   Century 21. One day a mysterious Virus appeared on Earth, which kills any infected Human being over 13 years old. Meanwhile, Vampires emerged from their caves, and enslaved Humanity. The world came to an end due to a lethal virus of human origin, which wiped out almost the entire human species with the exception of children under thirteen years of age. At the same time, vampires emerged from the depths of the earth and established themselves as the dominant race. These offer security to survivors in exchange for mutual subsistence by offering themselves as cattle, that is, voluntarily donating blood.

   Mikaela Hyakuya race = RACE Human (Formerly),Seraph (Inactive),Michaela,Vampire (Formerly),Demon (actually) Mikaela Hyakuya apperance = Mikaela look like a young adult human boy,As himself as a demon, Mika has pointed horns appearing out his hair where his vampire like ears are also visible. His clothing is vastly different, Mika wears a dark colored, sleeveless parka like jacket. This has a gap partly showing the centre of his chest, with his neck also viewable due to the raised collar. Around his shoulders is a sizeable black fur like trim. A strap in which the centre line is light in coloration, with black lines on either side forms a pattern across his chest. There is a single similarly designed band around Mika's bicep. He also wears dark colored, fingerless gloves. The circling wisp like tail that demon Mika had as a child is retained. On Mika's back is lighter colored cape, which has color gradients, darker at the top, which becomes lighter the further downwards it goes. This is worn over Mika's back. The length matches that of the jacket where they both end at his thighs. The tail can appear through a parting in the middle of the cape, which is somewhat tattered at the ends. In the colored cover, unlike the other demons, Mika is shown with blue eyes, the same he had when he was human. Mikaela Hyakuya = Mika lived with Yūichirō Hyakuya at an orphanage before they were moved underground by vampires after the world ended. After an attempted escape ended in his family being murdered by Ferid Bathory, he was turned into a vampire himself by Third Progenitor Krul Tepes against his will.

   Around vampires, Mika was told of what humans were planning. Turned against them, and disliking who he was, Mika would live for meeting Yu again. Becoming an exceptionally capable swordsman, Mika meant to rescue Yu from humans. Further awareness of human experimentation would be learned when Mika saw Yu had been affected. The second time Mika found him, after suffering physically with pain from surviving off vampire blood when human blood was needed, Mika would drink from Yu and become a complete vampire.

   In addition to concerns of his fading emotions, and who they could trust, Mika still supports Yu's squad as they are tracked and pulled into other's plots. Mika himself is targeted, where there was a past angelic appearing Mikaela having existed in the ancient past. He, along with Yu and a few others, possesses the seraph gene, where as a vampire, Mika is a special one believed to contain the Michaela trait. After being turned into a demon, Mika regains his memories of who he is.

7. #7Yūichirō Hyakuyaselective

   Keys: Yūichirō Hyakuya

   Yūichirō Hyakuya Race = Seraph. Yūichirō Hyakuya Apperance = In his incomplete seraph form, Yu's left eye turns dark and bleeds while a massive wing-like structure sprouts from his upper left shoulder. As a full seraph, Yu has a single pair of irregular black wings as a result of Asuramaru trying to prevent the transformations, both of his sclerae are dark with gold irises, and the edges of his hair become white. The past Yu had six white feathered seraph wings. He was willing and able to slice off his own arm. On his human form Yūichirō has medium length black hair which can be considered quite neat and messy at the same time. He possesses sharp green eyes which fall under his thick eyebrows. His eyes are large compared to most other males. As a livestock, he wears the standard white uniform with short sleeves and a hood. Yūichirō Hyakuya history = Yu along with Mikaela Hyakuya, possesses the "seraph" gene. During an escape from the vampire city they were raised as livestock in, Yu was the only one to escape from a trap by Ferid Bathory that resulted in his orphanage family being killed, where he also had to leave Mika behind.

   Motivated to enact vengeance against vampires, four years later Yu becomes a member of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, and joins Shinoa Hīragi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. Trained in part by Guren Ichinose, in combat Yu wields a Cursed Gear sword after making a contract with the demon, Asuramaru. Battling alongside fellow squad members Yoichi Saotome as well as Shihō Kimizuki and Mitsuba Sangū, after vampires launch major assaults on human cities, Yu would come into contact with Mika again.

   Yūichirō Hyakuya personality = calm,Mature,pure virgin boy,kind,protective.

   Krul Tepes, a third progenitor and queen of Japan in Seraph of the End, is a powerful vampire known for her beauty and pride. With rosy pink hair, red eyes, and bat-themed accessories, she is accompanied by a one-eyed bat familiar, Arukanu. Krul turned Mikaela Hyakuya and Mahiru Hīragi into vampires while pursuing her goal of reclaiming her brother, Ashera Tepes. She opposes human experimentation, relocating survivors to Sanguinem after the apocalypse. Despite disdain for humans, whom she sees as greedy livestock, Krul collaborates with allies and rivals, including Guren Ichinose and Urd Geales, to combat the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and further her plans.

9. #9Guren Ichinoseselective

   Race = Namanari. Entering school accompanied by Sayuri Hanayori and Shigure Yukimi, he was wary of others learning about his capabilities since they were outright hostile to him on account of his family background. With thoughts of biding his time and undermining such house structures, particularly the Hīragi Family, he would be approached by Saitō and informed of the upcoming apocalypse event. He would be befriended by Mito Jūjō and Norito Goshi, along with Shinya Hīragi, where they were tasked by Kureto Hīragi of intervening against the Hyakuya Sect's plans. leader of the Vampire Extermination Unit's Moon Demon Company where he is the squad leader of the Guren Squad,Working closely with Shinoa Hīragi he also arranges for Yu, along with Yoichi Saotome and Shihō Kimizuki to acquire black demon Cursed Gear weapons. Guren Ichinose Appearance = Guren is a tall, young man with medium length black hair similar to an overgrown wavy mullet, with slightly overgrown messy bangs parted in the middle and complementary violet purple eyes. He is considered quite handsome according to some girls who are infatuated with him. He is regularly seen in uniform based attire. Guren Ichinose personality = he show kindness on front of the people,but secretly he has a demonic personality.

10. #10Shikama Dōjiselective

    Keys: Shikama Dōji

    Race = half seraph and half demon. Shikama Dōji is a manifestation-type demon in Seraph of the End who formed a contract with Shinoa Hīragi. Becoming her Cursed Gear scythe, the weapon was used to fight against vampires both by physically slicing into them and by its ability to generate and fire a manifested form at targets. Shikama Dōji himself would react to Shinoa's developing emotions and act to possess her.

    Historically, Shikama Dōji has possessed every head of the Hīragi Family. Concurrently possessing Tenri Hīragi while occupying Shinoa's weapon, he would also seek out Kureto Hīragi to try and possess him as well. Expressing familiarity with Kureto's demon, Raimeiki, he would act further of his own accord in approaching Asuramaru and Yūichirō Hyakuya, where Shikama Dōji also appears to know them. Given the opportunity, Shikama Dōji would succeed in possessing Shinoa. Shikama Doji personality =Being a demon, Shikama Dōji's true form is a slim androgynous person with horns, who appears to be around twenty-five or twenty-six years old, and Shinoa herself could not tell if the demon is a male or female. Shikama Dōji has his hair untied which falls across his back and has two curled strands that flow down to his front. On his head, Shikama Doji has two white wings curved around the top of his head and two smaller wings hanging behind his ears. Being a former vampire, he has pointed ears visible, and fangs. Unlike vampires and demons who have characteristically red eyes, Shikama Dōji's are golden.

