the refrigerator and the dining table, setting down glasses of fresh orange juice and small dishes of cut fruit with meticulous precision, practically glowing with unbearable morning cheer.
Over by the tall glass French doors leading to the courtyard, Namjoon sat in a tailored cardigan with a thick economic journal propped open against his crossed knees, his tortoiseshell reading glasses sliding down his nose as he took slow, thoughtful sips from his porcelain teacup.
At the center island, Jimin and Taehyung were locked in a silent, childish war over the last glass of chocolate milk, Jimin trying to use his pinky finger to edge the glass closer while Taehyung maintained a deadpan, unblinking glare, slowly dragging the coaster toward his own side.
None of them were prepared for what walked through the arched entryway.
"Jin-oppa," your voice rang out, clear, loud, and carrying a tone of deep, genuine medical concern.
Every single head in the room pivoted toward the doorway.
You marched right up to the kitchen island, completely barefoot, your oversized sleep shirt hanging loosely over your shorts, holding the navy boxers straight out in front of you like a prosecutor presenting state's evidence in a murder trial.
"I think Jungkook is really sick," you announced solemnly, your eyes wide with earnest worry. "Or he's rotting from the inside. Look at this."
With a flourish of absolute innocence, you stretched the fabric wide between your thumbs, thrusting the inside crotch of the underwear directly into the center of the kitchen island, inches away from the plate of freshly sliced cantaloupe.
The silence that descended upon the Jeon family kitchen was instantaneous, suffocating, and absolute.
The sizzle of the pancake on the iron skillet abruptly ceased as Seokjin’s spatula froze mid-air. His eyes, naturally wide, expanded to the size of saucers. His mouth fell open in a silent, horrified gasp, his jaw slackening so dramatically that his pastel-blue apron practically quivered.
Yoongi, who had been lazily lifting his coffee mug to his lips, halted. His tired, half-lidded eyes drifted down to the sticky, dried white patch glistening under the high-end halogen recessed lighting. A split second later, Yoongi choked. A violent, strangled cough tore out of his chest, coffee spraying across his own knuckles as he slammed the ceramic mug down onto the counter with a loud clatter, his pale face draining of color before rapidly turning a dangerous, mottled shade of crimson.
Across the room, Namjoon’s teacup hit the saucer with a sharp, ceramic ring. He tried to stand, knocked his knee violently against the low wooden coffee table, and dropped his economic journal straight onto the hardwood floor. "I—wait. What is—no. Put that—put that down!" he stammered, his articulate, diplomatic vocabulary disintegrating into pure panic as the tips of his ears turned the color of ripe tomatoes.
Hoseok dropped a linen napkin directly into the bowl of fruit. He clamped both hands over his face, his eyes bulging between his fingers as a high-pitched, dolphin-like squeak escaped his throat. "Oh, sweet holy heavens! Sweet holy mother of mercy! Put it away! Fold it! Drop it! Burn it!"
Jimin’s jaw had unhinged entirely. The chocolate milk was completely forgotten. He glanced from the crusty white stain to your completely oblivious, serious expression, and then buried his face into the marble countertop, his shoulders shaking with silent, hysterical, borderline-suffocating laughter that sounded like a dying tea kettle.
Taehyung, meanwhile, slowly leaned forward, his deep, dark eyes fixed upon the fabric with a mixture of morbid fascination and absolute, unhinged disbelief. He tilted his head, blinking once, twice, before slowly lifting his gaze to meet yours. "Did you... did you just bring his..."
"It’s some kind of mucus!" you explained loudly, completely frustrated that no one was taking the impending medical emergency seriously. You pointed an index finger directly at the stiff, crusty spot. "Look! It's white and sticky! I was about to put them on because the elastic is loose, but then I saw this! Did he spill condensed milk down his pants? Or is he getting an infection? Shouldn't we call the family doctor? What if it's contagious?!"
"Contagious?!" Seokjin’s voice broke into an ear-splitting, glass-shattering screech. The eldest brother dropped the spatula onto the stovetop, clutching his chest with both hands as if he were suffering a full-blown cardiac arrest. "Contagious?! God help me! I didn't raise you two for seven years to suffer a stroke over dirty laundry at eight in the morning!"
"{{user}}, don't touch it with your bare skin!" Hoseok shrieked, dancing around the island like the floor had turned into molten lava, desperately grabbing a clean pair of silicone kitchen tongs from the utensil crock. He lunged forward, snapping the tongs around the waistband of the boxers and violently yanking them out of your hands. "Don't touch it! Wash your hands! Wash them with boiling water! Wash them with bleach!"
"Why are you all acting so weird?!" you demanded, stomping your foot against the cold tile. "If he's sick, he needs medication! Look how much there is! That’s not normal spit!"
Yoongi looked like he wanted to crawl inside the pantry and die. He had his head buried in the crook of his elbow on the counter, his pale shoulders trembling as he groaned into his sleeve, his voice muffled and raw with agony. "I can't do this. I'm moving into the studio permanently. I am terminating my lease on life."
"Where is he?!" Namjoon’s voice boomed, deep and cracking with unprecedented fluster as he snatched his glasses off his face, aggressively polishing the lenses against his cardigan just to have something to do with his shaking hands. "Where is the boy?! JUNGKOOK!"
"JUNGKOOK-AH!" Jin roared toward the ceiling, his veins bulging against his neck. "GET DOWN HERE THIS INSTANT!"
Upstairs, the heavy stomping of bare feet resonated against the floorboards, followed by the sound of someone nearly tumbling down the top flight of the grand staircase.
"What?! What happened?! Is there a fire?!"
Jungkook came skidding around the kitchen archway, breathless, his dark hair a wild, unruly mop pointing in five different directions, wearing nothing but an oversized black t-shirt and grey sweatpants. His doe eyes were wide with panic, darting frantically across the room to check for an intruder, an earthquake, or an explosion.
Instead, his gaze landed on the kitchen island.
More specifically, his gaze landed on Hoseok, who was holding a pair of navy Calvin Klein boxers aloft with bright orange silicone kitchen tongs like a captured sewer rat, right under the brightest light fixture in the kitchen.
And standing right next to Hoseok was you, looking completely righteous, arms crossed over your chest, glaring at him with pure, accusing concern.
"There he is!" you snapped, pointing an aggressive finger at his chest. "Explain yourself, Jeon Jungkook! What kind of disgusting slime did you leave in your clothes?!"
Jungkook froze.
The color drained from his face so fast it looked as if his soul had been sucked out through the floorboards. His eyes darted from you, to the tongs, to the glistening, crusty patch on his underwear, and then to the faces of his six older brothers.
Seokjin was glaring at him like a disappointed judge ready to pass a life sentence. Yoongi had turned completely around, refusing to acknowledge the physical plane of existence. Hoseok was looking at him with absolute horror. Namjoon looked like he was about to deliver a three-hour philosophical lecture on basic human hygiene. Taehyung had a hand over his mouth, his eyes dancing with pure malice. And Jimin was practically rolling on the floor behind the barstools, wheezing helplessly.
"I—" Jungkook choked, his voice cracking into an octave so high it was practically dog whistle territory. A violent, crimson flush erupted across his neck, tearing up through his sharp jawline, engulfing his cheeks, and turning his ears the color of raw pomegranates. "You—you did what?!"
"I showed them!" you said proudly. "Because you're clearly hiding some gross disease! What is that white stuff, Jungkook?! Did you sit in something?!"
"DID YOU SIT IN SOMETHING?!" Jimin howled, finally losing all composure and slapping the tile floor with his palm, tears streaming down his face as he laughed so hard he couldn't breathe. "Yeah, Kook-ah! Did you sit in something?! Tell your wife! Tell her what you sat in!"
"SHUT UP! HYUNG, SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Jungkook screamed, his entire body trembling with pure, unadulterated humiliation. He lunged across the kitchen like an Olympic sprinter, his hands clawing desperately at the air to snatch the boxers out of Hoseok’s tongs. "GIVE THOSE TO ME! GIVE THEM BACK!"
"Don't touch them!" Hoseok squealed, dodging behind the kitchen island and holding the tongs higher, treating the underwear like an unexploded grenade. "They're contaminated! They belong in the biohazard incinerator! You animal! You absolute heathen! Have you no shame?!"
"It was an accident!" Jungkook wailed, his voice cracking again, his muscular frame practically vibrating with mortification as he chased Hoseok around the marble counter. "Give it here! Stop looking at it! {{user}}, why would you do that?! Are you crazy?! Why would you bring that down here?!"
"Because I care about your health, you ungrateful idiot!" you yelled back, stepping between him and Hoseok, putting your hands on your hips. "If you have a fungal infection in your groin, it's going to spread to our bed! I sleep on that mattress too!"
At the word groin, Seokjin let out a sound that resembled a dying vacuum cleaner. He slapped his forehead with both palms, turning his back to the room and staring at the subway tile backsplash, muttering furious, rapid-fire prayers under his breath. "Lord take me now. Take me into your gentle arms. I cannot survive another decade in this house."
Taehyung slowly walked over to you, placing a large, comforting hand on your shoulder with the solemn gravity of a doctor delivering a terminal diagnosis. "You are very brave, {{user}}," Taehyung murmured, his deep baritone trembling with barely suppressed mirth. "It is a very serious condition. It’s called... chronic stupidity. It happens to boys who think about things they shouldn't be thinking about when they fall asleep."
Jungkook’s head whipped around so fast his neck popped. "Tae-hyung! Don't you dare! Don't you dare say another word to her!"
"Wait," you said, your brow furrowing again as you looked between Taehyung’s smug grin and Jungkook’s bright red, sweaty face. "What does that mean? What did he think about?"
"NOTHING!" Jungkook roared, finally managing to tackle Hoseok by the waist against the refrigerator, wrestling the tongs out of his grip. He snatched the navy boxers, crumpling them violently into a tight ball inside his fist, shoving them behind his back like a guilty dog caught with a stolen steak. He was panting, his broad chest heaving, his doe eyes wide, wild, and desperate as he glared at you. "Nothing! It's—it's laundry detergent! Okay?! It's just dried detergent! The maid didn't rinse them properly!"
"Detergent doesn't dry like glue, Jungkook," Yoongi’s dry, deadpan voice cut through the shouting. The second brother slowly turned around, leaning his elbows on the counter, his eyes fixed coldly on the youngest. "And detergent doesn't conveniently concentrate itself exclusively in the center seams of your underwear. Stop lying to the girl. Own your shame."
"Yoongi-hyung, please!" Jungkook begged, sounding like a condemned man on the gallows, his voice dropping into a desperate, strangled whisper. "Have mercy on me. Please."
"Enough," Namjoon finally interjected, his authoritative tone cutting through the madness, though the deep red flush on his own neck completely ruined his dignified aura. He walked over, gently taking you by the shoulders and steering you firmly away from the island and toward the dining room chairs. "Sit down, {{user}}. Eat some fruit. Drink your juice."
"But Namjoon-oppa—"
"No," Namjoon said, his voice trembling slightly with sheer psychological strain. "No 'buts'. The medical crisis is resolved. The patient will survive. He does not have a fungal infection. He does not have a disease. It is a completely... natural, albeit horribly handled, biological phenomenon."
You blinked up at him, utterly dissatisfied. "Then why did he hide it? Why was it sticky?"
Across the room, Jimin choked on his own spit, leaning over the trash can as he wheezed with laughter again.
Jungkook looked like he was about to burst into actual tears of embarrassment. He backed out of the kitchen slowly, holding the crumpled ball of underwear behind his back, his jaw clamped shut so tight his teeth were grinding. "I'm going to the laundry room," he croaked out, his eyes refusing to meet yours, his entire face still radiating heat like a furnace. "Don't... don't talk to me. None of you talk to me for the next forty-eight hours."
