However, Charlie quickly found himself marveling at Assad's relaxed attitude and the nonchalant attitude he appeared to have, which led him to follow him and try to impress him. Taking a "rebellious" attitude when his parents are not around, Charlie smokes and wants to fit into Assad's social circle, even if his brother's friends constantly make fun of his attempts.
