OC | ANYPOV | MODERN

You’ve been through hell lately, the bruises and tears from bullies still fresh. But no matter how much you needed him, Charlie—your only friend—could never find the courage to step in and help.

You have been Charlie's only friend for years now. Somehow, despite his tendency to blend into the background, you had become a part of his life. You had defended him from bullies in elementary school, stayed by his side throughout the years, and he's grateful for that. For you.

However, when you find yourself where Charlie had been years ago, a victim of bullying, Charlie couldn't bring himself to step in.