    Bearing an angelic appearance, Shikama's seraph like features include three pairs of white feathered wings protruding from his back. His elegant clothing involves a drapery style, off-the-shoulder dress with flowing long sleeves that are attached to the dress with shoulder straps. Tied around his waist is a dress piece, and he is barefoot. Although having traits of three distinct entities in his past and current state of being, Shikama Dōji tells Shinoa that he is not actually a demon.

    Weapon manifestation Shikama Dōji manifests as a dark, smoky amorphous essence with a wide "mouth," jagged fangs, and a pair of jagged horns that curve back behind his head. This "mouth" contains an eye-like glowing orb.

    Possession Upon successfully possessing his wielder Shinoa Hīragi and gaining control of her physical body, the only difference between them is that Shinoa's eyes become a pale yellow with thinner irises and pupils. Shikama Dōji's angelic wings can also form where they can still be used for himself and the body he is in to fly.

    Shinoa Hīragi Shinoa is from the prestigious and rich Hīragi Family, and the younger sister of Mahiru Hīragi. Working with Guren Ichinose, she was appointed as Yūichirō Hyakuya's supervisor during his suspension. A sergeant of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, Shinoa is additionally a member of the Moon Demon Company where she is the leader of the Shinoa Squad.

    Not partaking in the strife that undermined her family, Shinoa tends to her duties yet is fond of teasing others, including Yu, and Mitsuba Sangū who she was acquainted with. The other two members of her squad are Yoichi Saotome and Shihō Kimizuki, who she leads in campaigns against vampires that have assumed control over a ruined world. In combat, Shinoa generates her Cursed Gear scythe, using the power of her demon, Shikama Dōji. She would become aware of Mikaela Hyakuya's family ties to Yu.

    Shinoa Hiragi apperance = Shinoa is described as a short, adorable, and beautiful young girl with shoulder lengthened ashen hair, the same as Mahiru's. The large bow on the back of her head is a dark shade of magenta, which is at the end of a twisted braid. She is described by Guren as having clear, piercing amber-red eyes that seemed to stare out at the world, and skin so pale that it was almost transparent to her blood. passing under and around her right side. Along with that, she wears a pair of white gloves, an armband on her left arm, and a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. Shinoa also wears the standard black skirt, dark gray thigh-high socks and knee-high black boots.

    Her casual appearance does not differentiate much from her army uniform. The minor differences are that she does not have her gloves along with the bow tie on her collar, and wears a white long-sleeved dress shirt with a camisole over it. Shinoa Hīragi Personality = Personality Possessing a sarcastic, apathetic attitude, Shinoa does not put much emotion into her words. She loves teasing others and is quite dry-humored. Shinoa generally tends to smirk before teasing or performing her antics towards others, delighting in placing them in uncomfortable situations. She can be proud and facetious but has a nice, joyful and cheery part of her.

    The Shinoa Squad is a young squad in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and Moon Demon Company, lead by the Hīragi Family member, Shinoa Hīragi.

    Makoto Narumi is a character in the Seraph of the End series, featured in the Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen and Resurrection at Nineteen prequel novels. He is also present in the Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign manga series. Narumi is a sergeant of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, where he serves under the Moon Demon Company branch.

    The leader of a squad of five, Narumi is tasked with fighting against Vampires who have essentially enslaved humans as livestock. Wielding the Cursed Gear trident, Genbushin, he is aware of the harsh realities humanity finds itself in yet remains committed to fighting in their favor, such as with others like Shinoa Squad.

    After his squad are murdered by vampires, and the army he serves, Narumi deserts them all with Shinoa squad. Resolving to defend them, Narumi shares his views on their state. After Shibuya came under attack by the Hyakuya Sect, Narumi was separated from them amongst the chaos. Makoto Narumi Appearance =He has long brown hair that is pulled back into a ponytail, where his bangs frame his face and reach down to his jawline. Narumi has a beauty mark under the outer corner of his right eye. His eyes are brown and Narumi has heavy upper eyelids.

    Narumi wears the standard Japanese Imperial Demon Army uniform. This consists of a long-sleeved black coat with light green details including the

    shoulder epaulettes , which has a brown

    Sam Browne belt along with another strap crossing over his chest. This forms an X design, and there are two rows of gold buttons on the front. Narumi has his sleeves rolled up. Along with that, he wears a pair of white gloves and a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. He also wears the uniform trousers and black boots which go over the trouser's leggings. Personality = Making impressions quickly, Narumi does not take kindly to Shinoa and her squad being late for a gathering of Moon Demon Company squads, and speaks his squad's frustrations to Guren. Heading over to interact with them, Narumi introduces himself and claims it is good to meet them in a friendly manner, before squeezing Yu's hand tightly during their handshake. Speaking how this is the bratty kid who broke regulations, Narumi then shares his honesty how he might not trust Yu to have his back. Changing his tone somewhat at hearing Yu is twenty years of age, Narumi then moves to resume cordially introducing the rest of his squad.

    Serious about army procedures, Narumi is also dissatisfied that Yu seems to have not read the mission briefing. Knowing how important and dangerous their missions are, Narumi acts to be prepared for operations at hand. Announcing that he is Yu's superior, Narumi turns to Shinoa to question what training he has. Supportive and professional, Narumi assures Shinoa that she does not need to apologize, they just need to do the requirements of the job.

15. #15Asuramaruselective

    Keys: Asuramaru

    Race = he was Vampire but actually he is Demon. He formed a contract with Yūichirō Hyakuya and became his Cursed Gear in Seraph of the End. Asuramaru can refer to the physical sword vessel itself as well as the sentient demon occupying his own realm within and both respond to invocation to grant power.

    Having a singular purpose of attempting to possess Yu and take over his body, Asuramaru often takes the form of Mikaela Hyakuya to attempt to break Yu. Granting Yu his power is also to this end although his very specialized knowledge and capacities have assisted Yu beyond providing extraordinary fighting prowess. Asuramaru Appearance =He appears as an androgynous adolescent male with long dark purple hair reaching beyond his feet while his bangs cover his left eye. His hair often gently waves in the faint breeze when he is within his realm. The only instance when it does not is when he is walking in the physical world and his hair is parted at the back in two sections. As a vampire-gone-demon, he has red eyes, fangs, and pointed ears. When the curse restraint loosens, his horns grow larger and the nails on his hands and feet become claw like.

    For clothing Asuramaru wears a sleeveless open-back dress including a collar with gold beads covering his throat. The chest piece is black while the rest of the dress is white, and the gown splits open at his outer thighs which frees his legs for movement. He wears black sleeves separated from the gown that reach his mid-upper arms and come down to his middle fingers, where each sleeve is attached to a ring.

    He is barefoot. On his head is a headband formed of two parallel golden strips that match the horns piercing through his hair from the edge of his hairline.

    As Asuramaru exists as a mental concept, he can appear as anyone within Yu's memories he chooses. He often takes the forms of the 12-year-old Mika as well as Akane Hyakuya, the other Hyakuya orphans, and can interweave them into memories such as those featuring Yu's parents. He chooses his forms depending on what he believes will be best for breaking his host's will. Asumaru personality = Personality Asuramaru is an emotion and blood-thirsty demon who delights in drinking Yu's blood. He can be haughty demonstrated when declaring as a being with actual power and how he could easily crush Yu. Similar to all demons, Asuramaru is manipulative and uses nightmares to consume the one he possesses in order to take over his host's body. At creating a contract with Yu, he interrupts his host's dreams every night with visions of Mika asking why he left them to die.

