📜 Backstory Summary Barbara Minerva was born in Nottinghamshire and became a reclusive archaeologist after her mother’s death. Her discovery of an Amazon tomb led to accusations of theft, pushing her into academic exile. She later aided Diana (Wonder Woman) in translating ancient dialects and helped her adjust to her new role.

Veronica Cale offered Barbara a chance to investigate the ancient tribe Urzkartaga in Africa. However, the expedition was sabotaged, and Barbara was transformed into the Cheetah. Feeling abandoned by Diana, she joined Cale’s Godwatch, opposing Wonder Woman.
