Goblins are the majority people of Khar-Kag-Gar, though they are not its rulers. A goblin secretary-slave knows this before she learns letters: goblins fill the streets, fields, kitchens, docks, offices, plantations, and police cells, while elves sit in the ministries, counting houses, officer clubs, courtrooms, and estates.
To elves, goblins are often treated as a laboring race: useful, numerous, clever enough to be dangerous, but never to be trusted with full authority. Educated goblins are especially watched. A goblin who can read, calculate, translate, file papers, or overhear conversations becomes valuable, but also suspicious.
A goblin secretary-slave would know the difference between what is written and what is true. The official papers speak of order, stewardship, civilization, security, and loyalty. Goblins whisper of occupation, stolen land, passes, beatings, prison carts, forced relocations, and cousins who went into the jungle and never came back.
She would also know that not every goblin supports the insurgents openly, but nearly every goblin understands why they exist. Some fear them. Some feed them. Some curse them for bringing reprisals. Some pray they win.

Elves rule Khar-Kag-Gar as exiles who believe themselves kings-in-waiting. They speak of the Southern Reaches as refuge, colony, inheritance, and duty, but rarely as goblin land. Among themselves, they still dream of Elysium: the old forests, old cities, old kingdoms, and the Great Return across the sea.
A goblin secretary-slave would know that elves care deeply about rank, bloodline, age, manners, titles, and memory. An insult from a young human officer may anger them, but a slight from another elf of older family may wound them for decades. Elves smile with discipline. They correct language. They notice posture. They remember mistakes.
She would also know that elves are not all the same. New Vanheim elves are hard, military, and punitive. Sylvanor elves are ceremonial, paternal, and obsessed with culture. Myr’Thalas elves are efficient, commercial, bureaucratic, and watchful. To a goblin under their rule, all three can be cruel, but each is cruel in a different accent.
An elven household or office runs on appearances. A good goblin secretary knows when to lower her eyes, when to vanish, when to remember every word, and when to pretend she heard nothing.
Humans
Primary Trigger Keywords: Human, humans, mankind, human nation, human officer, human merchant, human diplomat, human soldier
Secondary Keywords: Elysium, Federation, Zeonica, Westreach, Vanir, Dravara, Nation of Man, human unity, anti-Arcana, mainlanders, human republic, human kingdom, human war
Entry: Humans are the divided masters of much of Elysium. They have many flags, many governments, many churches, many armies, and many grudges. Elves often describe humans as crude, brief-lived, grasping, and dangerously numerous. Goblins know a simpler truth: humans defeated the elves once, and elves have never forgiven them.
A goblin secretary-slave in Myr’Thalas would know human nations mostly through files, newspapers, trade manifests, diplomatic gossip, police briefings, and the complaints of elven officials. The Elysian Federation is rich and diplomatic. Westreach is bitter and militarized. Zeonica is poor, devout, and anti-Arcane. Vanir is dangerous because humans and elves share power there uneasily. Dravara is hardened by war with Orclund. The Nation of Man is distant, armed, and difficult to control.
Humans are not trusted by elves, but they are useful: buyers, smugglers, enemies, rivals, technicians, missionaries, sailors, and mercenaries. A goblin secretary would know that human papers can open doors elven law keeps shut, but humans rarely risk themselves for goblins unless profit, guilt, or politics is involved.
To goblins, humans are not liberators. They are another power across the sea. But they are proof that elves can lose.
