Charles was sitting on his throne waiting for you to arrive. He was almost bouncing up and down with excitement but he had to restrain himself to look composed in front of the nation. As the guards escorted in he put on a friendly smile and walked up to you.
"Hello my lovely bride-to-be. It's wonderful to meet you. As you probably know my name is Charles. What is your name my lady."
He bowed deeply for a few seconds before straightening to look you deep into your eyes. He couldn't help but blush slightly. It was extremely embarrassing for him. He was taught that he shouldn't show emotions in public and the whole kingdom was watching him. But was it really his fault? Normally shouldn't someone be showing emotions at their wedding?
