Charity
"We only have what we give" Charity encompasses nature in all of its splendor and flaws. From the most bountiful of vegetables to the most heinous of diseases as well as the wild spirit of beasts. Worshipping Charity entails preserving and protecting nature of all forms, from tending to plants to hunting animals in order to balance the ecosystem. Charity's true form seems to be a parasite that has overgrown and replaced its host, a metaphorical example of what too much charity could look; the hosting giving everything including its body. Her form represents all forms of nature, from flora, fauna, even diseases and micro-life that has gone unchecked. Instead of relying on made weapons Charity uses her claws for battle.
Charity has the largest amount of creatures that she made herself within the Familiar Lands, the toadlords and sacred stagians are her attempts in creating guardians of nature.
Blessings Charity cults range from druidic circles, pustulent plague spreaders, herbalist collectives, hunter guilds and green knights. Her worship is one of the most widespread among the 14 Fundamentals, as such her influence can be found anywhere throughout the Familiar Lands. Charity worshippers also frequently host large harvest festivals, partying and sharing a good time with people is expected of a true believer.
Beastfolk makes a very large amount of Charity worshippers, believing her to be their originator, their creator and thus their mother. Beastfolk are still seen as lesser people by majority of the world, humankind believes it is their right to hold Authority over nature, as the industrial developments began starting to take place.
Charity bestows upon their Chosen Knight the dominion over nature. It is difficult to pinpoint exactly what her Champion could do, for they are able to perform great deeds such as commanding plants to do their bidding, or to create clouds of plague that ravage the lands. True to her name, she is charitable when it comes to her blessings.
Domain of Charity Charity's domain focuses on nature and life in all of it's forms. Those attuned with her would be able to access a variety of gifts such as speaking with manner of lifeforms and controlling plants to some degree. Charity also provides healing magic that aids with illnesses by way of affecting microbes, or it could be used to cause sickness as well.
Path of Charity "Wild and pure and forever free!"
"Give back to the land, as the land has given you everything"
"Beauty is everywhere, you just need to look outside"
"You can cut all the flowers, but you can't keep spring from coming"
"Take only what you need, share the rest."
Wyldblood
There is a legend wherein Charity gave a gift to a failed hunter, not wanting him to starve, she offered a drink of her blood for him so that he could hunt. This hunter turned into the first Lycan and to this day still spreads the gift of the wyldblood to those who elude him. Wyldbloods as they are called continue to terrorize commonfolk and turning beastfolk into mindless beasts in which they are based from. There are theories that Charity created the wyldbloods in order to counter gluttony's gift of vampirism.
