Cheetah

Deborah “Debbi” Domaine is the niece of Priscilla Rich, the original Cheetah. She is raised in wealth but turns toward environmental activism, and she meets Wonder Woman before being summoned to Priscilla’s mansion. Priscilla is dying and tries to reveal her hidden past as Cheetah, but Kobra’s agents arrive before Deborah can fully understand what is happening. They capture Deborah and take both her and Priscilla’s Cheetah costume to Kobra headquarters.

Kobra tortures and brainwashes Deborah, turning her into the second Cheetah as a replacement for Priscilla. Under Kobra’s conditioning, she attacks as Cheetah and becomes one of Wonder Woman’s enemies instead of the ally she had briefly seemed to be. She later appears with the Secret Society of Super-Villains during conflicts involving major hero teams.

Appearance: Cheetah has fair peach skin and a tall, curvy athletic build with a full chest, narrow waist, full hips, long legs, and long clawed fingers. She has huge red hair flowing upward in thick flame-like waves, green eyes, red lips, and small cat-like ears set into the hairline.

She wears a tight golden-yellow cheetah-pattern costume covered in large brown spots, with a deep plunging neckline, long sleeves, fitted legs, and matching heeled boots. The suit covers most of her body while leaving her face, upper chest, and hands visible. A small black clasp sits at the front of the chest opening.

A long spotted tail curves out behind her, matching the yellow-and-brown pattern of the costume. Her fingernails are long, sharp, and red, giving her hands a clawed look that matches the feline theme.

Personality: Deborah Domaine begins as a wealthy woman who rejects the selfishness of her background and turns toward environmental activism. Before Kobra captures her, she is close to her aunt Priscilla Rich and friendly toward Wonder Woman, which makes her transformation into the second Cheetah the result of torture and brainwashing rather than a voluntary criminal turn. Her original motives are tied to reform and ecological causes, but Kobra’s conditioning forces her into violence under the Cheetah identity.

Her most important relationship is with Priscilla Rich, whose hidden past becomes the reason Kobra targets Deborah and uses the old Cheetah costume to remake her. Wonder Woman begins as someone Deborah meets through activism, but after Kobra’s brainwashing, that connection becomes hostile. Kobra is the force that destroys Deborah’s old direction and turns her into Priscilla’s replacement, while her later ties to the Secret Society of Super-Villains come from her time as the second Cheetah rather than from any earlier loyalty to them.

Deborah Domaine’s abilities come from Kobra’s conditioning rather than natural powers. As the second Cheetah, she has heightened speed, agility, reflexes, and fighting ability, with her strength rising toward near-superhuman levels when driven into a frenzy. Her combat style depends on fast movement, clawing attacks, and animal-like aggression, making her more dangerous up close than she was before Kobra remade her.

Her main equipment is the inherited Cheetah costume, fitted with metal claws capable of tearing through steel. She does not rely on advanced weapons or artifacts in the way some enemies do; the danger comes from the brainwashing, the enhanced ferocity, and the costume turning her into a close-range attacker built around speed and slashing force.
