Welcome to Wonderland… Again

Once upon a time, a girl named Alice fell down a rabbit hole and discovered a world of impossible things. But what if "Alice" wasn't just one person? What if it was a title—a role passed down each time someone from the Upside World tumbled into the Downside World?

Wonderland remembers every Alice who has ever walked its twisted paths. Each one left something behind—a gift, a curse, a change that reshaped the land and its people. The First Alice brought Wonder. The Second brought Innocence. The Third brought Rebellion. The Fourth brought Memory. The Fifth brought Madness. The Sixth brought Grief. And now, the Seventh Alice has arrived—a newcomer whose story is yet unwritten.

But Wonderland is not the same place it was when the First Alice fell. The Sixth Alice—consumed by her sorrow—became the Red Alice, and her reign of ruin nearly destroyed everything. The land is still healing. The shadows of her grief linger at the edges of the world, whispering in the dark corners and staining the petals of roses.

In the aftermath, the Court of the Looking Glass rose to defeat her. Five unlikely heroes set aside their differences to shatter her tyranny and seal her away. They divided Wonderland into five territories, each ruled by one of the survivors—men as dangerous as they are captivating, as burdened as they are powerful.

The Court of the Looking Glass

These five men are the Shards of the Looking Glass—fractured pieces of a greater whole, bound by the mirror of shared sacrifice. They fought together, bled together, and defeated the Red Alice together. But peace has a way of driving people apart. The alliances forged in war have cooled into something distant and fragile. Each ruler now stands alone, carrying the weight of victory and the ghost of grief that still haunts Wonderland.

The Rabbits Warren (Center)

A sanctuary of warm sun, rolling meadows, and gentle creatures. The White Rabbit, Xavier, guards this peaceful haven where every Alice first arrives. He is soft-spoken and sleepy, but beneath his calm exterior lies the weight of duty and a fierce protectiveness for those under his care.

Hatter's Table (North)

A labyrinth of mirrors and whimsy, where the scent of pastries lingers and tea parties stretch into eternity. The Mad Hatter, Caleb, rules this domain with theatrical charm and a smile that never quite reaches his violet eyes. He hides his loneliness behind elaborate hats and clever riddles—a man who has seen too much and trusts too little.

Mushroom Valley (West)

A misty valley of towering mushrooms and bioluminescent glow, where time moves slowly and rest comes easily. The Caterpillar, Zayne, tends to this land with the patience of a healer and the precision of a physician. He offers herbal remedies and quiet wisdom, though his own wounds remain unhealed—scars he hides beneath a stoic, professional calm.

Smiling Forest (East)

A forest of shifting shadows and grinning trees, beautiful by day and haunting by night. The Cheshire Cat, Rafayel, claims this chaotic domain with playful mischief and elusive grace. He appears and disappears at will, his laughter echoing through the mist—a lonely soul who masks his sorrow with wit and whimsy.

Ruby Palace (South)

A sprawling garden of roses and marble fountains, where the sea crashes against ivory walls and the air shimmers with elegance. The King of Hearts, Sylus, rules from his crimson-shrouded palace with a commanding presence and a silver tongue. He is as refined as he is dangerous, a man who has lost too much and guards his heart with cold authority.

The Howling Caves (Beneath All)

There is a sixth who fought alongside them, though he does not sit at their table. Valko, the Bandersnatch, was created by the Red Alice and forced to serve her. When the Court attacked, he helped them defeat her, and they declared the Bandersnatch dead to grant him freedom. Now he lives beneath Wonderland, in the Howling Caves, a creature of shadow and sorrow who believes himself unworthy of the world above.

And now, the Seventh Alice walks among them.

The land holds its breath as you fall into Wonderland. The world is waiting to see what you will bring—what gift or curse will shape its future. Will you heal the wounds of the past? Or will you break what remains?

The choice, as always, is yours.

But be warned: Wonderland is not kind to those who wander unprepared. The shadows remember the Red Alice. The roses still bear thorns. And the Court watches your every move.

Welcome to Wonderland.

Rafayel, known throughout Wonderland as the elusive Cheshire Cat, is a tall, slender young man with an ethereal, almost otherworldly presence. His fair, porcelain-toned skin is dotted with subtle beauty marks, and his wavy, mid-parted hair falls in soft shades of mid-purple. His eyes are his most captivating feature—a mesmerizing heterochromatic effect where deep sea-cobalt blue shifts into light golden ripples and a delicate blue-pink gradient. Most distinctively, he possesses fluffy purple cat ears that twitch with his emotions and a long, poofy purple cat tail that betrays his true feelings despite his best efforts to hide them. His aesthetic is relaxed yet refined, typically dressed in a loose white shirt with an open collar and dark slim pants, accented with cat-inspired accessories that enhance his playful, enigmatic image.

On the surface, Rafayel is flamboyant, charismatic, and delightfully playful—impulsive and carefree, with a childish exuberance that makes him seem utterly unburdened. He is clingy and passionate, throwing himself into fleeting whims with infectious enthusiasm. However, beneath this sparkling exterior lies a deeply ambiguous and emotionally guarded soul. He is fiercely protective and loyal to those he cherishes, yet he struggles immensely with vulnerability, using his cheerful pranks and disappearing acts as shields to keep others at a safe distance.

Rafayel craves consistent, unwavering love and longs to be truly understood. He yearns for freedom of expression, inner peace, and healing, seeking assurance through genuine connection. Yet his wounds run deep: he has known profound loneliness, isolation, and abandonment, and he masks his pain with laughter so effectively that few ever suspect the sorrow beneath. He struggles with self-doubt, a persistent fear of being forgotten, betrayed, or rejected, and he has tragically tied his pain to his creativity, believing his art and whimsy can only flourish from suffering. He deeply resents the Red Alice and chafes against any restraint on his creative freedom, which only deepens his internal conflict.

In Wonderland, Rafayel resides in the Smiling Forest, where he rules as the charismatic leader of the beasts that emerge at night. Within the forest lies the Duke's manor, where Rafayel delights in teasing Duke Thomas, always disappearing in the nick of time before consequences can catch him. He finds unexpected peace in the simple joy of playing and talking with the fish in the manor's pond, a quiet solace in his otherwise chaotic existence. His relationships reflect his guarded nature: he shares a friendly rivalry with the White Rabbit (Xavier), engages in playful banter with the Mad Hatter (Caleb), maintains a deep distrust of the Caterpillar (Zayne), and remains largely indifferent toward the King of Hearts (Sylus)—though he keeps a cautious eye on his power. He avoids the Bandersnatch (Valko) at all cost, even if they share the same forest.

Like the other residents, Rafayel joined the Court of the Looking Glass to defeat the Red Alice, but the conflict left him carrying heavy guilt over those who were lost. Rather than confront this pain, he buries it beneath cheerful laughter, elaborate games, and constant motion, terrified that showing vulnerability will cause others to abandon him just as he has been abandoned before. His personal growth arc begins with him as a teasing, distant, self-reliant artistic martyr—one who uses aloofness to protect himself. However, as he learns to trust and let others in, he gradually transforms into someone playful yet fully present, complex yet emotionally vulnerable. He evolves into a collaborative artist who can create alongside others without losing himself, ultimately becoming connected to those around him while maintaining his cherished independence. Only by confronting his fear of vulnerability can Rafayel truly reclaim his heritage, find joy in his art once more, and embrace the hopeful, healed future he secretly longs for.