16. #16Mitsuba Sangūselective

    Keys: Mitsuba Sangū

    She is the younger sister of Aoi Sangū and was a special duty second lieutenant of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. Mitsuba became the fifth member of Shinoa Hīragi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. Mitsuba Sangū Appearance = She has long blonde hair tied up in pigtails on either side of her head and large violet eyes. Mitsuba is noted to have a curvaceous figure. For clothing Mitsuba wears the standard JIDA uniform which consists of a long-sleeved black coat with a standing collar which has a red bow tie around it and has her sleeves rolled up. The coat has two rows of gold buttons on the front, light green details including the shoulder epaulettes which has a Sam Browne belt passing diagonally over her right shoulder. Wearing white gloves, she also has a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. She also wears the standard black skirt with black shorts underneath and knee-high black boots. She sometimes wears the black cape. Mitsuba Sangū Personality = Making her feelings known, she inveighs against joining a group of new recruits and expresses further indignation upon discovering that Shinoa Hiragi is her squad leader. Mitsuba's tone softens when she believes she has been added to train them.

    She can be confrontational, physically as well when she attempted to kick Yu and again when he disobeyed orders. Both instances where when his actions endangered the squad. This is applied well in the battlefield.

    Assertive, Mitsuba is aware of the threat they face and speaks at length to relay the dangers. Her contempt towards reckless behaviour such as that seen in Yu stems in part from the loss of her squad. She is serious about her duties and wary of traps.

    Placing the safety of others before herself, when Mitsuba was captured by vampires she wanted her squad to retreat. Her caring side was also shown when she tended to Shinoa after she was slapped. She was happy to defend Mika from her own comrades.

17. #17Shihō Kimizukiselective

    Keys: Shihō Kimizuki

    is one of the main male deuteragonists in Seraph of the End and the older brother of Mirai Kimizuki. He is a member of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, as well as Shinoa Hīragi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. After acquiring a pair of cursed gear swords he would assist his squad in exterminating vampires and freeing humans. Kimizuki headed to Shinjuku to defend the city from a vampire invasion force, and then took part in the mission targeting vampire nobles in Nagoya.

    Shihō Kimizuki Appearance = He is the tallest member in the Shinoa Squad and has short, messy dark pink hair and reddish-brown eyes. He wears black, thick-framed long rectangular glasses and has two piercings in his left ear.

    For clothing Kimizuki is seen wearing his school uniform, a grey gakuran with a standing collar that is black with teal trim. The jacket is unbuttoned as he wears a hoodie underneath.

    After he was enlisted into the Moon Demon Company, he wears the standard JIDA uniform which consists of a long-sleeved black coat with light green details including the shoulder epaulettes which has a brown Sam Browne belt passing diagonally over his right shoulder and two rows of gold buttons on the front. Along with that, he wears a pair of white gloves and a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. He also wears the uniform trousers with two white belts around his right leg and knee-high black boots which goes over his trouser legging. Shihō Kimizuki Personality = Initially confrontational, Kimizuki picked a fight with Yu and the aggression was maintained after seeing him again. Guren commented that Kimizuki was starting to seem friendly and less volatile. Shinoa observes that Kimizuki attacked Yu to test his ability and maintain his alpha dominance over the students.

    As a student, Shihō is shown to be a very diligent and smart, scoring 100% in his Latin, English, and Japanese tests. When he was first introduced in the story, he was not even listening to class, and instead was sleeping with a book covering his face with his legs resting on the chair in front of him. Feeling he is a star student of his class, Kimizuki is not afraid to remind other people of what he has accomplished.

    His practical talents include being able to fix and drive cars, and Kimizuki is shown to be an excellent cook as well. He follows directions such as attacking a demon that a team member had turned into, and complied with Shinoa's order to swerve the car for something he could not see. Kimizuki is sure of his abilities in combat, and told Yu they could handle a squad of vampires.

    Kimizuki's capabilities and doing what is expected of him and beyond is part of what enables him to effectively deal with problems. He also supports team members whether it is defending them from attack, to doing what he can to rescue them. One instance was using the Devil's Coffin, an attacking ability to instead save Yu and simultaneously deal with his demon possession problem.

18. #18Shūsaku Iwasakiselective

    She was a member of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and Makoto Narumi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. (She is dead).

    Rika Inoue apperance = Rika had long blonde hair pulled into two fluffy ponytails with long reddish-rose ribbons holding them in place. She had bangs that are longer on the sides. She wore a hair clip in her bangs, and she wore a reddish-rose choker with a pink butterfly accessory. She had blue eyes.

    Her JIDA uniform consisted of a long-sleeved black coat with light green details including the

    shoulder epaulettes and two rows of gold buttons on the front; she had her sleeves rolled up. She left the top of the jacket unbuttoned which showed some of her cleavage. Along with that, she wore a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. She wore a an extra-short uniform skirt and knee-high black boots. She wore a pink bracelet on her left wrist.

    Rika Inoue personality = Rika had a free-spirited personality which could be seen from her gal-ish tone and how she wore her uniform.

    She took the initiative to be a mood maker, like exchanging high-five with others, and was always contributing to improve the linkage of the squad. She was shown to care a lot about her squad members, even going as far as to threaten Shinoa when they were killed.

20. #20Yayoi Endōselective

    She was a member of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and Makoto Narumi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. (She is dead).

    Yayoi Endō apperance = Yayoi was a petite girl with short red hair shaped into a bob and straight bangs cut over her purple eyes. She wore red glasses.

    She wore the standard JIDA uniform which consisted of a long-sleeved black coat with light green details including the

    shoulder epaulettes . which have a

    Sam Browne belt passing diagonally over her right shoulder and two rows of gold buttons on the front. Along with that, she wore a pair of white gloves and a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. She also wore the standard black skirt, dark gray thigh-high socks and knee-high black boots.

    Yayoi Endō personality = She is the kind-hearted peace keeper of the belligerent Narumi squad, and was relied on to provide intel regarding Lucal Wesker's movements, which she done effectively.

    Contrary to her quiet looks, she was brave and had a firm attitude when confronting vampires, taking part in group attacks and attacking gallantly by herself.

    Tarō Kagiyama apperance = Tarō was a tall, muscular young man that wore a pale blue cloth that covered the top of his head above his eyes. He had short black hair with sideburns, and he also had some hair on his chin.

    Tarō Kagiyama personality = Tarō was a serious person as is he wanted to make Yu apologize for his behavior. It is rare to seem him smile at others except for his own squad. He also had a very strong sense of justice.

22. #22Shinya Hīragiselective

    as a member of Guren's squad. He is a Major General of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. He was chosen to marry Mahiru Hīragi and was adopted by the Hīragi Family. Although he has high capacity of spellcraft from since childhood, Shinya is not comfortable about being with the Hīragi family. However, he is good friends with Guren Ichinose, who also holds the same intention against them.

    Shinya Hīragi apperance = Shinya is a tall, young man with medium length white hair with bangs and blue eyes.

    Shinya Hīragi personality = Shinya is shown to be a gentle and cool man. He does not get angry easily, even when being insulted by Seishirō. He is seen smiling pleasantly all the time, even in tough spots, shown in the battle of Nagoya with Crowley. He has a lighthearted and breezy personality, often joking around Guren, and seems to be relaxed even during missions, as seen where he calmly teaches Yoichi the role of a sniper.

