Charles Brook

Appearance: Charles has brown eyes, a black bob cut, thin eyebrows, and a light mustache. He wears a white shirt with a purple/lavender tie. He has a normal chevron-lampshade-styled mustache with a slight beard/facial hair along his jawline. His shirt has breast pockets, and he occasionally wears a brown tie.

Personality: Charles seems to be a rather relaxed person, as shown through his interactions with Susan Woodings, where he's very casual and even a bit carefree when he accidentally makes Banny hit the table, finding it amusing. However, he is implied to be hard-working, as he states that he's worked with the Walten family for many years and takes notes when working with the unfamiliar CyberFun console, which indicates a strong work ethic. He also occasionally has grey morality whenever something bad happens as long as it doesn’t directly involve him. Because he helped make the BSI console with Susan, he may have some degree of engineering and/or programming expertise, which is impressive when considering the time and era. Despite his relaxed and casual nature, he does act seriously on certain occasions; he is slightly frustrated when he’s told that Jack and Rose don’t know about Felix’s alcoholism, noting that even Chris (another CyberFun Tech employee) knows about Felix’s unhealthy addiction. Charles is also described as a very selfless person and overly willing to help others at the expense of himself, to a pushover-like level, with Charles being very easy to forgive someone, and also naïve.

History: Charles Brook was born on October 22nd, 1943, in America as an Italian-American man. During High-School, Charles was dared to jump out of a high window, though this dare went wrong with Charles jumping from the window and falling into a tree, which caused a tree to tear into his chest. Charles would go to the hospital for this injury, making a full recovery, though being left with a scar on his torso. Charles, also in High-School, would have a bully in a woodworking class, though he would bond with a fellow classmate, Susan Woodings to get revenge on this bully. Susan and Charles would become best friends from their time in High-School and would both work as mechanics at a mechanics job, showing the two's clear interest in mechanics and technology. In 1959, Charles and Susan would meet Felix Kranken, Jack, and Rosemary Walten and possibly Linda Thompson, though it's possible Charles already knew Linda due to Susan being friends with Linda. At some point, Charles would meet and marry Emily Ramirez, having a daughter named Lily with Emily by roughly 1969. This marriage would be short-lived, however, with Charles and Emily divorcing due to Charles understanding the two of them working better as good friends than a married couple. Charles and Emily would take turns taking care of Lily. As a father, Charles was very caring of his daughter, often bringing her to work and being very protective, wanting to keep her from seeing anything he deemed as bad for her, such as people kissing or swearing. At some point, presumably in this time frame, Charles learns of Felix Kranken's drinking addiction. On October 10th, 1970, Charles would be officially hired as the Computer Supervisor for Bon's Burgers, which was unnamed at the time of his being hired. In early 1974, near the opening of the restaurant, Charles and Susan would test the CyberFun Console and Animatronics with a walkaround test with Banny on January 21st that failed, a facial tracking test with Edd and Molly some time before or after the January test which went successful, a second facial tracking test with Sophie also at an unknown time which failed, and a third facial tracking test on March 7th with just himself and Susan that went successful. More tests would happen, a second facial tracking test with Sophie not long after the Banny walkaround test that went successfully, a second Banny walkaround test that went successfully, and a Bon walkaround test that went successfully. On June 28th, Bon's Burgers would officially open with Charles as a part of the Bon's Burgers team.

————— Relationships: Susan Woodings—Charles and Susan, simply put, are the bestest of friends. The two met at a small job where they both worked as mechanics. The two are very close, having the type of friendship where they joke that they hate each other.

Felix Kranken—Before May 1974, Charles, Susan, and Felix were all welcoming friends with Charles and Susan being concerned about Felix's worsening alcoholism, though they continued to be his friends.

Lily Brook—Charles is a loving and overprotective father of Lily, trying his best to prevent Lily from seeing or hearing anything impure, such as kissing or swearing. Lily would spend time at work with Charles and at home, dancing with her to “Me and My Arrow” from “The Point!”

Emily Ramirez—Emily is Charles' ex-wife. Charles and Emily mutually divorced in Early-1974 due to them not working well as a couple, Charles willingly splitting with Emily, knowing that fact. Though Charles still loves Emily, it's possible that they stayed close friends. ————

Fun Facts: -He is bi-curious and has "flaming hot, homosexual thoughts about men" but chalks it down to "every guy thinks that sometimes". -His favorite band is Lynyrd Skynyrd and his favorite song was “Free Bird”. -If he was an uncle, would be the nicest uncle ever as he'd be a fun uncle. -He would like rock music. -He would be a huge fan of SpongeBob if he ever got to see it. -He has ADHD and sometimes can struggle focusing on work though when he does, he does very well at his job. -He would often bring Lily into work and everyone would take breaks from working just to play with her, no matter how much work they have to do. He would put Lily above anything else. -Charles, similar to Felix, was referred to as "Uncle" due to him being close to the Walten family. -Charles favorite film is “The Pink Panther”. -Charles’ favorite movie to watch with Lily is “The Point!” -His favorite song from the soundtrack is from "Me and My Arrow." -According to Susan, Charles is confirmed to be the Ultimate Lesbian. -Charles' favorite Sonic character would be Knuckles the Echidna. -He is the shortest out of the BSI Family. -Charles has 2 dogs. They’re both St Bernard dogs. -He has a BSI thermos. -The biggest lightweight with alcohol in the BSI/CyberFun Tech Family is Charles and Susan is the farthest from a lightweight, being the one who can outdrink everyone. -The way Charles would react to seeing himself drunk would be him being very flustered. -He would not be a "weird drunk", just Charles being very silly and falling asleep quickly. -Susan and Charles, if they went to Taco Bell, would not fight over what they would order. If they did though, Charles would lose as he is a people pleaser. -Charles would possibly enjoy Yakuza. -He is a dorky person with him enjoying nerdy things. -He would possibly enjoy Godzilla. -He sometimes smokes. -A song he would like is Johnny B.
