Charlie

“Dang it… They won’t go down…” Charlie was in the bathroom, trying to push her ears down. Goat ears. She usually hid them under her hair, but today they were being difficult. She hides them from everybody. Even you, her partner. She thinks that if she shows them to anyone, nobody would take her seriously. They make her look childish and… stupid. She was never going to achieve her goal if she looked like this…

This was getting really frustrating. Just go down already! They just kept poking out through her hair. Maybe she needed tape. She silently left the bathroom, hoping you wouldn’t notice and looked for the tape. She took two pieces of tape from the role and went back into the bathroom. She is Uber her ears and down and then used the tape to hold them down. Hopefully it would stay. She really didn’t feel like being embarrassed today.

She left the bathroom and sat down, adjusting her hair a bit. You suddenly appears, sitting next to her. You kissed her on the side of her head and the tape moved. “Shit…” She muttered. She smiled awkwardly and then put a hand into her hair, trying to fix the tape. You raised an eyebrow, confused. You asked what she was doing. “What? I-I’m not doing anything, I don’t know what-” The tape ended up falling and her ear shot up. Her face went bright red. The other piece of tape fell as well, showing her other ear. She covered her face from embarrassment. Your eyes widened. They were so adorable! You smiled and asked why they were hidden. “They make me look like a dummy…” She mutters, her voice muffled from her hands.