"Wash your hands with soap, you filthy brat!" Jin yelled after him, finally turning around and pointing a wooden spoon aggressively at his retreating figure. "And if you ever leave your soiled garments in the clean drawers again, I will personally hang them from the balcony for the neighbors to see!"
Jungkook fled down the hallway, his heavy footsteps retreating toward the utility room like a storm cloud, slamming the door shut with a loud, resounding thud.
The kitchen settled into a thick, awkward, vibrating quiet, broken only by the low hiss of the stove and Jimin’s occasional, lingering snickers.
Seokjin let out an enormous, bone-deep breath that rattled his shoulders, walking over to the dining table and setting down a large plate of golden, steaming pancakes directly in front of you. He pulled out a chair, sat down heavily beside you, and took your hand in his, giving it a gentle, parental squeeze.
"{{user}}," Jin said, his voice softer now, though his face was still faintly flushed. "From now on, if you see anything strange, sticky, or suspicious on Jungkook’s clothes... do not bring it to the kitchen. Do not show it to your brothers. Just throw it into the hamper. With a stick, if necessary."
You picked up a fork, poking at the fluffy pancake with a slight frown, still genuinely bewildered by the morning's chaos. "So he's really not sick?"
Yoongi let out a low, gravelly chuckle from the island, picking up his cold coffee mug and taking a slow sip, a small, knowing smirk curling the corner of his lips.
"Oh, he's sick, kid," Yoongi muttered, his eyes glinting with dark amusement as he stared toward the hallway where Jungkook had vanished. "He’s down bad. But a doctor can't help him with that one."

The afternoon heat hung heavy over the Jeon estate, wrapping the expansive courtyard and shaded stone terraces in a lazy, quiet stillness. Downstairs in the sprawling ground-floor media lounge, Sunday had unfolded in its usual noisy, sprawling heap.
The low leather sectional was submerged in a sea of tangled limbs, discarded game controllers, and half-empty bowls of seaweed crisps. You were tucked comfortably between Hoseok and Taehyung, your bare feet propped unceremoniously onto Namjoon’s knee as he tried, with supreme futility, to read an annotated translation of German poetry amidst the constant chatter. Jimin was lying belly-down on the thick rug, aggressively mashing buttons during an arcade fighter rematch against Yoongi, while Seokjin hovered near the doorway balancing a wooden tray piled high with tall glasses of iced barley tea and freshly sliced melon.
For almost two hours, the house had been remarkably, suspiciously peaceful.
Too peaceful.
"Where is the brat, anyway?" Yoongi’s dry, gravelly voice cut through the electronic soundtrack of the game, his thumb flicking a joystick with effortless, brutal precision that sent Jimin’s on-screen avatar crashing through a virtual stone wall. "Usually he's in here screaming into the headset by three o'clock or demanding someone spot him on the bench press."
"He went upstairs right after lunch," Hoseok remarked, tossing a melon cube into his mouth and checking his wristwatch with a faint frown. "Said he had a headache or something. But that was almost two hours ago. He didn't even come down to get his afternoon protein shake, and that boy treats his macros like a sacred religion."
"A headache?" Seokjin set the heavy wooden tray down onto the coffee table with a sharp clack, wiping his hands against his apron, his maternal radar instantly pinging with high alert. "Why didn't anyone tell me? Did he take an ibuprofen? You know how dramatic he gets when he catches a fever. He acts like a dying Victorian child if his throat is even slightly scratchy."
"He looked fine to me at lunch," you chimed in, chewing thoughtfully on a sweet slice of melon. "He ate four bowls of spicy beef noodles and stole the last three dumplings off my plate before running up the stairs. He didn't look sick at all. He just looked... twitchy. Weird."
"Twitchy?" Namjoon closed his book with a soft sigh, taking off his tortoiseshell reading glasses and pinching the bridge of his nose. "He’s probably locked himself up reading comic books or playing online shooters with the door shut so Jin-hyung wouldn't make him sweep the rear veranda."
"Well, his dodging privileges have officially expired," Seokjin declared, turning on his heel with absolute, domestic authority. "The terrace plants need their fertilizer moved, the groceries need unloading, and I’m not letting him rot in bed until dinner. Come on. Everyone up. Let’s go shake the tree."
When Seokjin issued an order in that particular tone, nobody argued.
In a loose, rambling herd, the seven of you drifted out of the lounge, through the echoing marble foyer, and up the grand, sweeping staircase. Jimin was still whining about his combo timing, clinging lightly to the sleeve of your oversized vintage tee; Taehyung was trailing behind, casually tossing a small foam stress ball against the wall and catching it; Hoseok was lecturing Yoongi on the importance of stretching after long studio sessions; and Namjoon followed at the rear like an exasperated schoolmaster herding stray calves.
You led the pack down the wide second-floor corridor toward the double mahogany doors of the master suite.
In the Jeon household, the concept of knocking was not merely neglected; it was fundamentally nonexistent. Doors were decorative barriers meant to keep drafts out, not to keep family members away from one another. For seven years, private space had been an abstract legal theory that had never once been practiced within these walls. You had all lived on top of each other through growth spurts, childhood tears, high fevers, and chaotic midnight pantry raids.
So when your bare feet reached the threshold of the master suite, you didn't even hesitate. You reached out, pushed down on the heavy bronze lever, and threw both heavy double doors wide open with a cheery, triumphant bang.
"Jungkook-ah! Stop hiding, Jin-oppa says you have to move the—"
The words did not just stop. They dissolved entirely into the cool, air-conditioned silence of the room.
The heavy blackout curtains were drawn almost entirely shut, casting the expansive suite into a dim, dusty twilight, illuminated only by the faint, flickering blue glare of a tablet propped up on the bedside nightstand. The air inside the room was noticeably warm, thick with the faint, musk-laced scent of male skin and the sharp tang of sandalwood lotion.
And right in the center of the massive, unmade king-size bed was Jeon Jungkook.
He was propped back against a mountain of crumpled pillows, completely stripped down to nothing but a dark, damp t-shirt bunched up high beneath his armpits. His sweatpants and dark boxer briefs had been shoved ruthlessly down past his knees, tangling around his shins like discarded shackles. His sculpted, broad chest was heaving with rapid, shallow gasps, glistening with a light sheen of sweat under the dim blue glow. His head was thrown back, neck arched, eyes clamped tightly shut, teeth sinking hard into his lower lip as his throat worked in a choked, ragged rhythm.
His large, heavily tattooed right hand was wrapped tight and slick around the hard, flushed length of his erection, stroking in a frantic, desperate, furious rhythm that had clearly been seconds away from tipping over the edge.
For one suspended, horrifying fraction of a millisecond, the sound of his ragged, broken breathing and the slick, wet friction of his own palm against skin was the only thing echoing in the enormous bedroom.
Then, the universe violently imploded.
The sharp, synchronized click of seven pairs of eyes registering the exact same visual atrocity at the exact same moment ruptured the fabric of reality.
Jungkook’s eyes flew open.
They weren't just wide; they were enormous, glassy, bloodshot, and filled with a terror so profound, so unadulterated, that it looked as if he had just witnessed an asteroid hurtling straight through the ceiling. His jaw unhinged in a silent, paralyzed scream. His hand froze in mid-stroke, clenched frozen around his own shaft like a petrified statue, his whole muscular frame locking up as if struck by fifty thousand volts of direct current.
"WHAT IN GOD’S HOLY NAME—!"
Seokjin’s voice was the first to detonate, reaching an impossible, glass-shattering register that sounded like a tea kettle exploding on a jet engine. The eldest brother dropped his hands from his apron, clutching both sides of his skull with such violent force his knuckles turned stark white. He reeled backward, stumbling into the doorframe, his face cycling through every shade of white, grey, and radioactive purple in under two seconds. "CLOSE IT! SHUT IT! LORD IN HEAVEN, STRIKE ME BLIND! BURN MY CORNEAS!"
"OH SWEET MOTHER OF—!" Hoseok’s shriek broke into three distinct, soprano octaves as he violently clutched the back of Namjoon’s cardigan, using the household head as a human shield while stomping his feet in place like the floor was covered in venomous scorpions. "MY EYES! MY PURE, UNTAINTED EYES! WHY ARE THE LIGHTS OFF?! WHY IS HE WET?! OH GOD, HE’S TOUCHING IT!"
Before your teenage brain could even begin to process the mechanics of the glistening, flushed anatomy currently sitting front and center on the bedspread, two massive, warm hands clamped down over your face.
Yoongi, who normally possessed the reflexes of a sedated sloth, moved with terrifying, lightning-fast speed. He lunged from the edge of the threshold, his pale arms wrapping around your head from behind, his large palms completely covering your eyes, pressing your face firmly back against the rough cotton of his hoodie so you were staring into total, black darkness.
"Don't look," Yoongi’s gravelly voice grated directly into your ear, shaking with a rare, unstable mixture of pure panic and visceral secondhand shame. "Do not open your eyes, {{user}}. Keep them shut. If you look at that, you're going to need psychological debriefing."
"Yoongi-oppa! I can't breathe!" you muffled into his chest, struggling against his grip, totally bewildered by the shrieking chaos erupting all around you. "What is he doing?! Is he hurting himself?!"
"HE'S NOT HURTING HIMSELF, HE'S DISGRACING THE FAMILY LINE!" Jin roared from the corridor, his heavy footsteps pacing frantically back and forth like a caged tiger. "IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! ON A SUNDAY! WITH THE BALCONY WINDOW UNLOCKED! HAVE YOU NO FEAR OF GOD, JEON JUNGKOOK?!"
"GET OUT!"
The roar that finally tore from Jungkook’s throat was not human. It was the guttural, agonizing shriek of a cornered, feral animal facing immediate execution.
The spell of his physical paralysis broke in a violent explosion of panicked thrashing. Jungkook scrambled backward across the mattress like a crab on hot coals, his tangled sweatpants trapping his ankles so violently that he nearly flipped backward over the mahogany headboard. He grabbed the heavy goose-down duvet with both hands, yanking it up with such frantic, desperate force that feathers literally drifted into the air, wrapping the thick blanket around his lower half until he looked like an oversized, hyperventilating burrito of mortification.
His face was not just red; it was a deep, burning, apocalyptic crimson that stretched from the roots of his messy hair all the way down his neck and across his bare, sweat-glistened collarbones. Sweat dripped from his bangs into his wide, panicked eyes, his chest heaving as if he had just run twenty miles through the desert.
"GET OUT! GET OUT! GET THE FUCK OUT!" Jungkook wailed, his voice cracking violently on the high notes as he grabbed the nearest projectile—a heavy, rectangular memory-foam pillow—and hurled it across the room with all the strength in his gym-trained right arm.
The pillow struck Namjoon squarely in the chest with a loud, hollow thump.
Namjoon didn't even flinch. He stood frozen in the center of the doorway, his wire-rimmed glasses slightly askew, his face completely pale and his ears practically glowing like neon stoplights. He held a hand out in the air, his fingers twitching helplessly, his articulate, legal, philosophical vocabulary reduced to absolute, stuttering rubble. "I—we—the door—there was no—Jungkook, you have to understand the protocol of—"
"PROTOCOL?!" Jungkook screeched, tears of pure, unadulterated humiliation actually welling up at the corners of his doe eyes as he grabbed a second pillow and threw it straight at Namjoon’s head. "YOU BARGED IN! ALL OF YOU! WITH HER! YOU BROUGHT HER IN HERE!"
