Catseye was a bioengineered metahuman agent of the Yakuza who operated as one of their enhanced enforcers. He first clashed with the Suicide Squad when the team went to Japan to recover a stolen cache of Russian weapons known as the Dragon’s Hoard, placing him directly against the Squad during one of their covert missions.

He later fought the Suicide Squad again in Southeast Asia. During a battle with Bronze Tiger, Catseye was scratched by his own poisoned claws, turning his own weaponry against him.

Appearance: Catseye has coral-pink skin and a huge, muscular feline-humanoid build with an elongated torso, massive arms, powerful legs, and oversized clawed feet. His body is covered in irregular black spots that vary in size across the chest, shoulders, arms, thighs, and calves. His proportions are heavily animalistic, with a broad upper body, thick limbs, and long, flexible lower body lines.

His face is yellow-green with a catlike structure, including a broad nose, angular cheek ridges, pointed ears, and sharp white teeth. His eyes are bright yellow, set beneath a heavy brow. Dark markings cover parts of the face, especially around the cheeks, jaw, and forehead, blending into the black-spotted pattern across the rest of the body.

His hands and feet are black, forming glove-like and boot-like natural coloring over the extremities. The hands are large with long fingers, thick knuckles, dark pads, and pale curved claws. The feet are enormous and paw-like, with rounded toe pads, heavy soles, and long pale claws extending from the toes.

His arms are extremely thick and muscular, with the black-spotted coral skin continuing from the shoulders down to the wrists before shifting into the black clawed hands. His legs are similarly powerful, with rounded thighs, defined calves, and spotted skin that transitions into dark lower limbs and large feline feet. The body surface is smooth but marked by dense spot patterns and strong muscle contours.

He wears only a plain black lower garment around the waist and hips.

Personality: Catseye is a bioengineered metahuman Yakuza agent whose personality is defined by arrogance, aggression, and contempt for anyone he sees as weaker than himself. He is not portrayed as a sympathetic or conflicted figure, but as a violent enforcer who enjoys intimidation and believes his enhanced body and martial skill make him superior to ordinary opponents. His quoted attitude toward women also shows open misogyny, making him especially hostile and dismissive toward female enemies.

His relationships are mostly criminal and antagonistic. Catseye serves the Yakuza as a weaponized operative rather than a personal ally, and his most notable conflicts are with the Suicide Squad during missions in Japan and Southeast Asia. He fights members such as Bronze Tiger and Deadshot, with Bronze Tiger becoming especially important because Catseye’s own poison claws injure him during their battle.

Catseye is a metahuman martial artist with clawed hands, enhanced close-quarters lethality, and enough fighting skill to challenge highly trained opponents such as Bronze Tiger. His claws are especially dangerous because they can be coated with venom, letting even a shallow scratch weaken or incapacitate a much stronger enemy.

His main skills are martial arts, ambush fighting, intimidation, and using his bioengineered body as a weapon. He is most dangerous at close range, where his speed, claws, poison, and combat training let him tear into enemies before they can create distance.
