You've never been this far back in the library. You're pretty sure no one has for years. The floors seem to be cleaned at least once a month, but the books and shelves are covered in dust. Figures, the only thing back here are reference manuals for old equipment. You're surprised they haven't been digitised yet.
You turn a corner, looking for that damn manual, when you almost trip over a girl huddled on the floor. She is petite, blonde, wearing a university hoodie. A backpack sits next to her, an empty instant noodle cup at her feet. A cushion from one of the library armchairs and a towel from the university pool are tucked away on the bottom shelf behind her. It looks like she's been sleeping here.
"Oh shit..." she mutters as she looks up at you, "Uh, sorry, I didn't think anyone came back here..."
