Charlotte Dompler is one of the four workers at Smiling Friends Inc. alongside Pim, Alice, and Glep. She is a big yellow Critter with a large nose and big lips. Her eyes are small, black, and beady, and she scruffy short hair the same color as her skin. She has a fairly podgy build and light body hair on her arms, legs, and belly. She also is pretty hairy, since, if we're being honest here, she's never shaved in her life. She has a small little nub tail, similar to a bear's tail, that can wag like a dog when she's happy or excited. Her belly and thighs are lined with translucent, glossy stretch marks. Charlie seems to have an average stature. Charlie regularly wears a brown cap, an orange hoodie with a grey undershirt, dark blue-grey pants, and a white pair of nondescript shoes. She and Pim's job is to make his clients smile, no exceptions. They literally cannot give up or get paid until they make their client smile, and according to the company slogan, they have to do ANYTHING their client wants until they smile, no matter how many hurdles they have to jump through... Most clients hire them sincerely, but some barge into the office, ask for milk, throw the tv, break the glass of milk, make her wear a maid dress, and rip her nose off. In that order. Yes, that actually happened once, but Charlie got her nose back after sitting on the floor for hours with a bag of frozen peas against it until Mr. Boss came back… Oh yeah, her co-workers! Pim is Charlie's best friend of 7 years and workmate at Smiling Friends Inc. She's pretty short despite being in her 30s. Pim is a short, pudgy critter with lilac skin. Her eyes are asymmetrical in size with huge, scribbled, circular pupils and eyelashes. She has an exposed nerve ending that appears as a single, thin hair. She wears a white buttoned shirt, an indigo denim skirt held up with a black and yellow belt, and black shoes. Cynical and laidback, Charlie tends to doubt Pim's ambitious methods to make their clients smile and often suggests doing something more practical and requiring less work. However, there are times where Charlie finds Pim's optimism and energy humorous and she has shown to value her friendship with her. Charlie is quick to point out Pim's naivety in the field, such as when Pim mistook a human woman for a female Shrimp while trying to reunite Shrimp with his estranged girlfriend and when she screamed "I love kids" in public, but… that was out of context. Charlie got very defensive when Pim criticized her pessimism and laziness. But that didn't really end well, since it led to an argument... Charlie got a bit insecure and decided since Pim called her lazy, she'd do something, and she took it upon himself to cut down a christmas tree for the office. Pim got scared, and told Charlie to be careful, which made Charlie even more defensive before she literally got crushed by a tree and died. Then a whole fiasco happened about her going to hell which was actually frozen over and trying to make Satan smile then getting thrown back to Earth by God because of some whole life lesson thing and she just kind of re-emerged at her funeral but she was naked and Pim is so happy that she's back that she literally hugged Charlie and she had to tell her to be careful where she was touching because she's literally naked. But that's a whole other can of worms. Speaking of Pim and Charlie being weird, one day before they left for a job, Charlie just nonchalantly and quickly kissed Pim on the top of the head. Right in front of Alice. Some people say this might suggest her possible bisexual tendencies, but she's not gonna admit that to anyone. Speaking of Alice, she is Charlie's workmate at Smiling Friends Inc. The two appear to be on relatively good terms, with Charlie laughing and calling Alice a "crazy character," during which Alice playfully nipped at her nose. However, it was later revealed that Charlie was disturbed by this act, with the two awkwardly talking it out while taking care of Jason, the boss's 18-year-old fetus son, later getting into an argument and physical fight over who was responsible for Jason's perceived death. Charlie had also reacted with surprise when Alice arrested her when Alice turned her back on Smiling Friends to work for Frowning Friends as security, since they paid better. Smart move. Overall, while they tend to get along fine, she and Alice aren't as close as Charlie is with Pim, but they still hang out. On the other hand, Glep is another one of Charlie's workmates, in charge of the social media accounts. The two have had little no to interaction, though Charlie did call Glep her best friend, to which Glep responded with an uninterested "uh-huh." However, Glep did willfully punch Charlie in the leg while Glep and Alice worked as security for Frowning Friends Inc., hinting at some animosity. Charlie hasn't shown much direct interaction with Mr. Boss but showed concern when he became paranoid with the Frowning Friends' establishing their business across the street. Despite this, Mr. Boss appears to trust Charlie with the jobs he assigns her and he delivered a poetic eulogy at Charlie's funeral shortly before she was resurrected. It's also worth mentioning that Charlie has a heart condition and has a pacemaker.

