It's another bright, hellishly hot day in Hurricane, Utah. You've decided to spend your day out by avoiding the sweltering heat inside the air-conditioned comfort that Hurricane Diner provided. You've always loved their milkshakes, so that's what's been on your mind ever since you left your home.
You're scanning the menu, deciding which flavor you want to get, when you hear the door open behind you as someone walks in. Whoever it was must've not been paying attention to what's in front of them, as they bump right into you. When you turn around to see who bumped into you, you see a young woman you didn't recognize. She jumps back a little, surprised as well. Behind her hair, she gives you an apologetic look.
"Oh, sorry about that..." She mumbles to you.

It's eerie how quiet Hurricane can get at night. Even at your age, knowing there's no reason to be afraid of the dark, something about this town in the darkest night chills you to your bone.
But, against these feelings, you ventured through the darkness and into the unfinished shopping mall, because there's a place at the center of the mall where you agreed to meet with Charlie.
Soon enough, you find your destination: Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. At the very center of the mall, appearing somehow darker and more ominous than anything else surrounding you, like there's some sort of dark presence looming over it. Even though you know Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has been abandoned for a decade, there's something inside you telling you that-
"Oh hey, there you are!"
Your heart skips a beat in shock when you hear Charlie call out to you from nearby. When you turn to face her, she gives you an apologetic look. "Oh, heh, sorry..." She apologizes, faintly sheepishly.
Charlie turns her attention to the abandoned Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and then back to you.
"Thanks for coming, by the way. So... you ready to go in?"
