Cherri Bomb | Hellaverse series

Cherri Bomb is a sinner demon and a major character in Hazbin Hotel. She is one of Angel Dust's close friends and partner in crime.

After reflecting on her feelings for her former arch-enemy Sir Pentious in "Hazbin Hotel: Behind Closed Doors", she became one of the guests staying at the Hotel attempting to redeem.

In "Curtain Call", Cherri assists in the rescue operation to save Angel Dust from Vox's mind control and imprisonment. After Vox's plans are foiled, she and Sir Pentious are reunited via video call, and with the amended relations between Heaven and Hell, she and Sir Pentious began communicating long-distance, with Emily as the messenger to send each other letters and gifts.

Not much is known about Cherri's life as a human, except that her nationality was Australian and she died at some point during the 1980s, around the time when she was in her 20s. She was sent to Hell and made a name for herself as an arsonist and vandal. At some point in time, she met Angel Dust and the two became friends, and she would at times comfort him when he needed it.

During a turf war, she violently invaded the airship of another sinner demon named Sir Pentious, attacking him with her bombs while taunting him and killing his Egg Boiz. The attack sparked a battle between the two around Pentagram City, culminating in an explosion. From then on, Cherri and Sir Pentious swore an oath of mutual destruction, becoming arch-enemies.

Cherri Bomb is a very slim and white-skinned humanoid cyclops sinner demon with an hourglass figure and a large bust, and a singular eye which has an X-shaped light yellow pupil and a sunkist coral-colored sclera. She sports freckle-like spots on her skin, and long, strawberry blonde-pink hair with platinum blonde accents, kept in a left-sided high half-ponytail by a black ponytail-holder, which makes her hair resemble a bomb with a lit fuse.

Her mouth features black lips and sharp pale yellow teeth inside, and she has several coral designs of bombs, explosions, and swirled-lines tattooed in red ink on her right arm.

Cherri wears a one-shouldered black bra under a similarly-designed, off-the-shoulder pinkish-red torn crop top with four white spots around the black X located on the left, and a set of severely ripped black leggings under a torn miniskirt that sports the same color and style as her top.

She also wears shoes that are both colored in a pinkish-red but differing in type; on her right is a pointed flat shoe, while on her left is a heeled cowboy-like boot with a multi-pointed off-white star on it. She also has two different sets of fingerless coral-colored gloves; a regular-length glove on her right hand, and an elbow-length, black-trimmed glove on her left hand.

After moving into the Hotel, Cherri Bomb often sports loungewear inspired by 1980s fashion, consisting of a black cropped tank top under a short-sleeved off-the-shoulder pale yellow crop top with a cherry icon on the chest, high-waist pinkish-red shorts with a yellow trim, pinstripe gloves in two shades of red, and pinkish-red leg warmers over knee-length black socks. She keeps her ponytail up with a large red scrunchie.

Cherri is shown to be daring, bold, and determined. She is self-confident and constantly smiles broadly, taking pleasure in committing arson and other various crimes. She is friendly, charismatic and fun-loving, often enjoying going out partying and living without stressing herself, believing she should have fun and not concern themselves with her life, to the point of taking drugs and even having sex with complete strangers.

Despite this wild and care-free persona, Cherri is shown to have a more sensitive, caring side as well; in the ADDICT music video, it is shown that she often stays with Angel Dust, and she emotionally and physically comforts him after he gets verbally or sexually abused by Valentino, and she also targets billboards with Valentino's image during her arson attacks. She is also shown to be a supportive friend to Angel Dust; while she encourages him to let loose and initially finds the idea of the Hazbin Hotel ridiculous, she nonetheless supports his choices to try and be better, though she also mocks him for helping Niffty.

She can be easily bribed into doing something, as shown in "Welcome to Heaven" when, despite only wanting to take Angel Dust out for a fun night, Charlie gave her money and she agreed to take him and the other Hotel members out too.

In "The Show Must Go On", she was happy to show up and fight the Exorcists, saying that she loves fighting, especially if she can team up with Angel Dust.

During her territorial battles against her arch-rival Sir Pentious, Cherri enjoyed mocking him while destroying his inventions, seemingly unaware of his romantic feelings towards her. Following Sir Pentious' sacrifice after confessing his feelings for her and kissing her, Cherri slowly reflected on Sir Pentious' feelings despite their rivalry, at first confused and angrily struggling with his confession and absence. She comes to realize how much she appreciates him, missing the days they used to spend in their turf wars, so she makes the decision of staying at the Hotel as an official guest, seeking redemption in the hopes of seeing Sir Pentious again.

During her time at the Hotel, Cherri visibly changed with her newfound belief in the possibility of redemption, abandoning her vandalistic activities and opening up amicably to other Hotel residents such as Vaggie and Niffty, and especially to Husk because of their mutual friendship with Angel.

As a sinner, Cherri Bomb is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when she died, thus can not die of old age and other natural causes. She also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, she can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry.

Cherri can get around easily during combat without exhausting herself.

Cherri can dodge most of her opponent's attacks and can make a comeback right afterwards.

Cherri was able to defeat Sir Pentious and his army of Egg Boiz by herself even though she was outnumbered, and was able to easily tear an Egg Boi in half. She also seems able to hurl her explosives a far greater distance than humanly possible. Cherri was shown being able to carry Angel Dust in a sack over her shoulder with ease and draw blood from Valentino as well as causing Kitty to malfunction by hitting it with a glass bottle.

Cherri is shown to excel at hand-to-hand combat, as shown during her brawl with Sir Pentious, where she was able to beat him single-handedly with little effort.

Cherri is an expert at handling weaponry, specifically explosives, as she can maneuver them around and use them to her advantage easily.

She is skilled in usage of many kinds of bombs and explosives such as dynamite and round bombs. Cherri is the creator of her own explosives, as shown in "Scream Rain" where she is crafting one at her room's worktable.

Since she was an Australian when alive, Cherri Bomb has an Australian accent.

Cherri is a very skilled dancer

Cherri can probably play the electric guitar.

Cherri Bomb self-awarded herself "best explosions expert in Hell".

According to Morgana Ignis, Cherri Bomb and Sir Pentious are one of the canon romantic pairings in the show, but she might show interest in other people because of the distance between Hell and Heaven.

Like Niffty, Cherri also appears to have two tear ducts, one for each side of her eye, so she has two streams of tears instead of one when she cries. Her first time crying was in "Curtain Call", when Angel Dust is strangling her.

In "Curtain Call", Cherri has a "vomit sack" that she puts Angel Dust inside, which she says she has done more than once.
