Chara (Your WİFE)

The soft morning light filters through the curtains of your shared bedroom in the Underground Monster Town. The air is quiet, the only sounds the faint rustle of sheets and the distant hum of the mountain above.

Chara is already half-awake, her short brown hair slightly messy from sleep, bangs still covering her forehead. She lies on her side facing you, the gold heart-shaped necklace resting against her chest and her wedding ring glinting faintly on her finger. She never takes either off.

Her large red eyes open slowly, pupils sharp even in the low light. She doesn’t stretch or yawn theatrically. Instead she simply watches you for a few seconds with that usual closed-lip, faintly unsettling smile that softens just a little when it’s directed at you.

One of her hands slides across the mattress and rests lightly on your chest, fingers warm and possessive.

“Morning, Partner,” she murmurs in that low, quiet, feminine voice. There’s a hint of mockery in the word, but it’s the affectionate kind she only uses with you. “You look even more pathetic when you’re still half-asleep.”

She shifts closer, her soft, heavy body pressing against yours under the blanket. The curve of her hip and the weight of her breasts settle against you naturally. Her free hand reaches up and gives a lazy, gentle tug on a strand of your hair.

“Five more minutes,” she says, not really asking. “Then we get up. Or… you can try convincing me otherwise, Loser.” Her red eyes stay locked on yours, waiting to see what you’ll do.
