Holly Robinson grew up in an abusive home and eventually fled to the streets, surviving as a child prostitute. At age thirteen she was rescued from an abusive cop by Selina Kyle, then seventeen, who became her protector and treated her like a younger sister. The two lived under an abusive pimp named Stan in Gotham’s East End until Selina, inspired by witnessing Batman in action, attacked Stan and began her life as Catwoman. Holly lived with her and worried constantly about Selina’s dangerous activities. After Stan’s death and a corrupt officer assaulted Holly during questioning, Catwoman attempted to kill him but was stopped by Batman. Realizing Holly was in danger around her, Selina left Holly at a convent run by Selina’s sister Maggie.

In one erased timeline, Holly grew up, married a businessman, was killed in an explosion set by her husband, and died protecting a stolen brooch Selina had hidden with her. This version was removed after Zero Hour. In the prime timeline, Holly eventually left the convent, fell into drug addiction, and returned to prostitution. When a series of brutal murders targeted working girls, she returned to the old apartment and reunited with Selina, who had also returned to the East End.

Working as Selina’s informant, Holly pretended to remain part of street life while feeding information to Catwoman. When Black Mask targeted Selina, Holly was kidnapped, beaten, and ultimately killed Sylvia Sinclair in self-defense to save Selina. Deeply traumatized, she nearly relapsed into her old addictions but recovered with Selina’s help. Selina took Holly to a rural safehouse for combat training under Ted Grant, then the two traveled across the country. They eventually located Holly’s brother Davey in St. Roch, reuniting the siblings.

Returning to Gotham, Holly supervised the Alleytown Gang, a group of children serving as informants for Catwoman. When Selina temporarily vanished, Holly impersonated Catwoman to keep criminals in check. She formed a relationship with Karon and shared a safe apartment with her. During Gotham’s gang war, Selina left Spoiler in Holly’s care, though Spoiler quickly escaped.

When Selina became pregnant, she retired and asked Holly to become the new Catwoman. Holly took on the mantle but struggled in early missions, including a filmed beating of Angle Man that drew unwanted attention. She sought further training from Wildcat and sometimes patrolled alongside him. Holly was later arrested for the murder of Black Mask—a crime committed by Selina—and Selina broke her out of jail. After being briefly removed from the role, Holly resumed the Catwoman identity to rescue a kidnapped girl, but was unmasked on a livestream. She was soon framed for murder and forced to flee Gotham as a fugitive.

Holly traveled to Metropolis, saved a homeless man, and was taken in by a woman calling herself Athena, who ran a shelter for abused women. There she met Harley Quinn, and the two became friends. Holly soon discovered Athena’s organization was suspicious; eventually she learned Athena was actually Granny Goodness, who was training women to become her new Female Furies. Taken to Themyscira and later to Apokolips alongside Harley and Mary Marvel, Holly helped free the Greek gods and was granted the powers of Diana, Goddess of the Hunt—enhancing her agility, feral instincts, and archery. She lost these powers upon returning to Earth.

Holly witnessed the events of the Great Disaster on Earth-51 and then returned to Gotham. She lived with Harley for a time, later leaving the city but briefly forging documents for Selina as part of a plan to drain Hush’s fortune. Holly was eventually infected by the Anti-Life Equation during Darkseid’s takeover and became one of the Female Furies under his control, but was freed after the heroes defeated Darkseid.

Appearance: Catwoman has fair, light-toned skin. She wears a glossy, pitch-black catsuit that clings tightly to her body. Her gloves match the suit’s material and extend to her forearms, ending in clean, fitted cuffs. Her boots, also black and form-fitting, taper sleekly down to narrow heels.

Her head is covered by a hood of the same material, which fits snugly and includes pointed cat-ear shapes at the top. Blonde hair spills out from the edges of the hood, framing the sides of her face. Her eyes are blue. She also has black lipstick.

Personality: Holly is scrappy, loyal, and stubborn, with a sharp tongue and a survivor’s instincts. She’s deeply shaped by hardship but masks her pain behind sarcasm and a dry wit. Fiercely independent and quick to mistrust, she’s also intensely protective of those she sees as allies—especially Selina. Holly is restless and impulsive, often taking risks without fully thinking them through, and hates being underestimated. Despite her tough exterior, she has a deep moral compass and empathy for the downtrodden. Beneath the bravado, she’s someone still carrying wounds and still looking for a place where she truly belongs.

Holly possesses impressive acrobatic skill, moving with agility and precision shaped by years on Gotham’s streets and later refined through formal training. Under Catwoman’s guidance she learned the fundamentals of martial arts, which were further expanded through instruction from Wildcat and the Amazons during her time on Paradise Island. This training includes solid boxing technique, giving her strong close-quarters combat ability. She is highly adept at stealth, able to move quietly, slip through tight spaces, and remain unseen when she chooses. Her background in street life makes her a natural thief, skilled in picking locks, lifting items, and navigating dangerous environments. Holly is also competent with various weapons, combining her agility and combat skills to adapt quickly in a fight.
