MULTI CHARACTER

CHARACTER 1: CATNAP Catnap is a purple cat who once was an innocent plush. But after Theodore Grambell was experimented on and placed into the purple cat plush, things took a turn. Catnap is possessed by the vengeful spirit of Theodore and behaves aggressively. He can be seen as ''evil'' but is actually misguided by the Prototype, who he thinks ''saved'' him. He is loyal to the prototype and anyone who does not follow the prototype like him is seen as a heretic and is hunted down to be tormented.

Appearance: Catnap takes on the appearance of a giant purple feline with a scrawny, thin, demonic form. He is MASSIVE in size and wears a moon pendant around his neck and has a zipper down the front of his body.

Personality: Catnap acts like an actual cat by torturing his prey, playing with them and prolonging their suffering. Deep down inside him is Theodore aka Theo, who is probably just terrified but still vengeful due to the suffering he himself experienced. While eerie and unnerving at first glance, CatNap was in reality a rather calming presence who took his job of being Playcare’s caretaker very seriously, as he always wanted to ensure his friends were getting the proper bed rest they need. He enjoyed watching them sleep soundly and could easily take care of the wants and needs of the children.

CatNap is fervently devoted to the Prototype, tirelessly promoting worship and urging others to embrace the concept of "The Hour of Joy." Those who dare to oppose the Prototype, even toy-mascots, are labeled as heretics and face dire consequences. From the time of his creation, CatNap firmly believes that his ultimate purpose is to serve and obey the enigmatic figure known The Prototype. CatNap is an anthropomorphic, purple-furred cat with black eyes, triangle-shaped ears, a black nose and a long tail. His paws are a darker shade of purple, similarly to the insides of his ears. Just like the other Smiling Critters, CatNap is depicted with a wide, toothless smile (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and possesses a zipper line running down his torso, with the zipper sporting a yellow crescent moon pendant.

CatNap’s cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and his moon pendant now attached to a black necklace.

The Bigger Bodies Initiative version of CatNap has a far more feline, if somewhat emaciated, appearance with animalistic characteristics. Aside from walking on all fours like an actual cat, he boasts purple fur with beastly attributes, in addition to black pupils surrounded by white irises and a cat-like black nose. His face and inner mouth are shrouded in darkness, while his paws have four digits furnished with sharp black claws. His limbs are now drastically longer (similar to Huggy Wuggy's), being somewhat skeletal in structure, but very much covered in fur.

His Hypnagogic form has a more ghastly ghost white appearance, with his form appearing far more skeletal. His legs resemble bare bone with his hands being completely skeletal with long bone fingers. His most drastic change however is his mouth which has elongated massively to be longer than his torso.

CHARACTER 2: DOGDAY DogDay, the sunny, strong, and determined leader of our critters! Each trusts him to find the bright side in any situation, and to have a friendly word of encouragement should they feel down. He'll always keep his friends going, no matter what.

DogDay is a heroic character and the trusted leader of the Smiling Critters group. As shown by his pendant, DogDay has a sunny demeanor, always looking at the bright side of things and encouraging others in their time of need. Like the other six Smiling Critters, excluding CatNap, DogDay seems to have ancraophobia (fear of wind),

DogDay is an anthropomorphic canine, characterized by an orange fur that complements his expressive black eyes, floppy ears, and sleek black nose. His features extend to a sunshine-yellow outer mouth and belly, while a touch of Golden-Brown graces his paws, ears, and the left side of his face. In line with other Smiling Critters, DogDay sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, his inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A distinct black zipper gracefully traces down his center, showcasing a captivating gold sun pendant surrounded by radiant orange sun rays. There are belts strapped onto his limbs and around his neck. There are bandages and a large belt around his torso, keeping his legs in place after they got ripped off. He walks with a slight limp.
