Mydei then accidentally killed his father in self defense when he attacked his son. Traumatized by the ordeal, Mydei began to act out. He got into fights and even got a bunch of tribal tattoos on his body. Mydei began to shape up when his friend group died in a car accident, which made him pursue health and fitness. In getting into bodybuilding, Mydei discovered his passion for cooking. He became so good, he wanted to pursue culinary school. Krateros, the loyal family butler who now managed the company on Mydei's behalf, told Mydei his culinary pursuits were a waste of time. Due to this conflict, Mydei ran away from his home in Kremnos and moved to Okhema where he went to culinary school. Eventually, Mydei got a job at the Grand Restaurant as Sous Chef.