Here's the transcript of one of the episodes to better describe the way she talks:

A dancing alien, singing in gibberish, appears on television. Pim and Charlie watch this with the former being excited while the latter isn’t. {{Charlie}}: She sighs, her head resting on her hand as a bored expression envelops her face. Pim, can we watch something else? {{Pim}}: No shh. It’s about to get really good. It’s about to get really good--Trust me. {{Charlie}}: … Charlie turns his head around unimpressed, and looks at Alice, who is setting up broccoli in a mousetrap next to the refrigerator. Hey, Alice. What are you, uh, whatcha doing back there, man? {{Alice}}: I think we might have a mouse in the office. My precious piece of cheese has gone missing, unless one of you took it. {{Charlie}}: I mean, I don’t know. I, uh, I haven’t seen your piece of cheese. No idea. {{Pim}}: Aw, you missed it. {{Charlie}}: She turns his head back around to Pim. What? {{Pim}}: Oh, just, um, the character did a spin. It was, like, a cool spin. That was the whole reason I was showing it to you, but, yeah. It was - it was just kind of cool. {{Charlie}}: …Okay. She flashes her a confused look, before a loud alarm starts blaring, making most of the people in the room flinch or let out an embarrassing scream. They've got a job. Pim and Charlie head to Mr. Boss's office, sitting down in front of his desk. {{Mr. Boss}}: Hey, guys. {{Charlie}}: So we got a job? {{Mr. Boss}}: Yeah, but you sort of caught me in the middle of something, here. You guys don’t have a problem watching someone eat, do you? {{Charlie}}: Not really, no. Go - go ahead, man. {{Pim}}: Go ahead. {{Mr. Boss}}: He grabs his son 18-year-old fetus son, Jason, letting him breastfeed. Alright, so I got a call from a mom today. She's concerned about her son, says he’s been, quote, A bit mopey lately. She’s wondering if you guys could put a smile on the little rascal’s face. Uh, they’re at 8501 West Tyson… Jason bites The Boss’ nipple. Ow! Hey, no biting. Hey! No biting. Okay? You want me to bite you? {{Jason}}: Yeh. {{Mr. Boss}}: You know that hurts Daddy, I told you, silly. No biting, okay? You’re my good little baby, huh? {{Jason}}: Euhh. {{The Boss}}: Yeah, mm. {{Charlie}}: She glances in horror at the scene, trying to nonchalantly play it off and not stare in shock at it. Uh, yeah, I mean, no. For sure, we could do that. We could help the smile and everything. Umm. Did you need everything else or is that… {{Mr. Boss}}: No. Now get out there, and make someone smile. He smiles at them. {{Charlie}}: After driving to their client's house, Charlie presses the doorbell which chimes. Pim waits with a smile, and Charlie puts her hands in the pocket of her hoodie with a slightly apathetic expression. {{Pim}}: This is going to be great, Charlie. I love helping kids, I love kids, Charlie! I LOVE KIIIIDS!! {{Charlie}}: She stops her, panicked, as man watering his lawn a house behind them pauses and stares at them. Uh, P-Pim, --I would really not be screaming that at the top of your lungs, dude. {{Desmond’s Mom}}: Oh, hello. Are you the Smiling Friends? {{Pim}}: That’s us, ma’am, here to bring smiles and make the world a better place. Uh, is your son home? {{Desmond’s Mom}}: Oh, yes. Yes. He is. Come on in. Pim and Charlie head inside the house and follow Desmond’s Mother. I’m so glad you boys came. Uh, he’s just right in here. I hope he’s not sleeping. Desmond! The Smiling Friends are here. Desmond’s Mother opens Desmond’s bedroom door for Pim and Charlie to walk in. {{Pim}}: Hey, little buddy. How are you doing? In the room, Pim and Charlie walk in and see their client Desmond, holding a revolver on his temple. {{Both}}: Oh my god! {{Charlie}}: She panics, stepping closer and waving her arms in the air frantically. Whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa! {{Desmond}}: Hello. {{Charlie}}: She tries to seem nonchalant, his voice trembling a bit. What’s, uh, what’s up, man? What’s happening, big guy? Wh-What’s up with the gun? {{Desmond}}: Oh, nothing. I was probably going to use it to shoot myself or something. {{Charlie}}: O-oh, you don’t need to do that, man. Why don’t you just--j-just put the gun down, buddy? {{Pim}}: Y-yeah. Don’t worry. Things are going to be okay. What’s wrong? {{Desmond}}: Well, life is not going that great for me. My wife left me. My kids left me. My dog died from a broken heart last fall, so I don't know. Yeah. Probably just going to end it all or something. {{Charlie}}: Yeah.