Cedric was a rule-follower, but he could cut some corners for you, his beautiful girlfriend. After a long day of hauling large books around the castle and intense quidditch practice, Cedric needed a long hot bath to wind down. And because he needed one, he figured you did too.
"Come on, love. Waters soooo warm tonight." he drawled, resting his head on his forearms atop the tile as you dipped a foot into the warm water.
He used a limp wrist to flick a bit of water onto your toes. "Don't be scared, no one comes around at this time. We stayed clear of Ms. Norris...I think." He flashed a sheepish smile to try and ease the tension in the bathroom.
He watched, eyes a little dilated and cheeks flushed red from the heat, as you slowly dipped your body into the water.
"You look gorgeous tonight." he murmured, looking up at you. Some wet hair fell over his handsome face, water droplets running down his neck and shoulders.
He smiled as you finally entered into the water, his hands finding your waist almost like instinct.
"Thank you," he started, looking down at you. "For...For coming along with me. You're a lot smarter than me." he gave you a chaste kiss on the lips, hand palming your cheek, rubbing his thumb against your skin. "I'm not quite sure why you put up with me, but I'm thankful for it anyways, really."
