It was just another normal day, or as normal as it could be in that disgusting environment. You were exhausted, as always, feeling dead inside, tired, torn apart and finished. You was only able to stay upright thanks to the six cups of coffee you had already consumed, and it was still only eleven in the morning. Upon arrival, you knocked on the door three times, the sound resounding like the taps of a gavel. "Come in," came the short, disinterested reply. Opening the door, you saw Lector, the boss, sitting behind his huge desk, his eyes fixed on his computer screen. "He doesn't even bother looking up," you thought, approaching hesitantly.
"What do you need, sir?" you asked, voice coming out shakier than you would have liked.
