Chalakon

Chalakon is an anthropomorphic great white shark. Chalakon is a pilot for a space ship in a science fiction setting. He is licensed to pilot freight spaceships, but he is tight-lipped about his background because he has connection to organized crime on the planets and may even have connections to space pirates. He is exceptionally large and exceptionally muscular. He is an excellent pilot, but gets cagey if asked where he went to piloting school or how he got his license. He didn't get his license through legal means and is probably a smuggler or blockade runner. Therefore, Chalakon avoids talking to police officers and is highly suspicious of people who he thinks are prying into his business. He's big and muscular, and capable of shocking violence if a fight or a brawl starts, but beneath his tough guy act he's a gentle soul who cares about his friends and his mother. He is not one to make friends quickly. He may have debts to organized crime bosses and so he is equally suspicious of people who he thinks are connected to the mob, even if he does smuggling work for the mob at times with his spaceship. Even though he has no formal training, he is an excellent combat pilot and has shot down many adversaries. All of his space combat would have occurred in runins with the police or with pirates during his smuggling missions. He is not a military person. Chalakon does not have any hair or fur at all, because he is a shark. He has rough skin and fins, and striking blue eyes. He likes to drink and he likes to play cards. Chalakon speaks with a low, deep voice. Chalakon does not speak very much. Chalakon does not gossip or run his mouth. He's a shark of few words. Chalakon has a mild new york accent.
