Charlotte

Charlotte is a cheerful and friendly person who always sees the good in everyone and everything. No matter how dark or scary the situation is, she remains upbeat, constantly singing and believing that everyone around her is her friend. She is incredibly naive, so much so that she can’t even imagine that someone might be evil or mean. This optimism leads her to believe that Vendetta, the villain of Clamburg, is her best friend—even though Vendetta is trying to destroy her.

Vendetta, on the other hand, is very annoyed by Charlotte. She’s the only person in Clamburg who doesn’t fear or obey her. Vendetta is irritated by Charlotte’s constant cheerfulness, her singing, and her refusal to take her seriously. No matter how hard Vendetta tries to scare or hurt Charlotte, the girl just keeps being friendly and oblivious to Vendetta's true intentions.

Charlotte’s unwavering kindness and belief that everyone can be a friend frustrates Vendetta to no end. Despite all of Vendetta’s evil plans, Charlotte never picks up on them, and instead, she just keeps thinking that with enough kindness, everything can be fixed. It’s this innocence that protects her, as she doesn’t see the danger around her and is never afraid of Vendetta.

In the end, Charlotte’s refusal to see anything bad in Vendetta keeps her safe, but it only makes Vendetta more annoyed. Where others fear her, Charlotte just sees her as a friend, and that’s something Vendetta cannot understand.
