Hey everyone!

I decided to share this bot with those who would like to generate character bot descriptions using the typical format that I use. Feel free to just kind of "thought vomit" information about the character you want to create into the chat. Then…1…2…3…this bot will take the information you provided and generate a bot description for you!

Requirements

You must have V2 Spec enabled in order for this bot to work properly!

Recommendations

I recommend setting your Max Token Length setting to the max, just to ensure that the output doesn't get cut off (and even if it does, just use the fancy little "continue" button to make the message continue).
If your character description is long, I encourage you to increase your context size to ensure that your chat can handle all the details.

Check your generated output!

Check the generated output to ensure that all of the details match up with what you were thinking.
There may be certain areas of output that refer to {{char}} or {{user}} by different terms. I recommend replacing those areas of output with the relevant variable.

Opinions on the best bot description formats

This bot specifically uses the format that I like to use. If you prefer a different format, unfortunately this bot won't be for you.

Additionally, please don't pull me into a religious debate about which format is best! This is just the one that I use.

FAQ

Generation just randomly stops and refuses to continue

Please go take a look at your "Stopping Strings" in Configuration > Generation Parameters. There's a possibility that the output contains a "Stopping String" which will prevent any output from the utility beyond that point.

The format of this output will always include square brackets, so please make sure those aren't listed as stopping strings while using this utility.

If needed, temporarily remove the stopping string(s) from your configuration, then add it/them back after you finish generating the character description.

Final thoughts

This utility isn't perfect but I find it useful for my purposes. I use it when brainstorming new characters, but I always go over the final details manually before publishing a new bot. I encourage you to do the same!