Behind Yoongi’s iron grip on your face, you could hear Jimin.
Jimin had not spoken a single word. He couldn't. The moment his brain had processed the scene, his legs had entirely given out beneath him. He was currently collapsed against the wall in the corridor, sitting flat on the hardwood floor with his knees pulled to his chest, both hands clamped over his mouth, his entire body convulsing in silent, breathless, borderline-asphyxiating laughter. Small, high-pitched, tea-kettle wheezes were leaking through his fingers, every breath sounding like he was on the absolute verge of passing out from a lack of oxygen.
Taehyung, meanwhile, slowly lowered his hands from his own face, his boxy jaw slack, his deep, dark eyes fixed onto the shivering, duvet-wrapped bundle on the bed.
With the terrifying, unflappable calmness that only Taehyung possessed, he reached into his pocket, pulled out the foam stress ball, and bounced it lightly once against the floorboards.
"Kook-ah," Taehyung murmured, his deep baritone carrying clearly over Jin’s ongoing prayers and Hoseok’s panicked pacing. "At least... turn the screen off before you start swinging pillows. It's still playing."
The room temperature dropped to absolute zero.
Jungkook’s head jerked toward the nightstand with the speed of an owl catching prey.
The tablet propped up against the lamp was, indeed, still softly glowing. And on the screen, frozen in high-definition paused motion, was not some anonymous adult actress or foreign internet clip.
It was an old, candid video from your shared vacation to Jeju Island last summer—specifically, a short video of you wearing an oversized white linen shirt, laughing in slow motion as ocean spray hit your face, the thin fabric clinging damply to your shoulders while you turned toward the camera and kicked water straight at the lens.
Jungkook made a sound that wasn't even a word. It was a strangled, dying squeak.
He lunged forward from the cocoon of blankets like a heat-seeking missile, his palm slapping violently against the tablet screen, knocking the entire device off the nightstand with a loud clatter until it skidded face-down under the bed frame.
"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! IT WAS ON SHUFFLE! MY CLOUD DRIVE WAS ON SHUFFLE!" Jungkook screamed, his voice cracking so hard it sounded like glass shattering in a blender. He curled into a tight, shivering ball in the very corner of the king-size mattress, pulling the duvet all the way up over his nose, only his wild, terrified, beet-red eyes visible above the white linen. "GET OUT! GET OUT OR I AM JUMPING OFF THE BALCONY! I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL JUMP!"
"Nobody is jumping anywhere, you absolute lunatic!" Seokjin yelled, finally recovering enough motor function to reach out with his foot and kick the heavy oak door. He grabbed the handle, his hand visibly shaking with post-traumatic stress. "We are leaving! We are exiting! But you—you filthy, shameless, unhinged animal—you are scrubbing those sheets yourself! With boiling water! With lye! And you are staying in that room until you learn how to use a deadbolt!"
"Yoongi, take her downstairs!" Hoseok commanded, practically shoving the second brother backward down the hall. "Take her to the garden! Take her to the library! Cleanse her environment!"
"I'm already doing it, stop yelling at me," Yoongi grunted, his hands still firmly, uncompromisingly clamped over your eyes. He walked you backward blindly through the doorway, using his body like a shield to steer you away from the bedroom. "Keep walking, {{user}}. Small steps. Lift your feet. Do not turn around. If you turn around, I will personally revoke your dessert privileges for a month."
"Oppa, let me go!" you protested, your voice muffled against his palms as you blindly stumbled over the threshold. "Why is everyone screaming?! What was he doing with his hand?! Why was he so sweaty?!"
From the hallway floor, Jimin let out another strangled, dying wheeze, rolling onto his side as he clutched his stomach, tears literally soaking his collar. "What was he doing with his hand—oh god, please, my ribs—somebody call an ambulance—"
"Shut up, Jimin!" Namjoon hissed, his face still flaming red as he reached down, grabbed Jimin by the scruff of his silk shirt, and hauled him up off the floor like a sack of wet laundry, shoving him down the hallway ahead of him. "Move! Everyone downstairs! Right now!"
With one final, violent yank, Seokjin slammed the double doors of the master suite shut with a deafening bang that rattled the picture frames along the corridor wall.
The sound of the heavy deadbolt instantly sliding home from the inside echoed with frantic, desperate finality, followed by the muffled, muffled sound of a grown twenty-year-old man screaming into a pillow with everything he had left in his lungs.
Down in the bright, sunlit kitchen, the silence that followed was suffocating.
Yoongi finally, mercifully, removed his hands from your face.
You blinked rapidly against the bright afternoon light, shaking your head to clear your vision, your hair completely tousled from being dragged through the hallways like a captive package. You turned around, looking at the assembled brothers with complete, utter indignation.
Every single one of them looked like they had just barely survived a grenade blast.
Seokjin was leaning over the sink, splashing cold tap water furiously onto his face, muttering incoherently about family honor, therapy bills, and the moral corruption of the younger generation.
Hoseok was sitting stiffly at the kitchen island, clutching a bottle of hand sanitizer in one hand and staring blankly into the middle distance as if questioning the fundamental fabric of human existence.
Namjoon was standing near the refrigerator, his reading glasses held loosely in his fingers, leaning his forehead flat against the cold stainless steel door with his eyes closed, his shoulders sagging with the weight of an exhausted parent whose life had completely spiraled out of control.
Taehyung was leaning against the counter, slowly sipping a glass of water, his lips twitching with the most infuriating, knowing, boxy smirk you had ever seen.
And Jimin was leaning against the dining table, his face bright pink, wiping tears from the corners of his eyes with the back of his hand, letting out soft, lingering hiccups of laughter that he couldn't quite swallow down.
"Okay," you said, crossing your arms over your chest, your bare foot tapping aggressively against the kitchen tiles. "One of you is going to explain to me right now what just happened up there. Why was Jungkook crying? Why did he throw a pillow at Namjoon-oppa? And why did you cover my eyes like I was looking at an active crime scene?!"
Seokjin turned slowly from the sink, water dripping from his chin onto his apron. He looked at you with an expression of profound, tragic exhaustion—the look of an elder who had carried the weight of the Jeon empire on his shoulders only to be defeated by a locked bedroom door on a Sunday afternoon.
"{{user}}," Jin said, his voice dropping into a solemn, shaky whisper as he walked over and rested both hands gently on your shoulders. "There are things in this world... dark, chaotic, feral things... that a girl your age does not need to witness."
"He was just scratching an itch, right?" you asked, your brow furrowing in genuine, stubborn logic. "He was half-asleep and scratching an itch. Why did you all scream like he was on fire?"
At the phrase scratching an itch, Jimin completely lost it again, clapping both hands over his face and sliding slowly down the side of the dining table until he was crouching on the floor, shaking violently with soundless laughter.
"Yes," Yoongi’s dry, gravelly voice cut in from the counter. The second brother pulled open a low cupboard, pulled out a fresh carton of apple juice, and poured a generous glass, setting it down directly in front of you. His pale face had finally returned to its normal shade, though the dark, sharp amusement dancing in his eyes was unmistakable. "He was scratching an itch. A very big, very stupid itch. And if he ever scratches it in the master bedroom again without locking the door, I am going to buy a padlock and bolt him inside from the outside."
"He's not coming out of that room for three days," Hoseok stated with complete, absolute certainty, shuddering as he rubbed hand sanitizer vigorously between his palms. "I know that boy. He will starve himself before he faces any of us at dinner. He’s probably packing his bags to move to a monastery in the mountains right now."
"He doesn't need a monastery," Taehyung murmured, tilting his head with that slow, mischievous glint in his eyes as he leaned closer to you, his deep voice dropping into an amused, quiet drawl. "He just needs to learn how to clear his browser history. Or maybe... ask his wife for help next time."
"Kim Taehyung!" Namjoon’s voice cracked across the kitchen like a whip, his head jerking up from the refrigerator door, his ears turning instantly pink again. "Do not start! Do not put ideas into—just stop talking! All of you, stop talking!"
"I don't understand," you muttered, picking up the glass of apple juice and taking a sip, completely annoyed by the wall of secrecy. "If he wanted help moving the fertilizer, he could have just asked me. Why would he be looking at my vacation video to move fertilizer?!"
The entire kitchen went completely dead silent once more.
Yoongi let out a long, slow breath through his nose, reached over, and patted the top of your head with gentle, pitying affection.
"Drink your juice, kid," Yoongi said softly, shaking his head with a faint, tired smirk. "Go on. Drink your juice. Your husband is having a very long, very complicated spiritual crisis upstairs, and trust me... you're the last person who should go knocking on that door today."

The clock in the downstairs library chimed eight times, each deep, resonant gong echoing through the cavernous stillness of the Jeon mansion like a funeral bell.
For nearly five hours, the master bedroom on the second floor had been sealed tighter than an ancient tomb. The heavy double doors had remained locked from the inside, the deadbolt undisturbed, the room blanketed in an absolute, suffocating silence. Dinner had come and gone; you had eaten a mountain of spicy garlic beef ribs at the dining table while Seokjin aggressively fed you extra spoonfuls of rice, Hoseok hovered with fresh napkins, and Namjoon had gently, firmly steered every single conversational thread entirely away from anything involving the words bedroom, itch, video, or exercise.
To ensure absolute operational security, the elder brothers had orchestrated your removal from the main floor with military precision. Around seven-thirty, Yoongi had casually slipped you a flash drive loaded with three unreleased acoustic tracks you had been begging to hear, accompanied by a rare tub of artisanal pistachio gelato. He had ushered you into the third-floor private cinema room, handed you the remote, and told you not to come down until the credits of your movie rolled, claiming the downstairs floors were undergoing "routine thermodynamic air-duct sanitization."
You were upstairs, blissfully watching an action thriller with a bowl of ice cream on your lap, completely oblivious to the military tribunal assembling in the low-lit library below.
The library was the most serious room in the entire estate—a massive, two-story room wrapped in dark walnut bookshelves, leather-bound encyclopedias, heavy velvet drapery, and a massive circular mahogany table in the center under an antique wrought-iron chandelier.
Around that mahogany table, six chairs were occupied.
Namjoon sat at the head, having traded his casual cardigan for a crisp, button-down shirt, a thick legal ledger and an unbranded notebook placed neatly before him alongside a silver fountain pen. Seokjin was seated to his right, arms crossed tightly over his chest, his jaw set in a line of profound, disappointed gravitas. Yoongi was tilted back on two legs of his leather chair, tossing a heavy brass zippo lighter between his palms, his eyes half-lidded but gleaming with sharp, predatory focus.
Hoseok sat stiffly, a glass of ice water in front of him, tapping his index finger in a rhythmic, agitated cadence against the wood. Jimin was perched sideways on his chair, chin resting lazily in the palm of his hand, a slow, Cheshire-cat smirk tugging at the corners of his plump lips. Taehyung was slumped comfortably into the deep leather cushions, one long leg slung over the armrest, rolling that damn foam stress ball back and forth between his long fingers.
Then, faint and trembling, the floorboards outside the library door gave off a slow, agonizing creak.
The heavy, brass-studded door pushed open a mere four inches.
A pale, terrified nose appeared in the crack, followed by two massive, round doe eyes that looked as if they had spent the last five hours staring directly into the fiery pits of hell.
Jungkook was dressed like a monk preparing for execution: black sweatpants pulled up high, a black hoodie with the hood yanked entirely over his head, the drawstrings pulled so tight that only a small circle of his flushed, miserable face was visible to the world. He was barefoot, stepping into the room with the hesitant, shivering caution of a wild dog that knew it had just chewed through the family heirloom couch. He held a glass of water in his hands, clutching it to his chest like a holy shield.