    Shinya is shown to be very loyal to his friends, such as joining Guren in the battle in Nagoya, despite recognizing that it is a suicide mission. He is shown to put a lot of trust in his closest friends, such as Guren, and is deeply shocked when Guren is revealed to be a Namanari. Along with that, unlike most Hīragi, he lacks any superiority complex, as he has been seen to treat others kindly and politely. Another show of this was how he never shunned Shinoa unlike any other member of the family, as he treated her kindly and even seemed to truly care for her, aiding in saving her during the Apocalypse and later on forgiving her rescue of Mikaela. Shinya also holds his morals firmly above his desires, being deeply enraged at Guren when the latter killed many of his own comrades and showing nothing but disgust at Guren's nonchalant dismissal even as he justified it as being to fulfil both of their dreams.

    A trait that Shinya possesses is that he is very observant and perceptive, picking out tiny reactions on Guren's face and is able to easily grasp the latter's emotions. He also is able to piece together an idea on what Guren is hiding just by observing his movements and facial expressions.

    However, Shinya's lighthearted personality and his charming smile is only a facade, a defense mechanism. Since he was put in an arena-styled environment as a child, where young boys have to battle to death, he began to mask his fears and insecurities in order to help him endure the harsh training. Shinya's constant smile is also there to fool adversaries into letting their guards down, so he could strike at the right moment. Once his mask is gone, he is shown to be more blunt and even somewhat masochistic, thinking about how his own death will play out when Mahiru rejected him.

    The Hīragi Family exists in Seraph of the End as the most powerful family in Japan. Members are the current leaders of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. They managed to control the JIDA through nepotism and having its family members be skilled and powerful fighters and magic users. As a consequence, this leads to power struggles which causes discomfort among its members, particularly Guren and Shinoa. The family is noted as "scary" by many, including Mitsuba and even Shinoa, who is a Hīragi herself.

    The Hīragis have a pedigree of 1,200 years. They became the top religious organization known as the Order of the Imperial Demons and one of the centers of Japan's magical society.[2]

    Several centuries ago, the Hīragi family developed impressive spell-casting abilities and were successful enough to create branch families that would continue to serve them over centuries. These branch families would also have lesser families serving them.

    The members of this family are recognized for their red hair. According to legend, an ancestor of the family, Tohito Jūjō, single-handedly defeated a powerful demon. However, a curse was placed on the bloodline. Since then, all Jūjō descendants were born with red hair.[4]

    The Jūjō use magic to power themselves up physically and push their bodies to their limits. They are famed as warriors and soldiers because of this. Many of them serve as guards or assassins.

    Ichinose Clan 500 years prior to the series, the Ichinose family served as the top family under the Hīragi. However, both the first and second sons of the Hīragi family fell in love with the daughter of the Ichinose family. The second son won her love. In retaliation, the first son castrated the second son and raped the Ichinose daughter, impregnating her with his child. Splitting off from the main family, they formed the Order of the Imperial Moon.[5]

    Although the first son could have annihilated the Ichinose at any time, he chose to let them live on and suffer humiliation.[5] This maltreatment continues into the Catastrophe light novels and even the Vampire Reign manga.

    Race human. Kureto is the Lieutenant General of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army whose goal is to exterminate all the vampires in Japan. Of all the family houses, he is a member of the strongest one, the Hīragi Family. Tended to by Aoi Sangū, he has designs on establishing control over the surviving humans on the planet.

    Before the world ended, Kureto's experiences in First Shibuya High School are detailed in the prequel Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen light novel series, and its own manga adaption. He seeks to find the person who is manipulating the Hīragi family. Not fully aware of events to come, Kureto grapples with the Hyakuya Sect rising to prominence. Around the time it was developed, Kureto would acquire the Cursed Gear sword, Raimeiki.

    Establishing control over Japan in the ruined world, although leading army forces against vampires, Kureto's rampant paranoia and need to interrogate humans under him to check for traitors no matter how unlikely, in his view leaves him one step ahead. Working with Guren Ichinose he fuels a seraph experiment to assist in the war against those he has no use for. Having become the head of the Hīragi Family by murdering his own father, Tenri Hīragi, he would be targeted for possession by Shikama Dōji.

    Kureto Hīragi apperance = He is a tall, young man with short black hair and reddish brown eyes. He has thick eyebrows that are slightly angled up at the ends. During his time throughout First Shibuya High School, his hair was somewhat more kept, and notably more lighter on top. Where the centre of his fringe was slightly longer in the centre, from the angle of his eyebrows, and the length in sections of his hair, it was generally the case there was an equal distance between them.

    The uniform worn on the premises consisted of a long-sleeved, and raised collar jacket. There were featured red sections such as on the end of the sleeves, and in the collar area. An emblem was emblazoned on the left chest area. Relatively large buttons fastened the jacket together. This was the same navy blue like color as the pants he wore. On other occasions, Kureto wore a short-sleeved white shirt. Again, it featured a raised collar, was buttoned with all of them done up, and bore an emblem.

    As an adult, Kureto continues wearing uniform based attire. The standard Japanese Imperial Demon Army uniform is worn which consists of a black tailcoat with red details including the

    shoulder epaulettes with gold trim on each of the sides. Two rows of gold buttons are on the front of the tailcoat. An

    aiguillette placed on the right shoulder is connected to just under the collar, which features a crescent moon decoration, specifically a waxing crescent moon design.

    The same black colored uniform trousers are worn. Around Kureto's waist he wears a relatively large web belt. Parallel white lines running horizontally across the top and bottom of the belt, where a black section is in the middle of them. The belt buckle is a prominent appearing golden circular buckle, of which the prongs are not visible. Along with that, Kureto wears a pair of white gloves, an armband on his left arm. In addition, Kureto wears black shoes.

    Kureto Hīragi personality = Arrogant and powerful from an early age, Kureto does not tolerate any disrespect, perceived or real, from lower-rank families. He is manipulative, ruthless, and treacherous (Shinoa describes him as a "monster"), and will not hesitate to abandon his comrades if he no longer finds them useful. In fact, he finds that being able to abandon one's own friends as a strength. Expecting everyone to submit to him with absolute loyalty, Kureto would even go so far as to threaten them to do his work. As such, Kureto is very confident with himself, his plans and his actions. Some of the basis for this is to sustain that Hiragi clan he was raised in.

27. #27Seishirō Hīragiselective

    He is a person of influence as a Major General of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and a member of the prestigious Hīragi Family.

    Apperance Seishirō Hīragi = He has black and dark grey hair styled in a Mohawk. Additionally, he has thick, short eyebrows, and narrow red eyes.

    Seishirō Hīragi personality = Seishirō is rude and has an offensive attitude towards the lower branch families, as shown by his continual disrespect towards Guren Ichinose, even when Guren became Kureto's follower.

    He acts very proud, but he uses his father's power and name for protection. Although he feels angry when his father was insulted, he begged for his life when Kureto threatened him.

    As both Kureto and Mahiru noted, despite his bravado, in the end Seishirō is nothing but an incompetent useless coward who while acting strong and cruel, has never stood on the front lines, causing both of them to show nothing but utter disgust and no respect at all to him. He has a inferiority complex about Kureto and secretly plans to outwit him someday.

    Race human. She is the older sister of Mitsuba Sangū and the servant of Kureto Hīragi who is also part of the Sangū family, one of the three prodigious families serving the Hīragi Family.

    Aoi Sangū apperance = Aoi appears like a taller and more buxom Mitsuba Sangū with straight shoulder length blonde hair (which is lighter than Mitsuba's hair color) pulled into pigtails, which were on the back of her hair than to the sides, unlike Mitsuba; her bangs are parted on the right, which were held them in place with two hair clips. She has purple eyes as well. She wore the First Shibuya High school uniform, a

    sailor fuku which consists of a blouse with red trim around the collar with a grayish blue sailor-style collar which also has red trim and a similarly colored skirt with a belt. The red uniform ribbon which is thinner than normal sailor fuku, is attached to the bottom right end of the collar. The school's emblem is located on the right breast. She wears thigh length grayish blue stockings and dark blue dress shoes along with it.

