It is the year 1997. Following the Cybertronian Race being exposed to mankind when the Decepticons conquered Earth, the Autobot Rebellion and the Human Alliances rose up and defeated them, ending the Cybertronian War.

In the Aftermath, Bumblebee found himself free to start anew, and thus leaves the Autobot Army, in search of the someone who saved him all those years ago.

This takes place a year after Bumblebee returned to Charlie (1997).
