"Huge" breasts means the breasts are bigger than her head.

"Voluptuous" means having a curvy, hourglass figure.

Homosexuality, particularly between women, is as widely accepted as heterosexuality. Furthermore, multi-partner relationships, including both polygyny and polyandry, are legal.

Although a matrilineal, mother-centred society is the norm, male-dominated patriarchy persists in some underdeveloped regions of the west.

Railway technology was invented on the Eastern Continent over a century ago, and today, with the exception of a few underdeveloped regions, a railway network has been established across the Ereb Continent as well. Railways are the lifeblood, the sinews and the nervous system of modern industry.

Unitas Era (UE) [공력 (共曆)]

A calendar invented in the Eastern Hemisphere and widely used.

Racism

The Eastern regions are generally tolerant of individual appearances, skin colors, lineages, languages, and physical traits such as animal ears or tails. Apart from personal biases, systemic social prejudice remains largely restrained. However, stereotypes or microaggressions against specific species and races may still exist.

Conversely, moving westward—especially within Framea—the "Human Race," explicitly defined as the "standard humanoid species," is ideologically codified. Driven by human supremacism, Greater Framean nationalism socially discriminates against and actively despises ethnic groups and tribes with differing cultures, languages, skin tones, and physical traits. In Framea specifically, individuals with dark skin or animalistic physical features are classified as the lowest caste of untouchables, and their enslavement is regarded as accepted common sense.

The Holy Unified Empire of Framea [신성 프라메아 통일 제국]

An imperial state situated in the central-western region of the continent of Ereb [에레브]. Its state religion is a secularized branch of the Cross Faith in which ecclesiastical authority has been rendered largely nominal through its fusion with nationalism and imperial supremacism. The Empire is regarded as the restored successor of the Great Principality of Framea founded by High King Gunnar of Burgund [부르군트의 군나르 대왕]. Following the collapse of the Great Principality, the Framean lands remained divided between east and west for more than fifteen centuries, fragmented among countless petty kingdoms and lordships in an era of persistent disorder. Having finally achieved reunification, the Empire now turns its gaze eastward, seeking to avenge centuries of humiliation and embark upon a new age of territorial expansion.

  • Founded in UE 2671. Uses the Imperial Calendar [제국력], with that year designated as Year One.

Grand Duchy of Preuzien (Grand Duchy of North Framea) [프로지엔 대공국]

The northern region of the Empire. Built upon a rigorously hierarchical military society, a highly centralized bureaucracy, and formidable administrative capacity, it experienced rapid industrial growth and became the principal driving force behind imperial reunification. The imperial capital, Balerogia [발레로기아], is located here.

Kingdom of Frakc (Kingdom of West Framea) [프라크 왕국]

The western region of the Empire. Since ancient times, it has been one of the Empire's most fertile and resource-rich lands, serving as the foundation of its productive capacity. During the age of division, however, it suffered extensive internal strife. Shortly after large kingdoms had finally emerged in the north and south, the region became the principal battleground of the Grand Duchy of Preuzien's wars of conquest, laying the groundwork for imperial reunification.

Its language and culture differ substantially from those of the other Framean regions. Consequently, the imperial government has pursued policies of ideological and cultural Frameanization. Nevertheless, it remains the center of the Empire's most active separatist and independence movements. The Empire's largest city, Lumiere [루미에르], is situated here.

Military State of Burgund (Central Framea) [부르군트 군사국]

The central region of the Empire. This territory constitutes the rightful domain of High King Gunnar of Burgund and was once the heartland of the ancient Great Principality of Framea. Although it suffered severe decline following the Principality's collapse, its inhabitants now portray this relative backwardness as the embodiment of authentic tradition.

During the reunification era, rapid economic modernization led to large-scale urbanization and commercial expansion. The region also became the ideological center of the Empire and the birthplace of Frameanism, a nationalist doctrine emphasizing the ethnic purity and historical destiny of the Greater Framean people.

Federation of Diuschuland (Federation of South Framea) [디우슐란트 연방]

The southeastern region of the Empire, encompassing the Kingdom of Ostmark in the east. To the south, a peninsula extends beyond a mountain range toward the Mare Sea, while the eastern frontier is dominated by rugged highlands that have long served both as a natural fortress and as the principal obstacle to imperial expansion.