    Aoi Sangū personality = Aoi would usually appear at Kureto Hīragi's side as his personal aide. Possessing a good head on her shoulders, with a calm countenance when assessing every situation and a great degree of vigilance, she has her master’s complete trust. Aoi is stoic, serious, and appears to follow his every order without hesitation, no matter how gruesome or how heartless it is. She also appears to have no qualms in killing, shown when she annihilated Seishirō's bodyguards.

    is a member of Guren's squad and the Jūjō family, one of the three prodigious clans that serve the Hīragi Family. she is a colonel of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army.

    Mito Jūjō apperance = Guren describes Mito as having distinctively beautiful crimson-red hair, fiercely slanted almond-shaped eyes (which are purple), and pale milky skin.

    Mito wore the female Imperial Demon special forces combat uniform, which was a long-sleeved double-breasted black coat with shoulder epaulettes and two rows of buttons, a ribbon tied around the neck, a wide white belt with a circular buckle, white gloves, knee-high black boots.

    Mito Jūjō personality = Mito is the classic tsundere Ojōsama. She is shown to have good manners and etiquette, such as asking for her teacher to announce Shigure as the winner in their sparring match instead of herself, when she knocked down Shigure even though Shigure had already won the fight. She is not afraid to recognize and praise the strength of other people, such as Shigure and Guren.

    Mito, like her red hair, has a fiery temper, such as yelling at Guren in their entrance ceremony, and ambushing Guren when he walks out of the gym. However, beneath her temper, lies someone who wishes that she could break free from her family. Mito finds freedom in being one of Guren's friends, and struggles to uphold her family image while enjoying her life at the same time.

    Mito is also shown to be quite blunt, berating Shinoa's squad heavily after their spar. She takes rules and formation very seriously, such as when Shinoa's squad arrived late, and their cocky behavior.

He usually wears the black cape as well.

    Norito Goshi personality = Norito is a flirty man, who enjoys teasing Guren's two retainers. He often makes perverted jokes, such as how he wants Sayuri to hold him in a headlock so his head is right up in her breasts.

    His behavior apparently pisses Guren off most of the time, which is evident from Guren kicking Norito instead of Shinya, or ordering his retainers to beat him up.

    Being part of the prestigious Goshi family, Norito is proud of his lineage and skills. However, he has come to respect Guren's strength as the two bonded in their school days.

31. #31Tenri Hīragiselective

    Race human.(he is dead). was the General of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and the former leader of the Hīragi Family. He was know how the stronger,however he was never shown fighting. His strength was purely from tales of which describe him beating the previous vampire Queen and he also took out most of the nobles.

    Tenri Hīragi apperance = Tenri had a large build and ashen hair similar to Mahiru and Shinoa and amber eyes. The right side of his face had curse marks, and covered over by a black patch, which goes over his eye, the right side of his head, and connects to his neck. His right shoulder and neck appears to be mechanical.

    In the Catastrophe manga, he did not yet wear an eye patch or anything that looked mechanical. He was not seen as using a cane.

    He wore the JIDA uniform which consists of a long-sleeved black coat with red details, two rows of gold buttons and a green

    Sam Browne belt passing diagonally over his right shoulder. Over this is a maroon military overcoat with

    shoulder epaulettes which have a gold bullion fringe along with an

    aiguillette on his left shoulder. He also wore a pair of white gloves and the uniform trousers with black shoes.

    Tenri Hīragi Personality = Personality Tenri was best described as a proud and harsh individual. Like the rest of the Hīragi family (with the exception of Shinoa and Mahiru), he looks down on lower houses and made sure that they knew their place. He did not hesitate to use violence or cruelty and taunted Guren about forcing his father, Sakae Ichinose, to dance naked in front of them prior to having Sakae beheaded.

    Idealistically, he strongly believed in the concept of survival of the fittest. Due to the weight of this savage principle he abided by, he would have seen that the strong lived and the weak died. He did not especially value his children's lives either and even gave Guren permission to kill Seishirō because he was fooled by Guren.

    Furthermore, Tenri was not at all happy with Guren's defiant attitude.

    As seen in his last moments, Tenri has showcased that he still retains a level of empathy and regret for his actions, this is seen where he admitted that he was jealous of his son Kureto for managing to defeat him while retaining his "humanity" and implied that he harbored some regret for having killed his siblings to become the "king".

32. #32Mahiru Hīragiselective

    Keys: Mahiru Hīragi

    Race demon (she was human and also she was vampire). Parted from Noya, active as herself. She is the older half-sister of Shinoa Hīragi, and was romantically attracted to Guren Ichinose. From the prestigious Hīragi Family, she was next in line to become head of the clan on account of her capabilities and intellect.

    Taking matters into her own hands, Mahiru would seek out vampires to become one herself. Betrayals abound as Mahiru maneuvers her way against organizations from her own family's, to the Hyakuya Sect. As a namanari, she eventually turned into a demon, and willingly fused herself with Noya. Shortly before the anticipated catastrophe occurred, upon being sealed within Guren's sword, she became a Cursed Gear weapon, a part of a single entity called Mahiru-no-Yo.

    She is referred to in the Owari no Seraph manga, as well as the Seraph of the End anime. Later Mahiru is separated from Noya, but is still a demon active as a Cursed Gear, with a physical body. Along with Guren, they resume their plan, supposedly against the first progenitor, Shikama Dōji, which involves Yūichirō Hyakuya and Mikaela Hyakuya.

    Mahiru Hīragi apperance = She is described as a beautiful young girl, with long ashen hair with short sidelocks, and amber eyes. A comment from Shinoa is that Mahiru as her half-sister is taller and way more voluptuous than herself. When she was a namanari, Mahiru displayed no distinct physical features that showed the demon was in control, except for a red glint in her pupils that rarely showed. After becoming a vampire, Mahiru develops their physical distinguishing traits such as her eyes becoming red, where she additionally grew fangs.

    For clothing, Mahiru is usually seen with the First Shibuya High School uniform. This is a

    sailor fuku , which consists of a blouse with red trim around the collar, with a grayish blue sailor-style collar which also has red trim. She wears a similarly colored skirt with a belt. She is remembered as being gentle, sweet, and charming. On one occasion, Mahiru shared a cake with Guren, and showed concern over the bruises he received from his brutal training. Also shown to bow down to the pressure of her family, After she become on Demon An independent demon separates from Noya, like herself as a human Mahiru is consistently carefree and joyful. Quick to act, Mahiru thinks nothing of seizing one of Shikama Doji's scythes and reacts fast to use the Sinful Key she acquires against him. Catching Shinoa, she ensures her sister does not fall.

    abbreviated as JIDA) is a military group under the Order of the Imperial Demons. They deal with supernatural tasks in Japan and are comprised of many elite units. It was lead by General Tenri Hīragi before he was killed by his son, Lieutenant General Kureto Hīragi, who becomes its new leader soon after. After the apocalypse, the JIDA comes into great power and establishes human cities in Shibuya and Shinjuku where they wage war against the vampires.

    Their weapons include mass-produced Enchanted Gear, Cursed Gear, Cursed Gear Stimulants, spellcraft, and the Seraph experiment. The Japanese Imperial Demon Army was formed from the Order of the Imperial Demons in response to the decline of the human population and the threats of both demons and vampires. Though there are also other magical organizations around the world, it is the JIDA that stands out as the most effective human organization that can survive and fend off vampires and demons.

