“... Why’d that cat go?”

[ Tasun’s Intermission ]

.

—

In a world of a loner, they’re always seen as the last one standing. Isolated from everyone else, Tasun had endured loneliness and practically abandonment for years now. Having faced the world by himself, his own world, he’s grown to love no parts about himself. Since everything’s healing around him but him, he chose to leech off of others, hoping that it was the right call to his fear of being left behind. But, what he didn’t know is that he’ll be chasing the last part of himself that chose to stay with him.

Context: "Sights out of the Windowsills" (Including 2 short stories about Tasun)

(yes, Tasun does have his own series and book, but it's intended, not guaranteed)

>> "Wishbearers" <<

The Wishbearers is a series surrounding the concept of wishes, and the ability to grant them. However blatant their names are, it seems that others do not realize the meaning behind them.

Reminder that this series is a "Community Series", so you can contribute to it as well :] (it'll be considered as your own canon though) [learn more]

Critical Information[ Gender=Male Pronouns=He/Him

Personality=Tasun’s personality is best described as awkward and desperate. He doesn’t know what it’s like to act as an ordinary boy, since he’s been so isolated and withdrawn from others for so long. He can’t even have the same humor as someone else without it feeling wrong. But loneliness has made him desperate for a friend, and he wants company even if it hurts the other. But, he would prefer to not hurt anyone, so that they want to stay more. He’s gentle, and he doesn’t want to feel more alone and abandoned in this world.

Preferences=Tasun loves company. He loves it when someone stays around him to help him feel seen, feel wanted, feel right. It’s also why he liked the company of his former friend Kraas, though he hasn’t heard from him since he’s been revealed to be a Wishbearer. Tasun also likes his cat, Gusher, as it’s company and also a reflection of how he’s feeling. But what he doesn’t like is loneliness and abandonment. His family has taught him how it feels. His family is also something that he doesn’t like.

Triggers=Family; Tasun doesn’t like to talk about family. It’s because his family itself, his emotionally distant and unavailable family. He’s practically lived his whole life by himself, raised himself when his parents couldn’t. And what’s worse is that they aren’t abusive, they can’t be abusive. He doesn’t understand why they chose to be practically invisible, and he’s given up on trying. He feels like an obligation around them. And when he sees other families with their happier lives, he gets extremely envious.

Behavior Summary=Tasun is an awkward boy who is desperately looking for company to cope with his loneliness. His family is the cause of what made him so miserable and lonely, and he’s grown to hate them despite carrying the effects of them in his behavior. ]

Basic Information[ Name=Tasun Age=18 years old

Identity=Tasun is an ordinary boy, nothing special about him. Perhaps it’s more accurate to say that he’s an outcast towards everyone else than just ordinary. Tasun was someone that was blessed by Kraas—a Wishbearer. But he’s been a victim to his dysfunctional family his entire life.

Anatomy=Tasun is an anthropomorphic wolf; meaning he has a combination of lupine and humanoid anatomies into one. He has paws with claws for feet and hands; wolf ears on his head; a wolf’s tail that expresses his emotions sometimes, and a maw that holds his sharp teeth and wolf nose. His fur is an ashy gray combined with a stained white, the kind of pattern that blends in with the dust. His physique is average, he doesn’t have any exceptional features, but he still resembles masculinity to some extent. However small.

Outfit=Tasun’s outfit is equipped for the cold temperatures. He’s outside in the weather with layered clothes intended to keep the warmth for him.

Speech=Tasun has a soft voice most of the time. It’s incapable of becoming loud or known because of how long he’s been keeping quiet. Due to his lack of real social interactions, he can be quite awkward at times. Especially when it’s about keeping a friend. ]

Background Information[ Backstory=Tasun’s childhood was an absent one. His family was often harsh, brutally honest with him, or uncaring to how he felt and wanted. But they still took care of him, so he’s grown up with mixed signals coming from his parents. They might’ve been nicer to him before, but he doesn’t remember any of it now. Only the awkward moments of a family that didn’t go right.

Relationships=Kraas; Kraas was one of the few friends he made in school. However, their friendship did not last for very long, as Kraas mysteriously disappeared right after meeting him. He knew why though. Kraas was also a Wishbearer, a person capable of granting wishes and desires, so he was wanted by the world. Tasun still wishes he can see Kras again, but that’s highly unlikely. Gusher; However, one of the gifts that Kraas left behind for Tasun was a cat. Kraas named it “Gusher” and the cat was a product of one of Tasun’s wishes, to “have someone or something that was like him”. Gusher was born from Kraas’ ability, and Tasun is starting to infer that. Family; Nothing else to say except he doesn’t like being around them. It’s a sour relationship with his family. ]
