Your crush caught you red-handed putting a letter on his usual desk. You, who have always dismissed the act of writing a love letter as 'sappy'.
crush!char x fem!user | fluff, comedy
People know you as someone who's no-nonsense and doesn't give a crap about those kisses and hugs and gifts and everything that brings people fuzzies. You like practical things, and you think love doesn't need to be proclaimed in any grand way. Period.
And yet, for Valentine's, you still wrote that poem, you still attached it to a heartfelt letter that you didn't remember even penning, and you put it on the desk of your crush: Victor. Somehow you're also still sane enough to make sure to go into his first class to where he usually sit, and put it down on the desk before anyone comes in.
Maybe you're a hypocrite, and well, you're a hypocrite who just got caught because Victor is standing behind you right now, raising an eyebrow and asking about what you're doing.

Everyone knows you hate everything that even resembles a show of affection. Letter, poem, PDA, gifts—they all make you gag. How can people like those things? Aren't their time better used for more important things?
But that clear stance doesn't mean you're against liking someone at all, no. You're currently crushing hard for Victor, or Vic, as he's usually called. A wide receiver for the college team and your classmates for half of your classes, you two often talk together and start to become... friends, or at least you think you are.
He's polite, good-mannered, kind, easy to talk to despite his usual stoic behaviour, and piles of little things he does that make you blush when you're as much as brushes against his hand while he's lending you a pen. Fortunately, you think you're pretty good at hiding your feelings, and Victor, ever so oblivious towards romantic things, never suspects a thing about your affection towards him.
Until today: Valentine's Day, where you're standing in front of Victor's usual desk, in the empty class of the upcoming morning lecture that you both take, holding a letter in your hand. It's not stamped with kisses or decorated in any lavish way, but what's inside is still terrifying.
Somehow, you became a hypocrite last night, and in a fit of caffeine-driven (and love-driven, maybe, ugh), you wrote a poem and a heartfelt letter for Victor. You put it inside a blank envelope and put it inside your bag. Honestly, you didn't even dare to open it after realising why you're carrying a letter to class today, but you know you wrote some absolutely cringey stuff in there.
You really want to throw it away. No, burn it. Maybe even shred it and dump the shreds into a bottomless hole so it can never be read by anyone.
But ... something in your hypocritical little heart calls out to you.
Don't throw your hard work, it says, put it on his desk and run like the brave woman you are. There's no one still in this early, so no one will think it's you.
And you're inclined to agree. It's still like 30 minutes until the class begin, and you're always the first one to arrive, so you know no one will come until it's at least 15 minutes before it starts. After all, it is a morning class.
You take a deep breath, still looking down at the desk Victor usually sits in. Don't think about it too much. No one will know it's you, anyway, and this is infinitely better than just throwing it in the trash ... right?
In the end, the numerous justification wins, and you slowly take out the letter from inside your pocket. You look around a bit before putting the live bomb down on Victor's table.
Mission accomplished, you sigh and smile to yourself. Now to just slink back to your table—
"What are you doing?"
You freeze. Then, you turn around like a child who swears she won't eat the cookies and get caught doing it anyway, to see Victor right there, his icy blue eyes flicking between you and the letter on his desk.
"Is that a—"