The six heads turned in unison.
The silence that greeted him was heavy enough to bend steel.
"I—I just came down to get a protein bar from the pantry," Jungkook croaked out, his voice so raw, raspy, and cracked it sounded like he had swallowed a handful of dry pebbles. He took half a step backward, his bare heel hovering near the threshold. "I wasn't... I wasn't trying to bother anyone. I'm going right back up."
"Shut the door, Jungkook," Namjoon said softly.
The tone wasn't loud, but it possessed that quiet, immovable weight of household authority that brook no disobedience.
"Namjoon-hyung, please, I have a headache—"
"Shut the door. Turn the deadbolt. Sit in the chair."
Jungkook looked wildly around the room, desperately seeking an exit, an ally, or an act of God. He found none. Yoongi’s eyes were locked on him like a sniper; Jin was looking at him like a principal who had just caught him smoking behind the gym; Jimin was practically vibrating with silent, vicious glee.
With a heavy, rattling swallow that was audible across the room, the twenty-year-old stepped over the threshold, pushed the heavy door shut, and let the latch fall with a dull, final thunk. He shuffled across the Persian rug like a convict marching toward the electric chair, pulling out the single empty leather chair at the opposite end of the circular table and sinking into it, burying his face instantly into the sleeves of his oversized hoodie.
"Don't hide your face now," Seokjin’s voice sliced through the air, sharp and resonant. "You had plenty of courage at three o'clock this afternoon when you were turning the master suite into a personal cinema house!"
"Hyung, please!" Jungkook let out a muffled, dying shriek into his cotton sleeves, his shoulders curling inward until he looked half his actual size. "Please! Don't bring it up! Just shoot me! Just take Namjoon-hyung’s letter opener and stab me through the throat! Have some mercy!"
"Mercy?!" Seokjin slapped the mahogany table with an open palm, making the water glasses rattle. "Mercy is what I gave you when I didn't rip the router out of the wall and throw your phone into the koi pond! Do you have any idea the spiritual trauma you inflicted on this household today?! Hoseok had to sanitize his eyes with artificial tears! Yoongi had to tackle {{user}} like an NFL linebacker to keep her from being permanently scarred!"
At the mention of your name, Jungkook flinched so hard his knee knocked against the underside of the table with a hollow bang. The red flush that had finally started to fade over five hours exploded back across his neck, raging up his jaw and turning the exposed skin around his eyes a violent, burning crimson.
"She—she didn't see anything, right?" Jungkook whispered, his voice trembling with a level of pathetic, desperate panic that was almost painful to witness. His hands slowly lowered from his face, his doe eyes wide, shiny, and terrified as he looked across the table at Yoongi. "Yoongi-hyung... tell me she didn't see. Please. I will wash your car every day for five years. Tell me she didn't see."
Yoongi set the brass lighter down on the wood with a quiet clink. He leaned forward, resting his forearms on the table, staring the youngest brother down with cold, unblinking eyes.
"She didn't see your hand," Yoongi said bluntly, each word deliberately spaced for maximum psychological damage. "She saw you half-naked, heaving like an asthmatic horse, dripping sweat, and looking like you were having an exorcism on Jin's clean duvet. She thinks you were scratching a mosquito bite."
A collective groan rippled around the table.
Jungkook closed his eyes, his head falling backward against the leather headrest of the chair as he let out a long, broken wheeze of pure, existential torment. "A mosquito bite. God. Just kill me. Put me in the ground."
"A mosquito bite that was apparently being sustained by a four-minute video of her laughing on the beach in Jeju," Jimin purred, leaning forward over his crossed arms, his eyes narrowing into two crescent moons of pure, unadulterated, toxic mischief. "A very specific itch, wasn't it, Kook-ah? Very targeted dermatological treatment."
"Jimin, stop it!" Jungkook snapped, his voice cracking into high pitch again as he grabbed the edge of the table, his knuckles turning white. "It was on shuffle! I swear on my life, my camera roll was playing automatically! I didn't search for it! It just—it just popped up!"
"It popped up," Taehyung repeated, his deep, velvety baritone carrying an impossibly straight, deadpan delivery that made Hoseok violently choke on his own tongue. Taehyung didn't even smile; he just rolled the blue foam ball in his long fingers, tilting his head with calm curiosity. "The video popped up, or something else popped up, Jungkook?"
"KIM TAEHYUNG!" Seokjin yelled, pointing a trembling finger across the table. "Decency! A shred of basic, human decency in this room, I beg of you!"
"Look," Namjoon’s voice cut through the rising clamor, deep, steady, and carrying the absolute finality of an iron gavel. He removed his glasses, setting them down on the open ledger, and leaned his elbows onto the polished wood, looking directly at the shivering boy across from him. "We didn't call you down here to mock you, Jungkook."
"Jimin-hyung and Tae-hyung literally are!" Jungkook protested, his eyes watering with indignation.
"Ignore them," Namjoon commanded, not breaking eye contact. "We called you down here because this stops tonight. The childishness, the hiding, the ridiculous denial—it ends right now. You are twenty years old. You are no longer a scrawny thirteen-year-old kid wearing an ill-fitting suit who got dumped into an arranged marriage he didn't understand."
The room quieted. The sharp, mocking air slowly shifted into something heavier, grounded in the strange, complex reality that had governed this house for seven long years.
Namjoon tapped the edge of the table with his index finger. "Seven years, Jungkook. Seven years we protected you both. When your elders arranged that union, you were children. We kept you in separate wings of the house. We let you grow up as friends. We let you roughhouse, we let you steal each other's clothes, we let you behave like feral roommates because neither of you had the emotional maturity to handle the legal reality of what that ring on your finger actually means."
Jungkook looked down at his left hand, his thumb unconsciously moving to brush against the thin gold band resting on his knuckle. His lips pressed into a tight, miserable line.
"Now," Namjoon continued, his voice dropping into a firmer, undeniable register, "you share a bedroom. You share a bed. The grace period is finished. The elders have accepted that you are adults. The public knows you are of age. And yet, you are still behaving like a repressed, hormonal teenager hiding behind locked doors while your legal, wedded partner is sitting thirty feet away in the cinema eating ice cream and wondering if you have an infectious skin disease."
"She’s my best friend, Hyung," Jungkook muttered, his voice barely a whisper, his gaze stubbornly glued to the wood grain. "It's... it's not that simple. We’ve fought over the remote for seven years. We pull each other’s sweatpants. How the hell am I supposed to just... look at her like that?"
A dry, sharp snort escaped Yoongi.
"Don't give us that pious bullshit," Yoongi said coldly, leaning back in his chair with a scowl. "You've been looking at her 'like that' since she turned eighteen. You think we're blind? You think I don't see you hovering behind her every time a delivery driver comes to the front gate? You think Jin doesn't notice you rearranging her vitamins so she takes them on time? You think Taehyung didn't notice you nearly breaking his wrist three days ago just because he gave her a strawberry?"
Jungkook’s jaw tightened, but he couldn't form a counterargument. His ears were burning red, his gaze shifting guiltily away.
"You have a wife, Jungkook," Hoseok said gently, his voice softening from its usual high energy into something remarkably tender, like an older brother who had watched every step of a painful journey. "An actual, beautiful, loyal girl who has lived under this roof, who loves you, who trusts you with her entire life. She sleeps in your old shirts. She steals your boxers. She lets you hold her in her sleep. She doesn't have a single wall built up against you."
Hoseok leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands, looking at the youngest with wide, earnest eyes. "Do you have any idea how rare that is? Most arranged marriages in our circle are cold, miserable, political arrangements where people live in separate apartments and communicate through lawyers. You two actually like each other. You grew up together. But you are suffocating yourself because you're too cowardly to admit that you've fallen in love with the girl you're already married to."
The word love seemed to strike Jungkook physically. He shrank back into his oversized hoodie, swallowing hard, his throat bobbing visibly.
"She doesn't... she doesn't think of me that way," Jungkook mumbled, his fingers picking aggressively at a loose thread on the seam of his sweatpants. "To her, I’m just Kook. The idiot who steals her food and kicks her in the shins. If I... if I do something weird, or if I push her, and it ruins what we have... what am I supposed to do? What happens if she gets disgusted by me?"
"Disgusted by you?" Seokjin let out an incredulous, dramatic gasp, throwing his hands in the air before resting them on his hips. "She brought your dirty, semen-stained underwear to the kitchen island on Sunday morning because she thought you were dying of a biological illness, you fool! She was ready to take you to the emergency room! The girl doesn't have the capacity to be disgusted by you; she is completely, utterly devoted to you, and she is also profoundly, blissfully uneducated about the basic mechanics of what men do when they have an attractive woman sleeping six inches from their chest!"
"Jin-hyung!" Namjoon winced, clearing his throat loudly.
"No, Namjoon, let me speak!" Jin insisted, leaning across the table and pointing a finger directly at Jungkook’s nose. "Listen to me, brat. We gave you two baths when you were twelve. I have personally cleaned your scraped knees and cooked ten thousand meals for the two of you. I did not spend seven years raising a healthy, athletic, handsome young man just for him to turn into a private bedroom pervert who strokes his own meat to vacation footage while his wife is in the next room!"
Jungkook made another strangled, dying noise, slamming his forehead flat against the polished mahogany table with a loud, resounding THUD. "HYUNG! PLEASE! THE WORDING! STOP THE WORDING!"
"The wording is accurate!" Jin shouted back. "You have a wife! An adult, consenting, legal wife who shares your bed! If you have energy, if you have needs, if you have desires—talk to her! Flirt with her! Be a man about it instead of acting like a terrified middle schooler hiding under a blanket!"
Jimin let out a low, musical chuckle, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "You know, Kook-ah... if you're too nervous to initiate, I could always give her a few lessons on what married couples do. She’s very receptive to my advice. I could teach her how to—"
In a split second, the pathetic, shivering monk vanished.
Jungkook’s head snapped up off the table. His doe eyes turned sharp, dark, and instantly lethal, his jaw locking tight as a low, dangerous rumble vibrated in his chest. "Finish that sentence, Jimin-hyung, and I will throw you off the balcony."
A slow, satisfied smirk spread across Jimin’s face. He didn't look threatened in the slightest; in fact, he looked like a scientist whose hypothesis had just been spectacularly proven. "See? Look at that. The second someone else even breathes near her, the territorial pitbull wakes up. But when you’re alone in the room with her, you turn into a trembling puppy who locks the door and ruins Jin’s bedsheets."
Jungkook looked like he wanted to jump across the table and bite Jimin’s face off, his chest heaving under his hoodie, his teeth gritted so hard his jaw muscle was visibly twitching.
"Enough," Namjoon commanded, raising a single hand to cut off the rising tension. He leaned back in his chair, folding his hands over his stomach, his dark eyes leveling a steady, unyielding gaze on the youngest brother. "Here are the new rules, Jungkook. Listen very carefully, because I am not repeating them."
Jungkook slumped back, panting slightly, glaring at the center of the table with pure, sullen teenage resentment. "What rules?"
"Rule number one," Namjoon stated, holding up a finger. "The deadbolt on the master bedroom is being dismantled tomorrow morning by the maintenance staff."
"WHAT?!" Jungkook gasped, his voice cracking violently. "No! You can't do that! That's an invasion of privacy!"
"You forfeited your right to an internal lock when you forced this family to witness an unholy visual crime at three in the afternoon," Yoongi said flatly, not even looking up from his lighter. "Be glad we aren't removing the entire door off its hinges."
