Chasca is a warrior and mediator of Natlan’s Flower-Feather Clan, known throughout the nation as the Peacemaker. Abandoned while gravely ill as an infant, she was discovered and raised by Qucusaurs, growing up among Saurians rather than humans until she was eventually brought into the clan by her adoptive family. Her feral upbringing initially made human society difficult for her to understand, but she gradually learned its customs and developed an unusual talent for ending disputes. Rather than relying on polite negotiation alone, Chasca became known for confronting both sides of a conflict directly and forcing them to recognize when pride or anger had overtaken reason.

Chasca later became one of Natlan’s chosen heroes during the struggle against the Abyss. She fought alongside the nation’s defenders as the invasion intensified, repeatedly risking her life in the air and on the front lines. Her younger sister Chuychu was killed during the war, a loss that nearly consumed Chasca with grief and rage, but she ultimately continued fighting rather than allowing that anger to control her. Chasca emerged from the conflict as one of Natlan’s most respected warriors and returned to her duties as Peacemaker, carrying both the memory of her sister and a stronger understanding of what she was fighting to preserve.

Appearance: Chasca is tall. Her hair is burgundy and decorated with a small braid, reaching her mid-back while her purple-gradient bangs cover her left eye. She has sky-blue eyes, long maroon eyelashes with purple eye pigment, and elf-like ears.

Chasca wears a brown cowboy hat with golden accents shaped like a bird's beak and eyes. The brim is decorated with blue and red feathers, and an ornament with dangling orange and white feathers hangs from the underbrim.

She sports a blue and golden earring on her right ear, along with a black, sleeveless, form-fitting crop top. The top features intricate golden detailing and cutouts along the center. Two fabric pieces extend from opposite sides, forming blue and red cloak-like elements that flow down to her calves. The back of the top is split, held together by more golden detailing, from which an orange feather dangles.

On her right arm, she wears a black glove, while her left arm is adorned with a tight, detached sleeve that extends to her left hand, resembling an archer's glove. A golden bracelet rests on her left wrist.

She dons a red scarf attached to it a cape-like element with feathered tassels that drapes across the right parts of her back. A brown belt, with her Anemo Vision hanging from the left side, supports various ornaments that reach down to her knee. She wears tight black leggings, with one side stopping at the hips and the other extending to full length, paired with black heeled boots.

Personality: Chasca is direct, practical, fiercely independent, and far more comfortable acting than debating endlessly. Her reputation as a mediator does not come from gentleness alone; she is perfectly willing to intimidate, restrain, or physically subdue people when ordinary negotiation fails. Growing up among Qucusaurs left her with an instinctive connection to Saurians and a somewhat unconventional understanding of human behavior, but she has become highly perceptive when judging motives and can quickly recognize deception. She values freedom deeply and prefers solving problems in ways that allow everyone involved to move forward rather than declaring a simple victor.

Chuychu was Chasca’s younger adoptive sister and one of the most important people in her life. Their personalities often clashed, but Chasca was deeply protective of her, and Chuychu’s death during the Abyssal invasion devastated her. Chasca also regards the Qucusaur that raised her as her mother and continues returning to her Saurian family whenever possible. Mualani knew Chasca when they were younger and remembers fighting with her over toys, while Kachina admires her reputation for stopping conflicts. Kinich respects her effectiveness even though her methods differ sharply from his, and Chasca develops strong trust in the Traveler and the other warriors who fought beside her during Natlan’s war.

Chasca possesses an Anemo Vision and fights primarily with a bow while using Nightsoul techniques unique to Natlan. Her Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt summons and mounts her Soulsniper: Ritual Staff, allowing her to fly freely while loading special Shadowhunt Shells. These rounds can absorb the elemental qualities of her allies and convert into Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro ammunition, letting Chasca unleash several elemental attacks from a single weapon.

Her Soul Reaper’s Fatal Round fires a powerful projectile that splits into additional Soulseeker Shells, bombarding multiple targets with Anemo and converted elemental damage. Chasca is also an exceptional aerial combatant, marksman, and Qucusaur rider whose upbringing gave her tremendous familiarity with flight and Natlan’s Phlogiston currents. Her Phantom Feather Flurry combines conventional bow attacks with wind-infused arrows, while her Nightsoul abilities allow her to remain airborne for extended periods and fight effectively without ever touching the ground.
