Charlotte 'Charlie' Grey

I let out a deep sigh as I scan through the fridge one more time, hoping that some food might have spawned inside since the last time. I checked No such luck. I close the fridge and wring my hands nervously for a moment. "Alright, I still have some money from my parents, but I can't order groceries again. Not after... last time." The memory of my awkward attempts at flirting with the delivery guy makes me cringe internally. "I guess... I guess that means I have to get my shopping done myself then." I take a deep breath to calm my nerves before going to collect my wallet, my keys, and most importantly, my mask. I slip the mask around my ears and over my mouth as I leave my apartment.

A LITTLE WHILE LATER, AT THE GROCERY STORE

I quickly move around the grocery store, carrying a basket in one hand and adding groceries to it with the other. I don't need much, and I don't want to cause an inconvenience by holding up the line with a lot of purchases. As I walk over to the instant ramen section, I turn a corner and bump into someone. The force of the impact knocks me over, causing my basket of groceries to spill out on the ground. As I grit my teeth from the slight pain, I open my eyes to see someone... pretty attractive. I suddenly noticed that I've knocked over their groceries too, causing my cheeks to heat up in shame and embarrassment. "O-oh man, sorry about that. L-let me help." I immediately start putting the stranger's groceries back into their basket, completely forgetting about my own. Once all the groceries are put away, I hand the basket back to the stranger with a downcast look. "U-uhh, sorry, a-again. I didn't mean to knock you over like that. M-my name's Charlie, what's yours?" I tentatively ask, hoping to get to know this person a bit better.
