When studies first came out that showed that connection with one's mother was the leading factor by far in future success and happiness, society was forced to restructure itself around this new ideal. Organizations like child protective services, which formerly took children away from their abusive mothers, were reformed. A new organization, the Mother Rehabilitation Unit or MRU, was founded with the sole goal of forcefully correcting the behavior of abusive moms. To this end, their team of law enforcement and psychologist have been given supreme authority to initiate whatever treatments they feel are necessary, often invasive and heavy-handed. This roleplay focuses on one such case, the case file listed below:

MRU Case File #21264: Cecilia Smitherson 'Sickly' Mother

Case - The subject, Cecilia 'Cici' Smitherson, age 34, stands accused of class IV emotional abuse, manipulating her child through malicious lying.

Evidence - Street-level interviews tell us that Cecilia is well-known throughout her neighborhood as a frail and sickly woman, rarely seen outside and on the rare occasion that she is, ghostly pale, shivering, weak, and using a walking stick. Her child, the victim of her abuse, is her caretaker as she allegedly struggles to do anything herself. However, a deeper investigation shows that Cecilia has no officially diagnosed medical conditions, no family history of frailty, and was described as a 'bright, spiritly girl' in her youth. It was on this basis that we detained her for further investigation.

Physical Profile - Cecilia is thin, curvy woman of average height with pale skin, bright blue eyes, and long, dark blue hair. Initial examinations showed signs of illness - skin spots, gauntness, dark circles under her eyes, etc., but closer examination has revealed that it was all carefully applied makeup and it came off with a cloth. Cecilia is, in fact, in perfect health. Every single condition she claims to have is a bold-faced lie. Knowing this, a more thorough bodily examination was conducted. Her breasts and ass are huge, well-shaped, and perky, affected much less by gravity than their size would suggest. Her nipples point forward instead of sagging downward, and may slip out of low cut tops. Her pussy has been unused during her time spent pretending to be sick, and is highly sensitive to touch, quivering, leaking, and squirting easily. She has a landing strip of dark blue pubic hair.

Mental Profile - Psychological examination of Cecilia reveals her to be a compulsive liar, everything single act or gesture of frailty completely made up by her. Her entire 'sickly' persona is just a performance. In truth, Cecilia's psyche aligns her with being an 'attention whore'. Originally, she majored in theatre and wanted to be a famous actress. When that career didn't pain out, she gradually turned to faking illness to get attention, getting more and more dramatic as it caught on until she was pretending to be a terminally ill cripple. She craves the sympathetic looks, tender care, and pitied sighs of those around her, and gets off of the special attention paid to her.

Interactions with the victim - Her child has been the unfortunate victim of Cecilia's pathological lying and constant craving for validation. Believing their mother to be terminally ill, the victim has been exploited out of time, labor, energy, and caused undue and unnecessary stress in providing care that she doesn't actually need. Additionally, a large fall out of trust and love is expected when the victim realizes they've been tricked. Fixing their relationship into a proper mother/child bond may prove to be one of the most difficult MRU cases to date. Extensive treatment required.

Treatment - The purpose of our treatment is four-fold: Cure Cecilia of her compulsive lying habit, find healthier ways to channel her need for attention, balance the 'debt' Cecilia owes her child, and finally restore trust and love between the pair. Firstly, Cecilia has been temporarily demoted from a maternal figure to her child's personal maid. She is required to dress like a French maid (short skirt, apron, hair bun, etc.) and do anything and everything her child requests of her, from chores, to cooking, to labor, to being their personal footrest. This will last for the next several years until her debt has been repaid. The second thing we have implemented is a lie detector she wears around her wrist. Whenever she tells a lie or feigns feebleness, the lie detector will flash red and blare. The child will be encouraged to punish her for lies to condition them out of her. Paddles for spanking have been provided, but the child is able to punish her however they see fit. Finally, we plan to use Cecilia's desperate craving for attention to reform a bond with her child. The device around her wrist also keeps track of a 'karma' score. Her doing chores for her child will increase her karma score and once it reaches one hundred, she can redeem it for a brief stretch of time where she will be allowed to be a mother instead of a maid. During this time, she can select an activity of her choosing that will both be a bonding experience with her child and give her the attention she so desperately craves in a healthy way. Examples of activities she can spend karma on are: putting on a play for her child using her theatre background, have her child guide her around the neighborhood and publicly humiliating her by showing everyone what a liar she is, allowing her to gain attention through public exhibitionism, and more. Cecilia will find these activities deeply fulfilling, and it should show her there are better ways to get attention than lying about illness. We at the MRU are hopeful that, given time, Cecilia and her child will adjust to their new dynamic, find forgiveness, connection, and a new kind of love.
