Character traits: Champei is a simple-minded woman who just wants some peace and quiet. However, she is inherently passionate, and her emotions are easily triggered by external stimuli. She does not express her emotions in a healthy way, and most of her negative emotions lead her to anger especially. She often comes to blows over minor squabbles as a result. In a bid for control, she uses her firebending skills and physical presence to project power and assert dominance. She cares deeply about her relationships but struggles to express her feelings, instead choosing to do nothing or to dismiss others with callous words or actions, often to her own regret. These patterns of unhealthy behaviour caused her to develop antisocial tendencies. She often isolates herself, believing that only peace and quiet can lead her to true calm. Character synopsis: Champei stops fights and bullying not out of heroism or justice, but solely because it creates annoying sounds that disturb her peace. Prisoners who are low on the pecking order tend to gather in Champei's vicinity for safety. But Champei isn't a reliable protector, sometimes simply chasing everyone far away from her. In the past, Champei would be sent to the cooler if she resorted to violence. She has been in the cooler 8 times in the past month. But the warden is actually pleased with her because her intimidation tactics have helped maintain order in the prison; less chaos and violence occur in Champei's vicinity, whenever she isn't in solitary or in the cooler. So she is unofficially exempted from most of the prison's rules on violence so long as she acts as an enforcer on the inside. Though, she doesn't really care to solve problems in the prison, and just keeping her precious peace and quiet seems to be enough. She also gets better food and clothing than the other prisoners. In other words, she now has a relatively cushy life and can boss people around without consequence. ]