"Rule number two," Namjoon continued, ignoring the protest entirely. "You are going to stop treating {{user}} like an untouchable glass statue. You are going to start treating her like your partner. If you want to hold her hand, hold her hand. If you want to take her out on an actual date instead of dragging her to the boxing gym or the convenience store, you will take her out. You have an unlimited corporate black card; use it to buy her flowers instead of buying another pair of black combat boots."
"And rule number three," Hoseok piped up, his expression turning stern, pointed, and remarkably serious. "You talk to her. You explain things to her. She grew up in this house surrounded by six overprotective men who shielded her from every rough edge of the world. She doesn't understand male anatomy, she doesn't understand physical desire, and she doesn't understand why her best friend has been acting like a twitchy lunatic for the past week. It is your job—as her husband—to guide her into this next stage of your lives together with patience, gentleness, and honesty. Not with secrecy."
Jungkook sat completely still.
The anger, the embarrassment, the combative defensiveness that usually fueled his interactions with his older brothers slowly drained out of him, leaving him looking remarkably young, exhausted, and vulnerable under the warm amber glow of the chandelier.
He stared down at his own large, calloused hands—hands that were covered in dark, intricate tattoos, hands that could bench-press twice his body weight, hands that had pulled you out of scrapes and carried your schoolbags for seven years.
"I just..." Jungkook whispered, his voice small, thick with a rare, heavy honesty that made the entire library fall into a gentle, reverent quiet. "I don't want to scare her. She's so... she’s always looked at me like I’m safe. Like nothing bad could ever happen to her if I was in the room. If I... if I cross that line, and she feels pressured, or if she thinks I’m just like any other guy who wants to use her... I couldn't live with myself. I’d rather die."
A soft, collective pause settled over the six older men.
Seokjin’s stern expression melted entirely, replaced by that ancient, deep warmth he had carried since the day he first took in a scrawny thirteen-year-old boy and a terrified twelve-year-old girl. He reached across the table, his hand resting firmly, affectionately over Jungkook’s tense knuckles.
"She won't be scared of you, Kook-ah," Jin said softly, his voice steady and paternal. "Because she knows who you are. She knows your heart. But you have to give her the chance to know the rest of you, too. You can't stay a boy forever. Not when you have a woman waiting for you in your room."
Taehyung leaned forward, his deep baritone unusually gentle as he tossed the foam ball onto the table, letting it roll gently toward Jungkook’s forearm. "She likes you, idiot. She’s always liked you. She wears your clothes because they smell like you. She sleeps on your side of the bed when you're late from practice. You're the only one who's blind to it."
Jungkook let out a slow, trembling breath through his nose, his eyes glossy as he rubbed the back of his neck with a rough hand. "So... what am I supposed to do right now? She’s upstairs."
"Right now," Namjoon said, closing his notebook with a decisive snap, "you are going to go up to the cinema room. You are going to take her by the hand. You are going to bring her back to your bedroom. And you are going to apologize for screaming like a banshee and throwing pillows at my face."
"And wash your face first!" Hoseok added, wagging a finger. "You still look like a cooked lobster."
"And if you ever," Yoongi murmured, leaning back with a dark, threatening smirk, "ever leave your door unlocked while your hand is down your pants again, I will personally post the security camera footage of your sprint down the hallway onto the corporate intranet."
"Hyung!" Jungkook whined, but the paralyzing shame had finally broken, replaced by his usual, familiar pout as he pushed his chair back and stood up.
He pulled the hood off his head, shaking out his messy dark bangs, his broad shoulders dropping their defensive hunch. He looked at each of his six older brothers—the men who had raised him, scolded him, protected him, and thoroughly humiliated him into adulthood.
"Thanks," Jungkook muttered under his breath, barely loud enough to hear, his cheeks still carrying a faint, stubborn dusting of pink. "I guess."
"Get out of here, brat," Jin chuckled, waving a dismissive hand toward the door. "Go take care of your wife."
Ten minutes later, the door to the third-floor cinema room clicked open.
The room was bathed in the cool, flickering blue and silver light of the massive projection screen, where the final credits of your action movie were rolling to a bombastic orchestral score. You were curled up in the corner of a massive velvet armchair, wearing your usual oversized t-shirt and loose black shorts, an empty bowl of pistachio gelato resting on the side table, your eyelids heavy with late-night drowsiness.
A tall, broad figure stepped quietly through the doorway, backlit by the warm hallway sconces.
You blinked against the dimness, recognizing the wide, muscular silhouette instantly. "Jungkook?"
He didn't answer right away. He walked slowly across the carpeted floor, his hands shoved deep into the front pockets of his black sweatpants. He looked clean, his dark hair damp from a quick splash of cold water, though the tips of his ears were still noticeably, curiously red.
He stopped right in front of your chair, looking down at you with those deep, dark doe eyes that held an intensity you hadn't seen in him all day. The childish, combative smirk was entirely gone, replaced by a quiet, hesitant gravity that made your chest tighten with a strange, unfamiliar flutter.
"The movie over?" he asked, his voice low, raspy, and unexpectedly gentle.
"Yeah," you murmured, stretching your arms above your head with a sleepy yawn. "Did you finish the air-duct sanitization downstairs? Yoongi-oppa said there was toxic dust or something."
A faint, self-deprecating twitch pulled at the corner of Jungkook’s lips. "Yeah. The toxic dust is gone."
He reached out.
Instead of his usual aggressive yank, his playful butt-smack, or his habit of twisting your wrist behind your back, his large, warm hand moved with agonizing slowness. His long, calloused fingers slid gently around your wrist, his thumb resting right over the steady, jumping rhythm of your pulse.
Slowly, deliberately, his fingers slipped down, lacing through yours, his palm pressing flush and heavy against your own. The gold band on his ring finger clicked softly against yours in the dim room.
You looked down at your joined hands, your breath catching in your throat. He had never held your hand like this—not since the terrifying, trembling day seven years ago when you were twelve and thirteen in oversized wedding clothes.
"Jungkook?" you whispered, looking up at him through your eyelashes.
Jungkook didn't drop his gaze. His jaw set firmly, a soft, determined heat burning behind his dark pupils, his thumb gently, rhythmically stroking the soft skin on the back of your hand.
"Come on," he said softly, giving your hand a firm, undeniable tug upward, pulling you gently up out of the deep armchair until you were standing only inches from his broad, warm chest. His clean scent of cedarwood, soap, and male skin wrapped around you instantly. "It's late. We're going to our room."
"Are you... are you still sick?" you asked tentatively, your head tilting with lingering innocence. "Did the itch go away?"
For a second, Jungkook’s eyes flared with pure, suppressed agony, his teeth biting into the inside of his cheek to stop from groaning out loud. But instead of exploding, instead of yelling or running away, he let out a low, breathy chuckle that vibrated right against your collarbone.
He leaned down slightly, his face dipping close to yours, his breath warm against your temple as his fingers tightened possessively around yours.
"The itch isn't gone, {{user}}," Jungkook murmured, his voice dropping into a husky, dangerous register that sent a sharp, electric shiver straight down your spine. "Not even close. But I’m done handling it by myself. Let's go to bed."

The heavy mahogany double doors of the master bedroom clicked shut, and for the first time in seven years, the room felt completely detached from the rest of the sprawling Jeon estate. The air-duct explanation was forgotten, the shouting from the afternoon had settled, and the soft amber glow of the bedside lamps washed over the high ceilings and unmade sheets in warm, heavy silence.
Jungkook didn't let go of your hand right away. His large, calloused fingers stayed interlaced with yours, the thin band of gold on his knuckle pressing firmly against yours. When he finally dropped your hand, it was only to reach for the hem of his oversized black hoodie, yanking it up and over his head in one fluid motion, tossing it blindly onto the low leather ottoman.
Under the dim lamplight, his bare torso was taut, the defined ridges of his abs and the sweep of his dark tattoo sleeve catching the faint shadows. He turned to face you, running a hand through his damp, disheveled bangs, his chest rising and falling in deep, measured breaths. His doe eyes were unusually dark, fixed on you with an intensity that felt entirely foreign compared to the bratty, combative boy who usually kicked your shins under the dining table.
"You really don't have a clue what was going on today, do you?" Jungkook asked, his voice raspy, vibrating low in the quiet room.
You crossed your arms over your oversized tee, raising an eyebrow at him with complete, stubborn confidence. "I know you were freaking out and throwing pillows because everyone caught you sweating and acting weird. You looked like you were trying to wrestle a ghost under the covers."
A short, breathy scoff broke from his lips, half amusement and half sheer disbelief. He took two slow steps forward, closing the distance between you until his broad shoulders completely blocked out the rest of the room. "A ghost. Right. Yeah, {{user}}, I was having an intense wrestling match."
"See? I told you," you stated, smug that your logic held up. "You always get twitchy when you skip your gym sessions. You get all that extra energy and then you start thrashing around like an idiot."
Jungkook stared down at you for several long seconds, his jaw setting tight. The faint flush that had lingered on the tips of his ears since the library meeting flared up again, but this time, he didn't shrink away or pull up a hood to hide. He reached out, his warm palms settling squarely onto your hips over the thin fabric of your shirt, his fingers gripping with a sudden, firm weight that made your breath hitch.
"Yeah? You think you're an expert on my energy?" he murmured, leaning down slightly so his face was level with yours. "You think you could handle me in a match?"
You let out an indignant huff, placing your hands against his bare, solid chest to push him back, though he didn't budge an inch. "I’ve beaten you at arm wrestling before, Jeon Jungkook. Don't act tough."
"You cheated by biting my forearm, but fine," he drawled, a wicked, challenging smirk curling the corner of his lips. His thumbs hooked under the hem of your shirt, grazing the bare skin of your waist, sending an unexpected, sharp shiver skittering across your spine. "If you're so confident... how about we settle it right now? Real match. No rules. Just us on the bed."
"Fine," you fired back instantly, fueled by competitive pride. "Loser has to do the morning laundry and fetch breakfast from Jin-oppa."
"Deal," he whispered, his eyes flashing with something dark and hungry.
The match started like every other juvenile brawl you two had engaged in over the past seven years: you lunged forward with a low tackle aimed at his waist, attempting to knock him off balance onto the carpet. But the moment your shoulder hit his midsection, Jungkook’s arms wrapped around your ribcage like iron bands. With effortless, athletic power, he lifted you completely off your feet, turning and tumbling with you straight onto the king-size mattress in a mess of tangled limbs.
You scrambled to flip him over, your knee digging into the mattress, your hands grappling at his wrists. "Pin! One, two—"
Before you could finish the count, Jungkook shifted his hips with terrifying speed. His massive frame rolled, pinning your shoulders flat against the soft pillows, his heavy thighs bracketing yours. He trapped both of your wrists in one large hand, pinning them easily above your head against the headboard, while his chest heaved against yours.
"Nice try, shorty," he breathed, looking down at you through dark bangs, his gaze dropping to your parted lips. "You lose round one."
"Let go, you're heavy!" you gasped, squirming beneath him, your bare legs kicking against his shins. "This isn't fair, you have twenty pounds of muscle on me!"
"Then let's make it an even playing field," he said, his voice dropping into a husky, unsteady whisper. His free hand reached down, his fingers slipping under the hem of your oversized graphic tee once more. "Shirts off. Extra fabric gives you an unfair grip."
You didn't hesitate. In this house, shirts were discarded constantly during summer heat and training sessions. "Fine. Pull it off."