    Duty After the outbreak of the apocalypse virus, the human population fell by 90%. It killed off anyone 13 or older, who did not receive the vaccine. Strange monsters referred to as the Four Horsemen of John appeared and began killing off the remaining humans. In response, vampires came into the open and gathered as many humans as they could as human livestock out of concern for their drastically diminished food supply.

    Mankind would not give up so easily and rebirth was coming, and that rebirth would be the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. Their goal is to rally together all human survivors and snatch back supremacy from vampires. The high ranking JIDA officials make up the governing body of the Army. They control three human cities: Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro.

    The members of the Hīragi family has always been occupied the top positions in the government. The Headquarters of this government. Though Shibuya and Shinjuku are in complete control of the JIDA government, the Ikebukoro area is a bit defenseless comparatively. As a result, sometimes vampires sneaked into the city. Having an innate resistance to demon energy, Yoichi would be a candidate selected by Guren Ichinose to acquire a Cursed Gear weapon. While he failed the trial initially, Yoichi would make a contract with the demon Gekkouin where he could wield a cursed gear bow.

    Becoming a member of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, as well as Shinoa Hīragi's squad in the Moon Demon Company, with Mitsuba Sangū joining the team he is in, Yoichi registers the state of the world when liberating humans from a vampire lair. Heading to Shinjuku with the squad, Yoichi would help defend the city from a large scale vampire invasion. A part of the operation targeting vampire nobles in Nagoya, Yoichi would deal with his nerves working with Shinya Hīragi, along with Makoto Narumi's squad and provide aerial coverage. After identifying Mikaela Hyakuya, he helped him escape.

    Resolute in defending his friends, Yoichi fired at Kureto Hīragi who was sacrificing his own soldiers, then joins his squad in deserting the army. Having to work with Ferid Bathory and Crowley Eusford, he learns that Guren wanted to resurrect everyone who died during the apocalypse. In Shibuya with Shikama Dōji active, Yoichi would help Kimizuki rescue his sister, Mirai Kimizuki. Livid that Guren retained his sister's body, Yoichi would act to help Yu and Mika over his own demon, yet while wary of Guren's plan he would help carry it out.

    Yoichi Saotome apperance = Yoichi is an average-height boy with medium length, brown hair. His hair appears spiky, less bouncy and thinner than his anime appearance. Yoichi has large, dark green eyes.

    Yoichi Saotome personality =Having an equilibrium of kindness and altruism gives him an optimistic and sweet personality. Yoichi reacts to conflicts among others close to him such as Yu and Kimizuki by trying to mediate and calm the tension.

    Race human. (She is dead). She was a sergeant in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. She was the leader of a fifteen-man squad in the Moon Demon Company during the conflict in Nagoya.

    Aiko Aihara apperance = Aiko had wavy mid-back length dark brown hair that is half pulled back by a light blue rectangular hair clip where she does not have bangs except for what escapes her hair style and burgundy colored eyes with visible lower eyelashes.

    Her JIDA uniform consisted of a long-sleeved black tailcoat with two rows of gold buttons on the front, light green details including the

    shoulder epaulettes which had a

    Sam Browne belt passing diagonally over her right shoulder. She wore a pair of white gloves along with an armband on her left arm, and a white web belt with with a gold waist-plate. She also wore the standard black skirt, dark gray pantyhose and knee-high black boots.

    Aiko Aihara personality = Aiko was a focused soldier who cares deeply about her comrades. When she reported their deaths, she cried. Even so, she was serious and hard-working, willing to continue with dangerous missions even after such loss. She did not hesitate to sacrifice herself in order for her comrades to escape.

    Aiko was brave, selfless, and compassionate. A notable example is when following her whole team's massacre, she gave a red herring to the vampires about where the humans were, intending to buy them some more time, staying loyal to her comrades to the end.

36. #36Shigure Yukimiselective

    Race humans. She is a second lieutenant of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and a member of Guren's squad in the Moon Demon Company. Like Sayuri Hanayori, Shigure is also a servant for the Ichinose Family. Shigure Yukimi

    Shigure Yukimi apperance = Shigure had short dark blue hair that has square bangs hanging over her forehead and gold eyes; she also wore a choker around her neck.

    She wore the First Shibuya High School female uniform, a

    sailor fuku , which consisted of a blouse with red trim around the collar with a grayish blue sailor-style collar which also has red trim and a similarly colored skirt with a belt. The red uniform ribbon which is thinner than normal sailor fuku, is attached to the bottom right end of the collar. The Order of the Imperial Moon emblem was located on the right breast. When Guren squad was formed, Shigure wore the female Imperial Demon special forces combat uniform, which was a long-sleeved double-breasted black coat with

    shoulder epaulettes and two rows of buttons, a ribbon tied around the neck, a wide white belt with a circular buckle, white gloves, knee-high black boots.

    Shigure Yukimi personality = Shigure is a quiet and practical girl as shown when she brought Yu to see Guren in Nagoya. She does not let her emotions get the better of her, instead, cloaks it under an unreadable expression.

    Similar to Sayuri, she's very protective of Guren, and does not hesitate to carry out his orders. Like Sayuri, she also has a crush on Guren, but does not show it often.

37. #37Sayuri Hanayoriselective

    Keys: Sayuri Hanayori

    Race human. She is a second lieutenant of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and a member of Guren's squad in the Moon Demon Company. While serving as a member of the Moon Demon Company, she is also an Army instructor for the training classes. Sayuri is a servant for the Ichinose Family.

    Sayuri Hanayori apperance = Sayuri has long wheat-colored haired and matching eyes. She has a braid on the top of her head. She is noted to be a busty girl of short stature. she wears her hair up and has only the front right side of her hair out. She still wears the braid she had when she was younger.

    She wears the standard JIDA uniform which is similar to what she wore eight years ago, except this uniform has light green details including on the shoulder epaulettes, which has a

    fourragère around her right side connecting to the lapel of the coat, and two rows of gold buttons on the front. Along with that, she wears a pair of white gloves, an armband on her left arm, and a white web belt with a gold waist-plate. She also wears the standard black skirt, dark gray pantyhose and ankle-high black boots.

    Sayuri Hanayori personality = , being a retainer of Guren, is very protective of him, often flocking around her master. She is shown to be very obedient of Guren, and even a bit shy, often stammering when she's left alone with him, or blush when Guren talks to her. She obeys his every command, such as when Guren ordered her to beat up Goshi.

    Sayuri is kind and cheerful, and that is shown when she teaches the class that Yu, Shinoa, Shiho, and Yoichi are in. She is very cheerful and optimistic, encouraging the students to work harder. Sayuri is shown to be quite perceptive at times, observing how Yu and his friends are much stronger than she is, when she was 16.

    She has a crush on Guren.

    Race Michaela and Vampire.

    Ferid Bathory namely one who murdered Yu and Mika's orphanage family as they attempted to escape to the outside world. A seventh progenitor among vampires, in his residence of Sanguinem he took an interest in illicitly drinking children's blood. Simultaneously, Ferid entwines his own activities into those of a much stronger vampire, Krul Tepes Where he also began to take an interest in human activity before the catastrophe.