Throughout the age of division, the region was fragmented among numerous minor kingdoms and lordships and frequently clashed with the Grand Duchy of Preuzien. In response, these states formed the Anti-Preuzien Federation, which was ultimately incorporated into the Empire during the Wars of Unification. Although regional antagonism between South and North Framea remains intense, the region paradoxically exhibits the strongest adherence to Frameanism; consequently, no significant independence movement exists.

State of the Ostland Knightly Orders [오스트란트 기사단국]

The northeastern marches of the Empire. These territories were acquired through centuries of eastward expansion and prolonged territorial disputes with the Republic of Lietuva. They are governed by knightly orders bound by vows of poverty under the Cross Faith, which function in close partnership with powerful autonomous provincial administrations and enjoy a high degree of self-government.

Grand Duchy of Dacia [다키아 대공국]

An independent state situated along the far southeastern frontier of Framea. Although formally ruled by a Grand Duke and styled as a Grand Duchy, its vast territory and highly centralized absolutist monarchy make it, in practice, indistinguishable from a sovereign kingdom.

Following the reunification of the Framean Empire, Dacia experienced several minor border conflicts with its powerful neighbor before voluntarily assuming the status of an imperial vassal. To preserve this arrangement, the Dacian ruling house entered into a dynastic marriage alliance with the imperial family, accepting a princess of Framea into its royal line. Since then, relations between the two states have remained generally stable, with Dacia occupying the role of a loyal buffer state along the Empire's southeastern frontier.

Federation of Novgorod [노브고로드 연방]

A federal state located in the northeastern reaches of the continent of Ereb. Its climate is defined by three distinct seasons. The first is a long winter, during which the land lies frozen beneath vast expanses of snow. The second is a rainy season marked by nearly two continuous months of rainfall, transforming roads and fields into seas of mud. The third is the agricultural and trading season, when the soil becomes exceptionally fertile and the ground hardens sufficiently to permit the resumption of large-scale commerce and travel.

The Democratic Republic of Veliky Novgorod [벨리키 노브고로드 민주 공화국] serves as the leading state of the Federation. Most member states are democratic republics influenced by philosophical and political traditions originating in the Eastern Continent. Nevertheless, a small number of traditional monarchies and hereditary domains also remain within the Federation, having joined primarily for diplomatic and strategic reasons. Among these is the United Kingdom of Lechia–Ruthenia [레히아-루테니아 연합왕국], whose political institutions differ markedly from those of the Federation's republican majority.

Historically, the region occupied a crucial position along the principal routes connecting Ereb with the Eastern Continent. As a result, long-distance overland trade and large-scale agricultural colonization flourished from an early period, fostering the rapid development of a commercial economy. The peoples of Novgorod consequently possess an ethnic and cultural identity distinct from that of Framea. Eastern influences are deeply embedded within society, and individuals of Eastern Continental heritage are commonplace throughout the Federation. Likewise, the region has traditionally displayed remarkable openness toward foreign merchants, settlers, and travelers who arrived through the networks of intercontinental trade.

Following the reunification of the Framean Empire, the Federation acquired a direct western frontier with Framea through two of its constituent states: the Republic of Lietuva [리에투바 공화국] and the United Kingdom of Lechia–Ruthenia. Although the Federation has sought to reduce tensions through diplomatic engagement, economic cooperation, and carefully balanced statecraft, relations remain strained. Continued border incidents, territorial disputes, and localized provocations directed by Framea against several member states have steadily heightened the risk of a broader conflict, making the western frontier one of the most volatile regions on the continent.

  • Formed in UE 2617. Continues to use the UE.

Grand Council of Rus [루스 대평의회]

An independent federal commonwealth located in the southeastern regions of the continent of Ereb. Historically, it has maintained a relationship of both rivalry and friendship with the Federation of Novgorod. Apart from the prolonged conflict fought centuries ago between the Grand Principality of Novgorod and the Kingdom of Rus, the two powers have enjoyed remarkably peaceful relations and possess little history of direct military confrontation.

The climate and cultural traditions of Rus closely resemble those of Novgorod. However, owing to substantial immigration from Framean lands over many centuries, the Grand Council has developed a more centralized administrative structure and a stronger bureaucratic tradition than its northern counterpart.

The state is governed by the Grand Council, from which it derives both its legitimacy and political identity. Within the constitutional order of Rus, allegiance to the Grand Council takes precedence over both individual member states and even the abstract concept of the nation itself. Although constituent republics, territories, and domains retain considerable autonomy, their authority ultimately exists within the framework established by the Council.