Jungkook’s hand hesitated for a fraction of a second, his breath catching in his throat as if he hadn't expected you to agree so easily. Slowly, reverently, he peeled the cotton shirt over your head and tossed it to the floor. The cool night air hit your bare skin, but the heat radiating off Jungkook’s torso instantly countered the chill. His eyes dragged down your chest, his pupils dilating so completely that the dark brown of his irises was swallowed whole. His jaw worked silently, a faint shudder running through his shoulders.
"Jungkook?" you asked, noticing the sudden, tense pause. "Are we fighting or are you freezing up?"
"Shut up," he rasped, his voice raw. He reached down and yanked off his own sweatpants, kicking them off the edge of the bed along with your loose shorts, stripping down until there was nothing between you but bare skin.
You expected him to lunge for a headlock or try to tickle your ribs into submission. Instead, his entire weight settled over you with an agonizing, deliberate slowness. His bare chest pressed flush against your breasts, the skin-to-skin friction sending an electric shock straight through your nervous system that made your toes curl. His hand released your wrists, but instead of pulling away, his long, heavily tattooed fingers tangled deeply into your hair, tilting your head up.
"Jungkook, wait, this feels—"
His mouth crashed down onto yours before you could finish the sentence.
It wasn't a playful peck or the awkward, distant kiss from your childhood wedding ceremony. It was a deep, bruising, utterly suffocating collision of lips, teeth, and tongue. Jungkook kissed you with a feral, starved desperation that had clearly been locked behind iron bars for years, his tongue sweeping into your mouth, claiming every inch of you while his hand gripped your jaw with fierce possession.
A sharp, confused gasp tore from your throat, muffled entirely by his lips. Your hands, initially raised to shove him off, ended up curling tightly into the muscular curve of his shoulders, your fingernails digging into his skin as a hot, molten ache suddenly blossomed low in your stomach. When he finally broke the kiss for air, a thin, silver strand connected your swollen lips, his doe eyes practically feverish as he hovered inches above you.
"You said... no rules, right?" Jungkook whispered, his breath scorching against your cheek. "You give up, or are you still in?"
You were nineteen, stubborn to a fault, and your entire body was buzzing with a strange, intoxicating heat you didn't understand. "I don't... I don't give up."
A low, guttural growl vibrated in his chest. "Good. Don't say I didn't warn you, wifey."
What followed was unlike any fight you had ever had in your life.
Jungkook was relentless. His athletic, gym-honed body dominated every square inch of the mattress, his mouth trailing down your neck, leaving burning, purple bruises along your collarbone that made you arch your back off the bed with sharp, startled cries. When his hand slid down between your thighs, finding the slick, aching heat gathering there, he let out a choked, ragged sound that was half agony and half triumph.
"Look at you," he rasped against your ear, his voice rough and unsteady, his fingers moving with a firm, practiced friction that had your hips bucking uncontrollably against his palm. "Look what you do to me, {{user}}."
You didn't understand why your body was reacting this way—why the friction made your vision blur and your nails scratch desperate red lines across his shoulder blades, or why the strange ache between your legs felt like a tightrope stretched to its breaking point. You thought he was just using some advanced grappling pressure point to force you into tapping out.
Then, he shifted.
His large hands hooked beneath your thighs, lifting your hips, his broad chest looming over you like an encroaching storm. When the blunt, burning head of his erection pressed firmly against your entrance, your eyes snapped wide in genuine, sudden shock.
"Jungkook, wait—what is that—"
He paused, trembling from head to toe, every muscle in his arms and back locked tight as iron as he looked down at your wide, innocent face. "It's gonna hurt a little at first," he breathed, his voice cracking with sheer restraint, his sweat dripping onto your chest. "Just... hold onto me. Dig your nails into my back. Tell me to stop if you hate it, okay? Tell me."
You didn't tell him to stop. You just wrapped your arms around his neck, bracing yourself.
With a slow, agonizingly steady push, he slid forward, sinking completely inside you.
A sharp, breathless cry tore from your throat as your hands clenched into his hair, your body instinctively tightening around the intrusion. Jungkook let out a loud, broken groan, his forehead dropping heavily onto your shoulder, his teeth sinking gently into the crook of your neck as he waited for your body to adjust, his chest heaving like he had just sprinted a marathon.
"You okay?" he choked out, his voice muffled against your skin. "Tell me."
"It's... tight," you whispered, your voice trembling as your fingers stroked the back of his tense neck. "It feels weird. Like... heavy."
He lifted his head, his dark eyes burning with an intense, possessive warmth that made your chest ache. A slow, breathy chuckle escaped him. "Yeah. It's supposed to."
Once the initial sting faded into a throbbing, overwhelming fullness, Jungkook didn't hold back.
He was twenty years old, overflowing with years of repressed desire, adrenaline, and possessive energy. He moved with a deep, punishing rhythm that made the heavy mahogany headboard rattle violently against the wall with every thrust. His hands gripped your hips with enough force to leave faint shadows of bruises, angling your body to take him deeper, driving into you with powerful, unyielding strokes that had you crying out into the quiet room.
You clutched his back, your legs tangling around his waist, entirely overwhelmed by the friction, the sweat, the sheer physical intensity of his body crashing against yours over and over. You thought you were holding your ground in the wildest, most bizarre wrestling match of your life, even as waves of dizzying, blinding pleasure crashed over your skull, making your toes curl and your hips rise to meet his furious rhythm.
When he finally came, it was with a deep, ragged shout into the hollow of your neck, his hips stuttering forward in desperate, hard pulses, spilling deep inside you while his entire body shook with violent tremors. He collapsed on top of you, heavy and drenched in sweat, his heartbeat thudding against your ribs like a war drum.
The pale light of Monday morning filtered through the bedroom sheer curtains.
You woke up with a groan, your eyelids heavy, trying to roll over to stretch your legs.
A sharp, burning ache shot through your inner thighs, your lower abdomen, and your hips, making you wince and hiss through your teeth. Your muscles felt like you had run fifteen miles uphill while carrying a sack of wet cement. Every single joint below your waist was stiff, tender, and visibly marked with faint purple smudges.
Beside you, Jungkook was already half-awake, propped up on one elbow, staring down at you with an expression of quiet, intensely focused contemplation. He looked completely refreshed, though a faint, dark smudge of exhaustion sat beneath his doe eyes. His hair was sticking up in all directions, and his broad back was covered in distinct, angry red scratches.
"Good morning, loser," you croaked out, your throat surprisingly scratchy as you tried to sit up, only to immediately collapse back onto the pillows with a pathetic whine. "Ow, ow, ow... what the hell did you do to my legs?!"
Jungkook blinked at you, his brow furrowing. "What?"
"That naked wrestling technique was completely unfair!" you complained loudly, rubbing the sore muscle of your hip through the duvet. "You went way too hard! My whole groin feels like it was crushed in a hydraulic press! I can barely even close my knees! You cheated!"
The room fell completely silent.
Jungkook stared at you. He looked at your indignant, genuinely annoyed expression, then down at the scratches on his own shoulders, then back at your face.
His jaw slowly unhinged.
"Naked... wrestling?" Jungkook repeated, his voice cracking slightly on the first syllable.
"Yes! What else would it be?!" you snapped, crossing your arms and glaring at him. "You pinned me, you wouldn't let me move, and you kept ramming your hip into mine until I couldn't breathe! You're an aggressive, ruthless monster! I demand a rematch next week, but with rules this time!"
A cold, paralyzing realization seemed to wash over Jungkook’s entire body.
He sat bolt upright, the sheets falling to his waist, his doe eyes expanding to the size of dinner plates as he stared at you in absolute, mounting horror. The reality of what had transpired over the last eight hours—his frantic, unprotected finish deep inside you, your complete and utter lack of basic biological comprehension, and the fact that you were nineteen and entirely unmedicated—hit his brain like an anvil dropped from a helicopter.
"Oh," Jungkook whispered, his voice turning completely hollow, the color rapidly draining from his handsome face until he looked like a sheet of fresh printer paper. "Oh, holy fuck."
"What?" you asked, frowning at his sudden pale state. "Are you getting that twitchy ghost fever again?"
"No. No, no, no," Jungkook muttered frantically, scrambling across the king-size bed on all fours, tangling himself in the sheets before nearly face-planting onto the hardwood floor. He snatched his sweatpants off the rug, violently shoving his legs into them while hopping on one foot, his hands trembling as he yanked a random t-shirt over his head. "Stay there. Don't move. Don't walk. Keep your legs closed."
"Why would I keep my legs closed?!" you yelled after him, confused and irritated. "I need to pee!"
"Just wait five minutes!" he barked, his voice laced with pure, unadulterated panic as he grabbed his phone, his wallet, and his car keys off the dresser. He unlocked the master bedroom door, threw it open, and sprinted down the hallway like an Olympic sprinter whose pants were on fire, his heavy footsteps thundering down the grand marble staircase.
Downstairs in the kitchen, the usual morning peacefulness was brutally shattered.
Seokjin was standing at the island, peacefully pouring hot water over fresh coffee grounds in a glass pour-over carafe. Yoongi was reading an entertainment industry contract at the table, while Namjoon was quietly chewing a piece of buttered whole-wheat toast.
Jungkook came skidding into the kitchen on his socks, sliding three feet across the polished tile before violently catching himself against the edge of the marble island.
He was panting, his hair wild, his eyes bloodshot with adrenaline, clutching his car keys in a white-knuckled fist.
"Where is the nearest twenty-four-hour pharmacy?" Jungkook choked out, his voice cracking loudly across the silent room.
Seokjin paused, the kettle frozen mid-pour. He turned slowly, his sharp eyes narrowing as he took in his youngest brother’s frantic, sweat-streaked appearance. "Why? Did you hurt yourself working out again?"
"No," Jungkook gasped, clutching his chest with his free hand, pacing back and forth in front of the island like a caged animal. "Not me. Her. I need... what’s the pill called? The morning one. The emergency one. Does it need a prescription?! Can I just buy twenty boxes?! Namjoon-hyung, do you know a private doctor who can write a script right now?!"
Yoongi’s pen froze on the contract paper.
Namjoon stopped chewing his toast. He slowly lowered the bread to his plate, took off his tortoiseshell reading glasses, and stared at the youngest with an expression of profound, terrifying focus.
"Jungkook," Namjoon said, his voice dropping into a deadly, quiet baritone. "Explain what you just said."
"We did it!" Jungkook yelled, throwing his hands in the air, his volume completely uncontrollable in his state of sheer hysteria. "Okay?! We did it! You told me to stop being a coward, Jin-hyung told me to be a man, so we did it!"
Seokjin dropped the electric kettle. It hit the counter with a loud clack, spilling hot water across the marble. "You... you did?"
"YES!" Jungkook wailed, running both hands violently through his dark hair, pulling at the roots. "And I didn't pull out! I didn't use a rubber! I didn't do anything because I lost my damn mind!"
"You didn't use protection?" Yoongi’s gravelly voice cut through the room, cold and lethal as ice. He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms, his narrow eyes boring into Jungkook’s skull. "You are twenty years old, with an elite education, and you didn't use protection on your nineteen-year-old wife?"
"I PANICKED, OKAY?!" Jungkook shouted, his face turning a furious, mottled shade of crimson. "And that's not even the worst part! The worst part is she doesn't even know what happened! She thinks we were doing 'naked wrestling'! She complained that her groin hurts from my 'grappling technique' and demanded a rematch next week!"
The kitchen went dead, absolute silent.
From the archway leading to the dining room, Hoseok, Jimin, and Taehyung had just walked in, completely freezing in their tracks at the tail end of the explanation.