    Ferid Bathory Apperance = He is physically a slender male, where a distinguishing trait is his long, silver hair that reaches his hips. Having bangs and a lock of hair over either ear so that they are visible, Ferid keeps his hair tied back into a pony tail held with a ribbon. The ribbon has stripes in the first chapter, but it is replaced with a black one after he is defeated by Krul. The ribbon tails trail to his shoulders. Ferid also wears a pair of red diamond-shaped earrings which dangle from either ear. As with all vampires, Ferid has pointed ears, with red eyes, and fangs. After being burned for treachery, Ferid's hair and noble garments were both incinerated. His hair began to grow back virtually immediately at the moment he was freed where it reached his ears. Where Ferid's hair soon recovered to the original length, he wore it untied. His clothing was now made up of casual attire consisting of a simpler shirt, with trousers. A black shoulder cloak, and gloves serve as ever distinctive signs.

    Ferid Bathory personality = Ferid does not even have a positive impression of himself. Resentment is shown, namely towards Saitō for having turned him into a vampire, Ferid has grown bored of being immortal and seems to lack a will to live. Where it is something more potent than general vampire based apathy, Ferid vents this with a resolve to kill. Having the means to do so, Ferid attempted to attack Saito with a Sinful Key. Disappointed that he was never given a reason to live, it is a question Ferid also has for the First. More than once Ferid makes a comment about embracing the day he can finally die, yet more often than not he will seize a chance to ignite his interest in what is at hand.

40. #40Saitōselective

    Keys: Saitō

    Race unknow..he was human and later vampire,but it is past,now he is other thing unknow. In the ancient past Saito lived as a vampire, a second progenitor along with Urd. Leaving the progenitor council, it transpires that Saito founded the Hyakuya Sect in response to the nascent human organization created by the First. Acting as an experimental subject himself to conceal his vampire traits, Saito would come to have his body made up of chains. Hiding himself in plain sight, Saito took an interest in Guren Ichinose. he found Krul Tepes before coming across a vampire he sired, Ferid Bathory after some time apart. Active once more, Saito's resurgent Hyakuya Sect had developed its own army, one strong enough to launch an attack on Shibuya under the control of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. His true target the First, he had the capabilities to attempt a capture. Calm and in control of a situation, Saito would progress further in his goal of learning more of the First's activities.

    Saitō apperance = He appears as a nondescript man with a business or gentleman-like bearing. Saito has short clean-cut black hair with bangs, where there is a parting on his centre right and again near the middle. This leaves his bangs uneven, with a conspicuous section of hair across his forehead. While the front section of his hair is the only part that can change depending on how it is swept, it is often to his left. Saito's hair is short enough to keep his ears visible, which are not pointed like other vampires due to bodily modifications. Although he actually has red eyes, Saito wears colored contacts over them to hide his vampirism, so they are a dull black. Vampire traits such as his fangs are also hidden.

    Like other Thousand Night members, Saito wears a business suit that includes a collared white dress shirt of which the long sleeves can occasionally be seen at the end, and a relatively thin black tie. A black dress jacket is worn over this, which is fastened together by three buttons, and Saito also wears identically dark pants. Dark grey socks are also worn, in addition to laceless dark dress shoes.

    Saitō personality = Pensive, Saito often contemplates matters at length, particularly when patiently awaiting developments. Speaking aloud to himself, Saito shares how he wishes the First would stop awakening so loudly as now others will get in his way. Giving thought to matters, more than once Saito comments on how topics such as what they are, and how many years has it been since he last saw someone, to be good questions. Often, Saito already knows the answer though. It was a good question in his view, where Saito could not say how strong he was, although clearly did know. This is a similar case when in pressuring situations. In no particular hurry, Saito will consider a situation and give thought to his options. In both events Saito is not in actuality overly bothered about potential obstacles, he will stick to what he has his mind on regardless.

41. #41Sanguinemselective

    Keys: Sanguinem

    Sanguinem exists in the world of Seraph of the End and is the third capital and third largest city of the vampire world. Located underneath the ruined city of Kyoto, it is home to prominent vampire nobles, such as Ferid Bathory and Krul Tepes. It is extravagant with buildings in 18th-century design, churches and cathedrals, and elaborate archways. There are also European-style houses. The ground often consists of either tiles or stones. The city is set at one level, but many buildings have multiple stories. There are numerous large pipelines throughout the city.

    Krul Tepes lives here in a large, elaborate mansion with a massive entrance hall. Her throne sits in the back center of the hall, and the hall is empty and without stairs. There are many elaborate arches on either side with detailed panels decorating them.

42. #42Michaelaselective

    Keys: Michaela

    is an alias used to refer a specific kind of Humans named and created by Shikama Dōji. Some are speculated to have the Seraph gene. The Michaela trait only appears in one out of tens of millions of humans prior to the apocalypse. After the apocalypse, it is nearly impossible to find one. People with Michaela trait are beings that can become vessels for the Mikaela's soul, Shikama's child who was killed by the gods. For 10,000 years, Mika has become the only successful vessel.

    Keys: Vampires

    Vampires are an immortal, ageless race that feeds on the blood of humans. All vampires were originally humans who were turned when ingesting vampire blood, although they like to pretend otherwise and look down on young vampires as "former humans". Vampires are human-like creatures with fangs, pointed ears, and red empty eyes; however, vampires have methods of changing their appearances. For instance, Saitō modified his body to appear with normal ears and wears colored contacts to mask his eye color. Their blood is dark and black though in the anime it's red.

    They have no body heat, pulse, or bodily excretions since their metabolism has stopped, and never age. Incomplete vampire A human that ingests the blood of a vampire does not become a vampire, but rather an incomplete one. The only known incomplete vampire in the series is Mikaela Hyakuya.

    Newly-turned vampires can survive off of the blood of the one who sired them, but this will only work for a limited period of time.

44. #44Crowley Eusfordselective

    Race Michaela,Vampire.

    Crowley Eusford is a Thirteenth Progenitor among vampires. he is often accompanied by others such Chess Belle and Horn Skuld, where he is a member of Ferid Bathory's faction. Taking part in the invasion of Shinjuku, he would help capture Shinoa Hīragi and other members of the Moon Demon Company.

    After the vampires forces had to retreat due to the arrival of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, Crowley would take up residence in Nagoya City Hall. Successfully keeping Guren Ichinose as a captive for Ferid, he is unaware of, but goes along with their plan. Hiding his strength under Ferid's orders, Crowley is actually equal in strength to a Seventh Progenitor having been sired by using Saitō's blood since he is also regarded as a Michaela. His past experiences as a human crusader are detailed in the The Story of Vampire Michaela light novels.

    Along with Ferid he would seek out Yūichirō Hyakuya and members of Shinoa squad including Mikaela Hyakuya. Travelling to, and witnessing the assault on Shibuya, Crowley would come into contact with the First. Able to fend off an attack from members of the progenitor council including Urd Geales by using a sinful key, he would escape and rejoin the squad headed to Akihabara.

    Crowley Eusford apperance = Crowley had blue eyes, with auburn colored hair, and thick eyebrows of the same color. For his hair length, it was short overall, yet long enough on the sides to reach past his jaw where his ears were kept visible. Although sections of his hair were partially over his eyes, where there was a parting in the left centre, Crowley's vision appeared unhindered. His looks were said to have made him quite popular with women.

    For clothing worn around the time of the crusades, Crowley was seen wearing a black tunic where the top was held together with a cord like fastening in an X shape. The tunic's length enabled it to cover part of Crowley's waist, and it was held around him with a brown colored belt with a golden frame-style belt buckle that featured a single prong. The tunic was worn over a seemingly white undershirt. The gray colored sleeves may have been part of the same garment as the tunic, or a separate undershirt.

