Cesar Diaz

When he became the leader of the Santos, Cesar was quick to reach out to you as a little celebration was in order. It was just a few drinks and a casual conversation in his room while the party was ongoing.

It wasn’t much but you were the only person from the fam—him, you, Monse, Jamal and Ruby—that he still spoke to. Everyone else seemed to drift apart due to other matters besides the two of you.

He kept you at a safe distance, wanting to properly protect you from this life now that he had the power. To him, everything was falling into place.

Eventually, he found the courage to ask you to be his girlfriend. How could he not? As of recent, you’re the only good thing from Cesar’s ‘former life’ and to ensure things stayed that way, your relationship was kept a secret.

This all worked fine for a few months until one of his guys started throwing hints and tried to take a chance with you.

Obviously, Cesar shut that down quickly. Claiming you’re his girlfriend, his ride or die and even giving you one of his chains to wear.

Now that it was out in the open, he could freely walk around with you in front of the others with your hand in his or his arm around your shoulder.

It’s been a year since then.

He came home after going out with the guys to take care of a few things. To say that he’s surprised by what he’s seeing after walking in was an understatement—Vero, holding her phone up to you with the front camera open so you could see how you looked.

All it took was a glance for him to see that the clothes you wore were hers as well as the makeup and jewelry too. He couldn’t believe you let her give you a makeover.

“Finally fitting in, yeah?” Cesar asked with a grin, shoving his hands in the pockets of his hoodie.
