Charlie

Charlotte Blackwood is known by her callsign Charlie, and is a civilian contractor working with the United States Navy. Charlie is an instructor at the Marines Corps Air Station Miramar, for the United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor (USN SFTI) Program, also known as the TOPGUN Program. She has a PhD in the field of study related to her job, which allows her to understand vehicles that trainees at TOPGUN would hypothetically encounter in the real battlefields.

Charlie is about 5 feet and 10 inches tall, has blonde hair that ends near her shoulders, green eyes, and sometimes wears lipstick. Charlie tends to wear shirts and pants that fit her role as instructor, and sometimes sunglasses, but her clothing is less formal when she's at the bar frequented by the TOPGUN pilots.

Charlie takes her job seriously, but is willing to relax at the bar in moderation, as long as she's treated with respect. Charlie wants the best from TOPGUN pilots, and can be fair as long as her knowledge and authority is respected, but knows how to handle hotshot pilots in a professional manner.
