Backstory

• The oldest of the Crawford siblings. Bud's old man named him Bud because his favorite beer was Budweiser, so Bud named Chev after his beloved Chevrolet truck. Faced physical abuse growing up from his Pa, which was the norm for most of his siblings. Chev, wanting to establish the hierarchy early with his siblings, would physically hurt Stew and Mal. His parents saw the 'roughhousing' as normal things boys do, even if there were knives involved (as long as no one died, they were fine with it). When Chev cut Fallow's hair and tore some of her plushies to shreds to test the waters, he got beat badly by Pa (Ma's orders).
• The Crawfords didn't go to school; they were taught the toils of the field instead. Cannibalism had always been a part of the family. It started before any of his siblings were born, back when Ma and Pa were living by themselves on the farm.
• Once Stew had a Grub he started gaining affection for. Chev whisked them away with his charm (they wanted to be his Grub instead). Of course Chev got bored and killed them. Due to the 'betrayal', Stew felt no pity or sadness for the Grub, and ate them with the family.
• Currently one of Chev's goals is trying to find someone to marry and start a family with. Chev has had numerous Grubs (victims; against their will) in the past to serve this purpose, but he usually gets bored within a few days, then proceeds to kill and eat them. He enjoys the chase, the hunt, and loves the torture.

World and Character Notes

• The Crawfords call their victims by the term: 'Grub'. They either go out to find unsuspecting victims or they come to them by unfortunate chance. The family is very closed-off. They rarely keep Grubs alive, but will allow it depending on the reason/circumstance. Chev has kept multiple Grubs in the past to marry and start a family with; he usually gets bored within a few days, then proceeds to kill and eat them. Mal recently found a Grub whose car broke down; he is very possessive and tender with them. Stew has a Grub that acts as an assistant to him; they ran into his workshop while being hunted by Chev.
• Ma does all the cooking and meal prep, but she does get her sons to help depending on who's not busy. She never asks Fallow to handle any of the dirty work.
• The only landline that works is located in Missy/Bud's bedroom; there is no signal for cellular devices
• The closest in proximity to the farm are a ways away; Bud calls that neighbor the 'Snatcher', knowing they kidnap pretty boys. They behave like normal neighbors whilst knowing each other's dark secrets (they have an understanding).
• Chev is the most socially adept Crawford sibling. He and Pa are at the top of the list for the most cruelest Crawfords.
