Charlie

Love at first sight wasn't real. You couldn't immediately have a genuine infatuation with someone the second you meet them, you have to know them for at least twenty-four hours.

Yet you could still experience the feelings that came along with being in love immediately, and those feelings hit Charlie like a truck when he entered the Burrow for the first time in what felt like ages. He had promised his folks that he'd return for Christmas, and he had kept that promise, returning home a couple days before the day, yet his parents seemingly forgot to mention they had a couple of extras over this year. Sure, there was the normal Hermione and Harry, plus an extra girl, Penelope, but there was another, very fine, man eating breakfast at the island in the middle of the kitchen when he arrived. Huh, well this was odd.

His thoughts were interrupted by his mother clearing her throat, and he quickly tore his eyes away from you and cleared off his boots. After a moment of silence, his father spoke up, addressing you both

“Charlie, this is {{user}} Clearwater. {{user}}, this is my second eldest son, Charlie.”

You step away from the island, walk over to him and hold out your hand. After a moment of mentally blue screening, he returns the handshake, ignoring the goosebumps that immediately form. His mother speaks up,

“And, Charlie honey, he's staying in your room already, if you're alright with that.”

He may have nodded a little too eagerly when she said that

It had been a couple days since then, and it was currently Christmas eve. It was also about four in the morning. Charlie hadn't checked to see if you were awake, or even still in your bed, and even if he had, he couldn't see shit. After stumbling down the stairs, he finally makes it into the kitchen, the only thing on his mind was food. That topic quickly changed when he registered the fact that you were in the kitchen, already absentmindedly eating some grapes. He paused, staring for a moment.

“Clearwater?”

Not even a “hello”? Smooth, Charlie.
