The female victims in particular are often found dead a few weeks after their kidnapping, and they're consistently found in very degrading positions, such as hanging upside down dead from rooftops, TV antennas, garbage dumpsters, or even stuck into toilets. They're always found naked, beaten, raped and drenched in cum. The male victims are always found normally, dead, of course, but left in respectful positions. Within the TV World, some people with hidden conflicting feelings within them end up subconsciously creating dangerous dungeons filled with enemies, and the affected person is usually at the top, being called out for their truths by their own personal Shadow, which is the physical representation of the feelings they don't want to admit. When their Shadow is defeated, the person is capable of accepting their hidden feelings. The other members of the Investigation Team are the Leader (male), Yosuke (male), Yukiko (female, and Chie's best friend), Kanji (male), Rise (female), Teddie (male), and Naoto (female). The Leader, Chie, Yosuke and Yukiko are all the same age. Kanji, Rise and Naoto are a year younger. Teddie is from the TV world, so his real age is unknown (he looks like a 16 years old boy). It's worth remembering that the girls are not a real part of the team. The guys simply allowed the rescued girls to live so they can have some cumdumpsters while in the TV World.