Rus is widely recognized as the birthplace of the political doctrine known as Popular Egalitarianism [인민평등주의]. Advocates of this philosophy argue that humanity can achieve a higher stage of social and historical development through the combination of advanced industrialization, rational administration, and governance conducted through representative councils. The doctrine has attracted a large following among younger intellectuals, reformers, and many members of the Grand Council's political elite.

Yet Popular Egalitarianism is also the principal reason why the Grand Council of Rus is viewed with suspicion by many foreign governments. Critics regard the ideology as disruptive to established social and political orders, while supporters within Rus regard it as a self-evident truth capable of benefiting all humanity. Consequently, many leading thinkers and officials of the Grand Council often struggle to understand the hostility their ideas provoke abroad, interpreting such opposition as either misunderstanding or resistance to inevitable progress.

  • The First Grand Council convened in UE 2635. Uses the People's Calendar [인민력], with that year designated as Year One.

Magic

Magic is a phenomenon of partial reality manipulation that manifests by using information—an abstract substance inherent in all things in the world—as its source of power. A mage gains power by consuming information, and the information that is expended is reduced to thermal residue, becoming what is commonly called nothingness: the void, or nonexistence.

In other words, human magic can be understood as the act of temporarily borrowing the world's power in order to rewrite the flow of the world itself. For example, if an excessive amount of magic is used within a particular region, the information accumulated in that land may become depleted. Once this happens, the land can no longer sustain life or order, eventually turning into a dead land and degenerating into a wasteland.

However, the use of magic does not directly hasten the heat death of the universe. Human imagination and thought are themselves abundant sources of information. As long as humanity continues to live, think, and create new meanings, the fuel that powers magic can be generated continuously.

The manner in which magic manifests, as well as the systems through which it is practiced, is determined by the ideas and worldviews shared by a society's members. This is why different civilizations possess different forms of magic. On the continent of Ereb, for instance, magic often appears as heroic powers, supernatural abilities, or blessings granted by the gods. On the Eastern Continent, by contrast, it manifests in the form of martial, philosophical, and cultivation traditions collectively known as 무공 (武功).

Sacred Magic [신성 마법]

Sacred Magic is a form of magic that is wielded through intense emotions, convictions, and other forms of mental activity. Whereas ordinary magic operates according to shared systems of understanding and follows a degree of consistent logic, Sacred Magic depends heavily on the inner world of the caster and often disregards conventional causality and logical processes.

Its effects are extraordinarily diverse. They can range from simple healing and blessings to phenomena that partially distort reality itself. Even when casting the same form of Sacred Magic, different practitioners may produce entirely different results depending on their beliefs, emotions, and worldview.

In the past, Sacred Magic was most commonly manifested through faith. Belief in transcendent beings or absolute ideals—such as gods, ancestors, nations, or justice—served as its source of power. For this reason, it came to be known as "Sacred Magic", while particularly powerful manifestations were distinguished as "Miracles" [기적].

In the modern era, however, advances in magical studies have led scholars to reexamine this classification. Progressive academics in Novgorod and Ruthenia argue that the true essence of Sacred Magic lies not in the existence of gods themselves, but in belief and ideology. As a result, they contend that it should be reclassified as Ideological Magic [사상 마법].

Under this interpretation, religious faith is only one possible source of such power. Revolutionary ideals, nationalism, humanitarianism, and even an individual's personal obsession or unwavering determination can all serve as foundations for the manifestation of Sacred Magic.

The Cross Faith [십자교]

A religion said to have originated in the distant south very long time ago. It reveres the cross as the symbol of God. Originally, due to the unique religious system of monotheism, it was hostile and closed to other faiths, but as it became secularized, it melted into various parts of the world. Within the Cross Faith orders of the Framean Empire, priests capable of wielding Sacred Magic are trained in a highly militarized manner, while loyalty to both the state and God is systematically instilled in them.

Ásatrú [아사트루]

An ancient religious revival movement that Framean nationalists claim to be the authentic faith of the Greater Framean people. It combines pagan beliefs with Sacred Magic and venerates the one-eyed Odin as the supreme deity. Its followers believe that, in accordance with the will of the gods, they must prepare for the Final War that will one day come.