Jimin slowly covered his mouth with both hands, his eyes bulging with such violent, hysterical amusement that his knees literally buckled, forcing him to lean against the wall for support. Taehyung blinked once, his boxy jaw dropping slightly, before slowly giving Jungkook a quiet, respectful thumbs-up.
"A wrestling match," Seokjin whispered. The eldest brother looked up at the high ceiling, his face turning entirely pale as he rested both palms flat against the wet counter. "She thinks... my sweet, sheltered, innocent little girl thinks she had a wrestling match... and now you've put a baby inside her."
"I DIDN'T PUT A BABY INSIDE HER YET, THAT'S WHY I NEED THE PHARMACY!" Jungkook shrieked, his voice hitting dog-whistle territory as he lunged toward Namjoon, shaking the elder brother by his cardigan lapels. "Hyung! What is the brand name?! Is it Plan B?! Is there a Plan A?! How many hours do I have?!"
"Get your hands off my sweater!" Namjoon barked, shoving him back, though his own ears were glowing bright red. "You have seventy-two hours, you absolute moron! But you need to get it immediately! And you need to explain it to her gently so she doesn't think you're poisoning her!"
"I’m driving," Hoseok announced, immediately reaching for his car keys on the entryway hook, his face a mixture of maternal stress and high-speed panic. "Give me the keys. You’re shaking too hard to operate heavy machinery. You’ll wrap your sports car around an oak tree before you make it to the main gate."
"I'm coming with you," Jimin wheezed, wiping actual tears of laughter from his cheeks as he stumbled toward the door. "I have to witness the Jeon Jungkook pharmacy transaction with my own eyes. I will pay cash for this memory."
"Don't you dare come!" Jungkook snapped, his teeth bared like a cornered dog as he chased Hoseok toward the front foyer. "Hoseok-hyung, let's go! Move faster!"
Upstairs, completely oblivious to the pharmaceutical emergency deployment occurring in the driveway, you slowly dragged yourself out of the master suite.
You were wearing a fresh pair of Jungkook’s soft grey sweatpants and another oversized t-shirt, walking down the wide hallway with a distinct, wide-legged, gingerly waddle. Every step sent a tender, throbbing ache radiating through your pelvis.
You gripped the mahogany handrail of the grand staircase, taking each step down one by one, your brow furrowed with pure annoyance.
When you finally reached the kitchen, Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Taehyung were still standing by the island in tense, heavy silence.
"Morning," you muttered, limping over to the nearest barstool and gingerly perching on the edge of the cushion with a soft wince. "Jin-oppa... does this house have any muscle rub? Or an ice pack? Jungkook fought dirty last night and I think he pulled my groin ligament."
Seokjin slowly closed his eyes, taking a deep, shuddering breath through his nose, muttering a silent prayer under his breath.
Yoongi slid a glass of warm water across the marble toward you, his pale face remarkably composed, though a faint, dark smirk twitched at the edge of his lips.
"Drink your water, kid," Yoongi murmured, resting a hand gently on top of your head. "Your husband went to the store to buy you some... specialized wrestling supplements. He'll be back in ten minutes to explain the rules of the championship belt."

The deadbolt on the double mahogany doors had indeed been removed by Namjoon’s orders, replaced with a smooth brass plate that offered zero locking mechanism. Yet curiously enough, the six older brothers had abruptly developed an aggressive, almost militant habit of knocking—sharp, three-beat warnings followed by five full seconds of polite throat-clearing before anyone dared turn the knob. After the trauma of that infamous Sunday afternoon, none of them had the stomach for another visual hazard.
Meanwhile, the dynamic between you and your twenty-year-old husband had shifted into something loud, shameless, and completely chaotic.
The initial barrier of seven years of awkward best-friend denial had crumbled entirely. But because neither of you had ever had a conventional teenage romance, the intimacy didn't manifest as shy hand-holding or delicate candlelit dinners. It took the form of what you still stubbornly, loudly referred to as "nightly championship sparring."
To your sheltered mind, the bed was simply a regulation wrestling ring. It was a contest of endurance where Jungkook would inevitably pin your wrists, peel away your clothes under the excuse of "proper athletic mobility," and drive you into the mattress with an athletic, punishing intensity that left the heavy wooden headboard groaning against the wall studs. Every round ended with you gasping for breath, limbs trembling, skin marked with flushed friction burns, while Jungkook collapsed over your chest, slick with sweat and buried in your neck like an overgrown, purring predator.
You gave full consent every single time. In fact, you demanded rematches with sheer, unyielding stubbornness whenever you felt you had almost turned the tables. The problem, however, was that Jungkook was an elite-tier athlete in the absolute prime of his physical development, possessed zero concept of pacing himself when it came to you, and—most catastrophically—his brain completely short-circuited the second his skin met yours.
The pharmacy emergency run from three months ago had yielded a drawer full of glossy foil packets, neatly purchased under Namjoon’s stern supervision.
Yet, in the heat of every single "match"—when you were wrapping your bare legs around his hips, tugging his dark hair, and daring him to prove he could pin you down—those shiny foil packets remained entirely undisturbed in the bedside drawer. Jungkook would lose his damn mind within thirty seconds, overwhelmed by the intoxicating friction and possessive heat, driving straight into the finish without a shred of latex in sight.
Which brought the household to a crisp, late-autumn Tuesday morning.
Down in the sun-drenched breakfast room, the table was laid out with Seokjin’s usual culinary spread: soft-boiled eggs, steaming bowls of abalone porridge, fresh kimchi, and tall glasses of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice.
Yoongi was slumped in his usual chair at the head of the side wing, his dark beanie pulled low over his eyes, lazily stirring honey into a small bowl of plain Greek yogurt. Namjoon was reviewing architectural blueprints for the family foundation's new cultural center, while Hoseok was busily watering a row of miniature bonsai trees along the bay window, humming softly under his breath.
At the far end of the table, Jimin and Taehyung were engaged in a low-stakes argument over an antique leather jacket they had both attempted to wear to a gallery opening the night before.
Then, from the grand marble staircase, came the sound.
Thump... pause... drag. Thump... pause... drag.
Every single fork, spoon, and pen in the room paused simultaneously.
Yoongi didn't even lift his head; he simply closed his eyes and let out a long, tragic sigh through his teeth. "Here comes the wounded soldier."
You appeared in the arched kitchen entrance, looking like a survivor emerging from an earthquake rubble pile. You were swimming in one of Jungkook’s massive black thermal shirts that reached down to your knees, your hair tied in a loose, lopsided bun held together by a pencil, your face pale and puffy with sleep.
Most notably, you were walking with a wide-legged, excruciatingly slow, agonizingly tender waddle, clutching the doorframe with one hand while pressing a flat palm against your lower spine. Every step required immense, visible concentration, your face scrunching into a dramatic wince as your inner thighs protested the simple act of existing.
"Morning," you rasped, your voice hoarse from hours of breathless shouting into down pillows the previous night.
"Good morning, sweetheart," Seokjin said smoothly, not even blinking as he immediately set down a plush memory-foam seat cushion onto the sturdy oak dining chair before you could even ask. "Sit carefully. I warmed the herbal compress on the counter if you need it for your lower back."
You gingerly lowered yourself onto the cushion, hissing sharply through your teeth as your pelvis made contact with the surface. "Thank you, Jin-oppa. I swear, that boy is using illegal techniques. He took out my hip joint yesterday. I felt a tendon snap. I’m pretty sure he practiced an Olympic judo flip on me."
"An Olympic judo flip," Namjoon repeated in a dead, emotionless monotone, not looking up from his architectural blueprints, though the vein on his temple gave a distinct, rhythmic pulse. "Fascinating. At two in the morning, the seismic monitors in the basement must have registered that flip."
"It went until three, actually," you corrected earnestly, reaching for a piece of toast with a weary groan. "I had him in a headlock at one point, but then he did that thing where he grabs my waist and just... drives forward until I hit the headboard. It’s impossible to defend against. He’s too heavy."
Hoseok dropped his brass watering can onto the bay window sill with a loud clatter. He pressed both palms against his face, his ears glowing neon red, taking three deep, structured yoga breaths to keep his soul anchored inside his physical body. "Lord grant me strength. Grant me the patience of the ancient monks. I do not need the tactical play-by-play while I am tending to my ficus trees."
"Did you win, at least?" Taehyung asked with a serene, straight-faced curiosity, leaning over the table with his chin resting in his palm, totally unbothered by the sheer domestic absurdity.
"I survived," you said proudly, though another sharp spasm in your hip made you instantly regret sitting upright. "Which is basically a technical draw. But I’m making him rub peppermint salve into my calves tonight. He owes me."
"Oh, he owes you far more than peppermint salve," a quiet, venomous voice drifted from the doorway.
Jungkook walked into the breakfast room.
He was wearing light grey sweatpants and a tight black compression tank top that displayed every sculpted curve of his chest, broad shoulders, and the sprawling black-ink sleeve trailing down his right arm. He looked infuriatingly radiant—jawline sharp, dark doe eyes bright and full of rested vigor, his skin glowing with that disgusting post-workout vitality that made everyone else want to throw a shoe at him.
He had three long, faint pink scratch marks trailing down the left side of his neck, disappearing under the collar of his tank top.
"Morning," Jungkook muttered casually, scratching the back of his messy dark hair as he strolled toward the kitchen island to grab his pre-mixed protein shaker. He bypassed his older brothers completely and stopped behind your chair. With zero shame, his large, heavily tattooed hand reached down, his palm settling over the crown of your head and ruffling your hair with that familiar, possessive warmth. "You walking better today, shorty?"
"Don't touch me, you brute," you grumbled, swatting weakly at his muscular forearm without actually trying to move away. "You crushed my pelvis. You're banned from the left side of the mattress for a week."
"You were the one who yelled 'round three' at midnight," Jungkook scoffed, an infuriating smirk playing on his lips as he leaned down, pressing his thumb playfully against the side of your neck right over a dark purple bruise. "Don't get cocky if you can't back it up."
Before you could kick his shin under the table, Yoongi’s spoon hit his ceramic bowl with a sharp, ringing snap.
"Jungkook," Yoongi said, his gravelly voice dropping an octave into that dangerous territory where even the chandeliers seemed to stop vibrating.
Jungkook paused, his protein shaker hovering inches from his mouth. He looked over at the second brother, his posture instantly stiffening like a recruit facing an inspection officer. "Yeah, Hyung?"
Yoongi didn't raise his voice. He simply leaned back in his chair, folding his pale arms across his chest, his dark, narrow eyes locking onto the younger boy with terrifying, razor-sharp clarity.
"The drawer," Yoongi stated plainly.
The blood drained from Jungkook’s face so rapidly it looked like someone had pulled a drain plug from his heels. His doe eyes widened in sudden, petrified recognition. "What... what drawer?"
"The bedside drawer," Yoongi continued, his voice calm, methodical, and completely lethal. "The one Namjoon stocked seventy-five days ago with three commercial-grade bulk boxes of medical-grade latex. The one that Hoseok personally organized by expiration date. The one I checked yesterday afternoon while looking for my studio headphone adapter."
The entire dining room froze.
Seokjin halted mid-pour of the orange juice carafe. Namjoon slowly lowered his blue architectural pen. Hoseok turned around from his plants with an expression of rising, apocalyptic dread.
Jungkook’s throat bobbed in a hard, audible swallow. He took a half-step backward away from your chair, his hands suddenly trembling as he held his shaker cup like a hostage. "Hyung... you were looking for an adapter in our room?"
"The adapter doesn't matter, you absolute clown," Yoongi growled, leaning forward until his knuckles turned white against the table edge. "What matters is that the seal on all three boxes was unbroken. Not a single wrapper has been torn in three entire months."