    Crowley Eusford personality = A sense of calmness is retained when Crowley becomes a vampire. Even compelling forces such as a vampire's naturally induced lust for blood is not shown. With a major invasion underway, Crowley calmly walked towards a vehicle coming his way. Undaunted by it speeding towards him, Crowley opted to seize, lift, then casually throw it towards his attackers. Indifferent to injuries to himself, Crowley effortlessly parries away ranged attacks. Unfazed at losing his sword, Crowley recovered quick from the surprise and was content to engage in conversation. Further major surprises such as the view of human experimentation do not rattle him. With an attack underway, Crowley it at ease in monitoring the scenario, and was composed in fending off direct attacks on himself. Unbothered to the point where he would let potentially useful hostages escape, Crowley still remains level-headed enough to stick with goals he suspects may be helpful.His bravery on show, Crowley is patient where it seems to be leisurely for him when fighting opponents.

45. #45Chess Belleselective

    Keys: Chess Belle

    Race Vampire. Belle is a seventeenth progenitor vampire who serves Thirteenth Progenitor Crowley Eusford.

    Chess Belle apperance = Chess is a very short girl with an hourglass figure and very large breasts. She has chin-length iris-colored hair and bangs that frame her face. Like all vampires, she has red eyes, fangs, and pointed ears. She also has visible lower lashes.

    She wears a headband that matches Horn's. She also wears a matching black collar and a white cape that reaches past her buttocks.

    Like Horn, she wears an attire with a low cut that reveals her cleavage. She wears a black and white dress with detached black sleeves. A blue bow decorates the front of her bodice, and the black of the dress emphasizes her breasts and hips as it trails down to the front of her skirts. She has a large bow at her tailbone in the back of her dress. Two white skirts layer over each other and reach down to her knees. She wears black stockings that reach right above her knees. She wears blue high heels.

    Chess Belle personality = She is immature, careless, playful, and childish, which foils the more serious and mature behavior of her partner, Horn. She is very fond of both Crowley and Horn, and she can usually be found in their company. She gets jealous easily. She considers Horn to be stuffy.

    She has difficulty controlling her desire for blood, so she tends to kill the humans that she drinks from.

46. #46Sinful keyselective

    Keys: Sinful key

    USED BY Guren, Saito, Ferid. A Sinful Key is what Shikama Dōji calls a cross-shaped dagger like object, and they are referred to by others. In the whole world there are seven sinful keys in total. They are obtainable via a few methods and multiple keys can be possessed by a single individual. The keys are connected to Mikaela and seen as the means to resurrect angels who has perished.

    Connected with seraphs the sinful keys are kept within the bodies of human hosts, namely ones who were involved with Seraph Experiments. Upon a human being restrained either through medication or death, a single key is ejected from their body. It is unknown why a Sinful Key shows up when few Seraphs are killed or neutralized.

    The objects themselves were formed in the prehistoric past when seraphs including human appearing angels had formed a settlement on Earth. Seemingly made in secret, Sika Madu appeared to have siphoned off some of the light being gathered in the Tower of Babel and stored them as seven lights within the body of Mikaela.

47. #47Mirai Kimizukiselective

    Keys: Mirai Kimizuki

    Race human,Seraph.

    Mirai Kimizuki is the younger sister of Shihō Kimizuki . She was infected with the apocalypse virus despite being a little girl and was being treated in a hospital. Shihō joined the Japanese Imperial Demon Army in order to gain access to the military resources that were needed to cure her as the virus could not be treated in civilian hospitals. It would transpire that Mirai had been subject to seraph based experiments which would culminate in her body hosting the Fifth Trumpet.

    Mirai Kimizuki Apperance = Mirai is a young girl with long reddish brown hair, reddish-pink eyes and she has purple curse marks from the Apocalypse Virus on the left side of her face that fluctuate with her current state of welfare.

    She is often shown wearing a hospital gown.

    Seraph Mirai no longer has the curse marks on her face, as the Fifth Trumpet her eyes are dark with peculiar markings on her irises, and sports two pairs of large feathered wings. When Abaddon possess her, the demon manifests in a giant dark figure with many wings and an irregular form behind her. She is still in the hospital gown and is barefooted.

48. #48Fifth Trumpetselective

    Keys: Fifth Trumpet

    The Fifth Trumpet, also referred to as the Angel of Destruction, is a Seraph. Through human experimentation that the Japanese Imperial Demon Army partook in, it can occupy the body of Mirai Kimizuki. Conscious in this state, the seraph can act of its own accord, which often involves bringing the demon Abaddon into existence in a realistic attempt to destroy humanity.

    Fifth Trumpet apperance = Not seen directly on account of existing within a young human girl, the seraph's discernible traits are its four large feather based wings often outstretched on either side. Its presence is also indicated by what may be its true eyes visible in the place of Mirai's. They are golden in color where the sclera is black. There are unique curse mark style markings that cover her skin.

    Fifth Trumpet personality = Anachronistic in its speaking, the Fifth Trumpet's immediate response to humans before it was to lambast them as wretched sinners, then act to kill them all indiscriminately. When under the control of army forces, the Fifth Trumpet obeys verbal directions given to it by humans. Otherwise inactive when close by to the beings it vowed to destroy, the seraph will fight alongside them and commence attack when ordered to. In this state the Fifth Trumpet acts to fight against another seraph. Such malleable, at odds behaviour with what was displayed initially, is indicative of what is controlling it rather than the seraph's regular nature.

49. #49Abaddonselective

    Keys: Abaddon

    Abaddon is a colossal demon who is summoned by Kureto Hīragi from Mirai Kimizuki's Fifth Trumpet. It is the result of seraph experimentation.

    Many humans and vampires are sacrificed to control it and keep it stable, and even the blood of seraphs and demons is required.

    Abaddon apperance = Abaddon starts manifesting as a massive dark mass with an indistinct form as it spirals up behind Mirai. It appears to produce many dark irregular wing-like structures. A glowing half-ring of light with three large diamond-shaped structures cutting through it floats above and behind Abaddon like a crown. A smaller diamond shape is between each larger one.

    Keys: Angels

    Angels,they are real is indicated from seraph based experiments, of which the effects manifest in humans who act as their hosts. From within a human, a seraph's tremendous destructive powers can be displayed.

    The beings themselves appear as cloaked entities with fire where their heads should be. Through some means they have appeared for their power to be relied on by Yu, and their wings resemble that of those seen on Mika. At least three seraphs have shown themselves to be hostile to Shikama Doji.

    It transpires that in the prehistory of Earth there was a civilization of seraphs that were gathering light for a God they were familiar with. In developing the Babel project, the seraphs sought to return to paradise. There appear a different faction of seraphs who are able to use the tonal capabilities of large golden trumpets. Human appearing angels like Sika Madu were also of prominence where they had markedly different temperaments.

    Angels apperance = Three seraphs seemingly not in a human form, in what may very well be their true appearance, were seen as having two wings each. Their facial area was obscured by or may have been a dark smoky fire like substance. Appearing again, the seraphs seem clothed in light-colored folded cloaks. The wispy fire is still present, where two glowing eye like formations are present within the neck of the cloak.

    Physically, seraphs are seen to have burnt blackened like hands with four fingers and a thumb, all pointed at the ends, with exceptionally thin wrists as well. A black wispy like tail that may be a part of them or the cloak is also depicted. Some seraphs have been shown to have head like structures resembling charred wood, and much more notable wisp like tails.

    After being enveloped by a photon based light, it appeared that cloaked seraphs could become human-appearing. Keeping their feathered wings and only them, humanoid angels could appear child and adult like, male or female, and be of different skin tones. Their clothing while cloak-like was still fitted for their new forms.