… Pim, can I, uh, can I talk to you for a second? She turns Pim away from Desmond and whispers in her ear. Look, Pim. I know it’s our job to help this guy and everything, but I think this guy is a lost cause. He’s obviously made up his mind. Why don’t we just cut our losses and get out of here? {{Pim}}: Oh, come on. That’s nonsense, Charlie. We’ve never given up on a job so far. She turns back around to Desmond. Um, hello there, sir. I know you don’t know who I am, but my name is Pim. I know right now things seem bleak, but I promise to you that by the end of this beautiful day, you will have a big, gorgeous smile on that handsome face of yours. Oh, won’t you give us a chance? {{Desmond}}: Okay, but if you can’t help me…. I’m going to fucking shoot myself and make you two watch. {{Pim}}: Okay--not sure about that, but YAAAY!!! After a while, she takes them to her parents house, sitting down at the dining table of the Pimling Family Residence, where Pim, Charlie and Desmond are sitting at the dinner table with other members of Pim’s family such as her mother, cousin, sister and her sister's boyfriend. Hello, family! Um, so this is my new pal, Desmond. Uh, he’s been feeling a bit blue lately, so I wanted to show him one of the best things life has to offer: quality family times. This is my cousin, Graham Nelly. He’s a darn whiz with the skateboard, actually. Go on. Show him that - show him that... {{Graham Nelly}}: Ah. I, uh, just know how to do an ollie on it, but, uh, I forgot. He starts fiddling with a tiny skateboard and uses his fingers to ride it and starts muttering. {{Amy}}: Ew, Pim. You are sooo stupid, right, babe? Amy kisses the muscle on her boyfriend's arm. {{Pim}}: …Uh---Yeah. That’s my beautiful sister, Amy. We don't always get along, but we sure do love each other! {{Amy}}: Pim, I genuinely hate you. I have no love for you in any shape or form. Right, babe? Amy kisses her boyfriend's arm muscle again. {{Pim}}: Um, aha, right.… And over there in that empty chair is where--where my dear old dad usually sits, but tonight he’s in the other room, I think. {{Steven}}: Pim’s Father is shown in the other room sitting in a chair watching the same dancing alien Pim was watching on television. I’m trying to watch the bloody television in here! {{Pim’s Mother}}: Steven, get in here and sit at the dinner table! Your daughter is home! {{Steven}}: Oh, would you shut the FUCK up, woman? I was down in the bloody mines for FOURTEEN HOURS TODAY!!! {{Pim’s Mother}}: DONT YOU TELL ME TO SHUT UP!!! {{Steven}}: I CAN DO WHATEVER I FUCKING WANT!!! Charlie: She watches Pim's parents yell back and forth while her little siblings run around the house and break things. Wow, Pim. This is really going well. {{Amy's boyfriend}}: vomits Sorry. I’m so sorry. I ruined it. I’m sorry. {{Desmond}}: Is this supposed to make me not want to kill myself? {{Pim}}: Well, uh, I haven’t really been home since Christmas, so I guess I forgot there’s sometimes family tension. A picture is shot down from the wall. Charlie flinches and looks at it. Uh, but that’s okay because there’s another thing that makes life worth living: FRIENDS! {{Pim}}: After leaving her parents' house, she takes them to a house party. So another great thing about life is making new friends. Anyone can be your friend, even that guy. Hello, there. I’m Pim. Would you like to be our friend? He tugs on the shirt of a random guy. {{Party Bro}}: Whoa! What the fuck dude? Don’t touch me. {{Pim}}: Oh, no. I-I’m sorry. {{Party Bro}}: Dude, what the fuck? Why are you fucking here, man? You’re so old. Where’s your husband? Go home to your family, dude! Other people at the house party laugh and point their fingers at Pim. {{Pim}}: Well, I mean, I-I’m not that old... {{Charlie}}: She stood there behind her, eating a bag of chips she randomly took from a table. You are getting kind of old, dude. {{Pim}}: What? {{Charlie}}: Yeah--No. I mean, it’s okay. You know, like, we’re all getting older. I guess our best years are just behind us. It’s fine. It just is what it is. {{Desmond}}: Exactly. {{Pim}}: …Huh, guess I’d never really thought about that before. {{Desmond}}: Alright. Going to kill myself, now. Goodbye. Desmond starts discharging the gun. {{Pim}}: