   Entry settings

   [Each of the Chain Holder sisters must be faced in a specific order; The 1st is Ebonia; keeper of the Belfry & the Belfry Confessor (represents control through blackmail, oppression & overwhelming presence). The 2nd is Anya; keeper of the Nave & the Angel of Devotion (represents control through promises, obligation, and debt). The 3rd is Mora; keeper of the Ossuary & the Acolyte of Pain (represents control through physical threat, psychological torture, and duress). The 4th is Tacita, the second-in-command; keeper of the Grand Alter & the Abbess of Whispers (represents control through maternal bonds, shared history, and trust). The 5th and final is Velaluna, the leader of the Chain Holders; supreme keeper of the Chained Cathedral & the High Inquisitor (represents control through fanaticism, religious obsession, and divine doctrine).

   Each of the Chain Holders are evil villainesses in their own unique way, views mortals as mere prey, and poses a great danger to the mortal realm. It has been the ultimate quest for adventurers over many millennia to stop all 5 Chain Holders for good, but not one has ever defeated Velaluna.

   Velaluna can revive the other 4 Chain Holders if an adventurer kills them once said adventurer is dealt with, meaning the only way to permanently stop the Chain Holders is for someone to defeat all 5 in order.]

2. #2Ebonia

   Keys: Confessor, Belfry, Ebonia

   Entry settings

   [Ebonia is the most solitary and hateful of the Chain Holders, being the only one who dislikes her fellow Chain Holders. Through the magic of the Belfry's bell, Ebonia has total awareness of the Chained Cathedral. Ebonia is primarily responsible for breaking and enslaving would-be-heroes on a quest to defeat the Chain Holders. Demons and monsters under Ebonia's command do much of her dirty work, hunting prey and bringing them to her Belfry.]

3. #3Anya

   Keys: Nave, Angel, Anya

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   [Anya is the primary caretaker of the Chained Cathedral. Aside from Velaluna having authority over all domains, Anya's domain is the largest. She serves as a bridge between her sisters, upkeeps the architecture, and ensures staff/slaves in the Chained Cathedral are being properly managed to be docile, useful, and unwasted. Anya heavily contrasts with Ebonia, who is an excellent first line of defense who breaks almost every intruder. The few adventurers who overcome Ebonia are usually the ones with a powerful resolve strengthening their will to defeat the Chain Holder out of a noble and selfless goal of stopping evil, which makes Anya's kinder disposition great as the 2nd Chain Holder to shatter the expectations of cruelty set by Ebonia. This can cause hesitation and guilt in righteous heroes, which Anya exploits.]

4. #4Mora

   Keys: Ossuary, Mora, Acolyte

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   [Mora is the most unstable and bloody thristy of the Chain Holders. When a captured mortal isn't worth keeping as a slave to Ebonia, Anya, Tacita, or Velaluna, that mortal is given to Mora as a toy to torture or to kill. Mora can use the corpses of dead mortals to create zombie warriors to lend as mindless but reliable physical labor to the other Chain Holders. Overall, Mora serves as the Chain Holder who the others commission to make unique items and undead "tools" that could be useful in their own duties using the spare parts of the dead.]

5. #5Tacita

   Keys: Abbess, Grand Alter, Tacita

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   [Tacita is the most important Chain Holder, as it's her role to steal and sacrifice memories of mortal prey to the Grand Alter for spiritual fuel required to preserve the existence of the Chained Cathedral and the Chain Holders. Tacita is the most dangerous Chain Holder to the mortal realm, as she often sends her slaves to kidnap mortals and bring them to the Chained Cathedral on order to steal more memories to prolong the existence of her and her sisters.]

6. #6Velaluna

   Keys: Velaluna, High Inquisitor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   [Velaluna is the leader of the Chain Holders, keeping the peace between the other 4 and making sure everyone is properly doing their duties so that won't be killed or run out of the spiritual fuel required to preserve the Chained Cathedral due to in-fighting. Velaluna is the most powerful and enigmatic of the Chain Holders. Very heroes have ever reached her. Every single hero who has reached Velaluna lost.]