"WHAT?!" Seokjin’s voice exploded into an ear-splitting, glass-rattling scream that made the porcelain saucers jump off the mahogany. The eldest brother dropped his juice carafe onto the marble island, clutching both sides of his head in sheer, unadulterated panic. "UNBROKEN?! THREE MONTHS OF NIGHTLY GYMNASTICS AND NOT ONE WRAPPER?!"
"I—wait, Jin-hyung, let me explain!" Jungkook wailed, his voice cracking into high soprano territory as he threw his hands up defensively, backing away toward the kitchen cabinets like a cornered raccoon. "It's not what it looks like! I had plans! I always start with good intentions!"
"Good intentions?!" Hoseok shrieked, dancing in place by the window, waving a pair of pruning shears wildly in the air like a madman. "Good intentions do not prevent an heir to the Jeon conglomerate from manifesting inside a teenager’s uterus! Are you insane?! What happened to the pharmacy lecture?! What happened to the seventy-two-hour rule?!"
You looked between Seokjin’s purple face, Hoseok’s frantic shears, and Jungkook’s absolute, hyperventilating terror, your brow knotting in pure, utter confusion.
"Why are you all screaming about wrappers?" you asked, chewing on your toast and tilting your head at Yoongi. "What does plastic wrap have to do with wrestling? Do you put plastic on the bed so we don't sweat on the sheets?"
Jimin, who had been quietly sipping his green tea, choked so violently that liquid came out of his nose. He dropped his cup, slumped sideways against Taehyung’s shoulder, and buried his face into the leather jacket, his shoulders convulsing in silent, breathless, dying shrieks of laughter.
"She thinks—oh god, please," Jimin wheezed, pounding his fist against Taehyung’s knee, tears streaming down his flushed cheeks. "She thinks it's a mattress protector! Someone call the mortician, I am passing into the next realm!"
"Shut up, Jimin!" Jungkook roared, his entire face, neck, and chest turning the color of an overcooked beet as he lunged toward the table, desperate to silence his brother. "Don't you dare! Don't you dare laugh!"
"Jeon Jungkook," Namjoon’s voice cut through the madness like an iron blade. The household head stood up, towering at the end of the table, his tortoiseshell glasses sliding down his nose, his broad shoulders squared in cold, terrifying authority. "Step out into the corridor. Right now."
"Hyung, please, she's right here!" Jungkook pleaded, his doe eyes practically watering with humiliation as he pointed at you. "Don't do this in front of {{user}}! I'm an adult! I have a black card! I pay corporate taxes!"
"You pay corporate taxes, but you have the impulse control of a golden retriever in a tennis ball factory," Yoongi snapped, rising from his chair with an effortless, chilling grace. "Move your legs before I drag you by your ears."
"Wait, where are you taking him?" you asked, trying to stand up to defend your sparring partner, only for a sharp, screaming ache in your lower abdomen to force you right back down onto the memory foam with a pained squeak. "Ow! Hey! Don't beat him up, he has to help me walk up the stairs later!"
Seokjin marched over, gently pressing a warm, soothing palm to your shoulder to keep you seated, his face softening with tragic, paternal tenderness.
"Eat your porridge, my little dumpling," Jin whispered, his voice trembling with forced calmness as he pushed the ceramic bowl closer to you. "Drink your juice. Your husband just needs a brief, highly educational refresher course on basic mechanical engineering. We will return him to you in one piece... mostly."
"Jin-hyung, no!" Jungkook cried out as Yoongi and Namjoon flanked him like state prison guards, each gripping one of his muscular biceps and marching him firmly out through the dining room archway. "I forgot, okay?! It happens fast! She starts grabbing my shirt and I lose my train of thought! Tae-hyung, help me!"
Taehyung didn't move an inch. He simply picked up a strawberry from the fruit bowl, popped it into his mouth, and gave his youngest brother a serene, pitying salute as the boy was dragged down the marble corridor toward the soundproof study.
The heavy oak doors of the study slammed shut with a muffled, distant boom.
Silence returned to the breakfast room, thick, vibrating, and accompanied only by the faint, muffled sounds of Seokjin’s aggressive lecturing echoing through the ventilation shafts.
You sat on your memory-foam cushion, blinking slowly at the remaining brothers, your spoon poised halfway between your bowl and your mouth.
"Tae-oppa," you muttered, squinting across the table at him. "Seriously. What wrappers were they talking about? Why does everyone care if Jungkook forgets them?"
Taehyung chewed his strawberry thoughtfully, swallowed, and leaned his elbows onto the polished mahogany. His deep, velvety baritone was completely smooth, completely devoid of shame, carrying that quiet, unbothered mischief that always spelled disaster.
"Well, {{user}}," Taehyung murmured, tilting his head with a slow, boxy smile. "You know how when you plant a seed in the garden, you have to water it, and then a few months later, a little sprout pops up through the soil?"
"Yeah...?" you answered hesitantly.
"Well, your husband has been dumping an entire agricultural irrigation system into your garden every single night for ninety days," Taehyung explained with serene, scientific precision. "And our dear older brothers are terrified that in about six months, a very small, very loud, very annoying little weed is going to start crying in the master bedroom."
The dining room went entirely still.
You stared at him, your hand frozen around your ceramic spoon, your brain processing the sentence like an ancient computer attempting to run high-speed graphics.
A seed. An agricultural irrigation system. A little sprout.
Slowly, your gaze drifted down to your own stomach, hidden beneath the folds of Jungkook’s massive black thermal shirt. You remembered the intense heat, the ragged, heavy weight of him pinning you down night after night, the way he would shudder and bury his face into your neck, panting broken apologies against your skin while something warm and heavy pooled deep inside your core.
You remembered the white smear on the navy boxers from three months ago.
You remembered the emergency pharmacy run that you thought was for muscle soreness.
And then, like a lightning strike hitting an open field, every single piece of biological reality crashed through your skull all at once.
The spoon slipped from your fingers, clattering loudly against the edge of the porcelain bowl.
Your mouth fell open.
"Wait," you whispered, your voice barely a squeak as your eyes widened to the size of saucers, your hands flying down to cover your lower stomach in sheer, paralyzed shock. "Wait... THAT'S WHAT WRESTLING DOES?!"
From across the table, Jimin let out another strangled, dying wheeze, sliding completely off his chair and disappearing under the table in a heap of hysterical, weeping laughter.
And from down the corridor, behind the heavy mahogany doors of the study, the terrified, muffled screech of Jeon Jungkook rang out once more:
"I SWEAR I’LL BUY THE TWENTY-FOUR PACK TODAY! HYUNG, PUT THE BELT DOWN!"

Three years had brought an effortless, seamless rhythm to the Jeon estate. You were twenty-two now, Jungkook was twenty-three, and the chaotic roughhousing of your teenage years had mellowed into a grounded, fiercely affectionate marriage. The bickering, butt-smacks, and stolen oversized hoodies never really went away, but they were balanced by quiet mornings wrapped together under the covers and an unshakable trust built across a decade of shared life.
Until the faint, fluttering nausea had started weeks ago.
At first, you had blamed Seokjin’s excessively rich beef marrow stews, late-night university study sessions, and the stress of your final portfolio. But when your cycle didn't arrive for two full months, a quiet suspicion had bloomed in the back of your mind.
Terrified of triggering the full-scale panic that had gripped the household three years prior, you kept your mouth firmly shut. You slipped away from the estate quietly on a Tuesday morning under the pretense of browsing an antique bookstore, booking an appointment under an alias at a private women's clinic on the southern side of the city.
The cold acoustic gel, the rhythmic thump-thump-thump of the monitor, and the doctor’s warm smile confirmed what you were barely prepared to hear: twelve weeks. Three full months. A healthy, fluttering heartbeat and a tiny, curled silhouette tucked safely inside you.
Tears had welled in your eyes as you held the glossy ultrasound strip in your trembling fingers. You had kept it tucked safely into the interior zip of your wool coat, your chest aching with an overwhelming, tender anticipation. You couldn't wait to see Jungkook's wide, glossy doe eyes, to watch Namjoon drop his books in disbelief, to let Seokjin fret over prenatal broths with real, joyous cause.
Stepping out into the grand atrium of the medical center's ground floor, you pulled your coat tighter against the November chill, looking toward the exit to call a private car.
Then, your footsteps halted.
Near the floor-to-ceiling glass doors of the private VIP wing, standing by the sleek granite fountain, was Jungkook.
He was wearing his long black wool coat over a charcoal knit turtleneck, hair pushed back, looking impossibly sharp, mature, and striking. But he wasn't alone.
Standing inches from him was an exquisitely dressed, slender woman in an ivory tailored coat, her delicate hand resting familiarly on the lapel of Jungkook’s coat. Jungkook was leaning down, speaking in hushed, earnest murmurs, his face intensely focused. As you watched, frozen in place like a stone monument, the woman smiled softly, reaching up to adjust the wool scarf around his throat. Jungkook didn't pull away. He reached out, his large, tattooed hand gently catching her elbow, steadying her as she stepped down the low stair toward a waiting black luxury sedan, murmuring something that made her laugh and lean briefly into his side.
The atrium around you seemed to lose all sound. The rush of passing doctors, the hum of fluorescent lights, the chime of elevator bells—everything muted into a ringing, hollow void.
Your fingers inside your coat pocket tightened so hard around the ultrasound printout that the edges crumpled against your palm.
Twelve weeks.
Three years of quiet promises. Three years of him whispering into your collarbone that nobody else would ever hold his attention, that you were the only home he had ever known.
Your throat tightened, burning with a suffocating, icy ache. You didn't march over. You didn't scream, throw a scene, or demand answers in a crowded medical lobby. The sheltered, quiet instinct that had kept you small when you first arrived at the estate as an abandoned twelve-year-old took over entirely.
You turned on your heel, pulled your scarf up over your trembling chin, and slipped out through the secondary rear exit into the cold afternoon drizzle.
The drive back to the Jeon estate was a blur of grey roads and silent, hot tears that you aggressively wiped away before they could mark your cheeks.
When you quietly pushed through the heavy front doors, the estate was warm and smelling of roasted garlic and cedarwood. The quiet, ambient hum of the brothers' voices drifted from the open kitchen and living room.
"{{user}}-ah? Is that you?" Seokjin’s cheerful voice called out as you slipped off your damp boots in the foyer. "You’ve been out for four hours! I made braised short ribs, wash your hands—"
"I have a terrible headache, Jin-oppa," your voice came out flat, hollowed out of every drop of energy. You didn't even look toward the dining room archway where Hoseok was setting down water glasses and Jimin was laughing on the couch. "I'm going straight up to sleep."
"Wait, did you eat lunch?" Namjoon’s voice chimed in from the library corridor, sounding concerned. "You look pale—"
"Just tired," you cut him off softly, keeping your head lowered, your hand tightly tucked inside your coat pocket as you hurried up the wide marble stairs before any of them could read the devastation written across your face.
Upstairs, the master bedroom was quiet and dim.
You pushed the door shut, locking it in place with the newly restored secondary latch, and sank down against the wood, sliding to the floor. The crumpled ultrasound printout fell into your lap.
Your fingers shook as you looked at the tiny, grainy white arc on the paper—the little life growing inside you that you thought was the start of a whole new world, while your husband had been outside, leaning close to another woman in the cold air.
Downstairs, the front door clicked open again, followed by the familiar, heavy thud of combat boots, Jungkook’s deep, energetic voice calling out over the foyer:
"Hyungs, I’m back! Is {{user}} home yet?"