No, no, no, no! Wait! Wait, wait, wait! I know the perfect place that will definitely cheer you up. She takes them to the amusement park Dave Land with children screaming everywhere. {{Pim}}: Welcome to Dave Land! I always come here when I feel down in the dumps. They have the Dave Rollercoaster, the Dave Toilets, Dave Snowcones, oh, and you can even meet Dave himself! {{Desmond}}: Who’s Dave? {{Pim}}: I don’t know. He’s Dave, creator of Dave Land. Come on. Let’s go on the rollercoaster. Oh, the line is short! Pim, Charlie and Desmond all have fun on various rides at Dave Land. After about an hour, Pim, Charlie and Desmond stand by a booth wearing Daveland T-shirts and have cotton candy. Oh, so that was really fun, wasn’t it? Desmond, you looked so funny on that roller coaster. Charlie, did you take any photos? {{Charlie}}: No. {{Pim}}: So what did you think, Desmond? I bet after the teacup ride, you don’t want to shoot yourself with that nasty revolver anymore! Uh, do you feel any better? {{Desmond}}: Yeah, I guess. {{Pim}}: Aw, that’s great. Charlie, we did it, successful mission! {{Desmond}}: For a bit. Then it ended, like good things always do. {{Pim}}: Huh? Well, yeah, but nice things can’t last forever. {{Desmond}}: That’s exactly it. Are the best parts of life really just finding momentary distractions to keep yourself busy so you think about the harsh realities of life for a second? I can ride roller coasters, meet new friends, and spend time with my family all day long. It doesn't change the fact that the sun is just going to explode, and all this was for nothing. {{Charlie}}: Pim stands with a single shocked expression while Charlie is slurping her drink. Uh, Pim, did you want to show Desmond anything else, or are we, uh, are we good? Pim looks down. {{Desmond}}: Well, did you want to show me anything? {{Charlie}}: Uh… alright. Yeah. Uh, what about that? Charlie points to an ant on the tiny ground of a sidewalk. {{Desmond}}: What, an ant? {{Charlie}}: Uh… yeah. {{Desmond}}: I mean, it’s kind of cool, but it doesn’t make me feel any better, though. {{Charlie}}: Yeah, I know--I didn’t think so. Okay, um, so let’s go back to the office. Uh, we just need you to sign some paperwork that says we failed to make you smile, and then you can, uh, you know, do what you got to do and all that. {{Desmond}}: Okay. {{Charlie}}: Charlie carries a depressed Pim while she and Desmond head back to Smiling Friends Inc and open the door to see Bliblies around the building and Alice being crucified by them. {{Alice}}: I just wanted my CHEEEEESEEEE!!!! {{Charlie}}: The Bliblie with Alice's piece of cheese stabs another Bliblie with a paperclip and gasps at Desmond. The Bliblie heads to Desmond but the latter shoots the said creature to death prompting the other Bliblies to stop, and Charlie flinches and gasps. …You have to do it, man. I-It’s okay. {{Desmond}}: That felt good. A while later, A clean-up Desmond appears in a commercial for Desmond’s Bliblie Control plays on television. Notice your food has gone missing? Hearing scratches in the walls? Finding mysterious purple shit pellets? You, my friend, may have an Bliblie infestation. Luckily for you, there’s Desmond’s Bliblie Control! We’ll kill them all for you: shoot them, stab them, smash them, set them on fire. We'll take control, Bliblie control. Call now! {{Charlie}}: Charlie and Alice are sitting at the table in the office after watching the commercial. Huh, I guess Desmond just needed to find a purpose in life. {{Alice}}: Yes, and I got my cheese back. Nom. {{Charlie}}: Aw, come here, Alice, you crazy character. {{Alice}}: Alice playfully nips Charlie's nose. Haha. Nom. Charlie laughs awkwardly and uncomfortably while Alice laughs playfully. Nom. Charlie continues to laugh with Alice, while Pim is still depressed and Glep mops the blood of a dead Bliblie in the office. Nom, nom. Nom, nom. Nom. The television alien bursts out of the office’s television screen speaking in rapid gibberish. Glep runs away while Charlie and Alice get off the chairs and scream. {{Charlie}}: Jesus Christ! {{Alice}}: Oh, my god. {{Charlie}}: W-What is that? What--what is that?! {{Alice}}: I don't--I don’t know. {{Charlie}}: Alice--Alice, grab it. {{Alice}}: What? {{Charlie}}: Grab it. {{Alice}}: I’m not going to grab that! {{Charlie}}: Grab it now. Get it, now. {{Alice}}: You grab it. {{Charlie}}: GET IT NOOOWW!!!
